Fess Parker Wine Country Inn

Amanda Parker, Chef Trent, Pastry Chef Emma and the rest of the Fess Parker team gave us the wedding of our dreams in April 2018. We were looking for more of an intimate and elegant dinner experience rather than a more traditional event and they completely captured our vision and helped create a beautiful evening we will cherish forever. The food and drinks they prepared for us was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. Many of the ingredients came directly from their farm, which tasted so fresh and decadent. They were all super attentive, accommodating and eased so many planning nerves, along with recommending an amazing florist and photographer. The little details of making us feel special and a part of their family during every part of the process really resonated with us. It was so important for us to choose a place that felt like home and the entire staff did nothing short of this. We’ve already been back once and can’t wait to visit again. We didn’t just get married at Fess Parker, we also gained a family.

It is without reservation that I highly recommend Amanda Parker, Catering and Events Manager, and the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn for a wedding (or any special event, for that matter). I can't say enough good things about Amanda and her team- from the moment we met with Amanda, she was an absolute delight to work with. She worked with us to accommodate our requests and personally paid attention to every detail on our wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly. She and her team checked in with us constantly throughout the wedding weekend and seemed genuinely happy for us. Here are some other things that really stood out: 1) Service- the service and event personnel were exceptional. At our tasting, for example, the chefs came out and introduced themselves and then helped us put together a phenomenal menu for the wedding. At the wedding, service couldn't have been better. Some of our guests had food preferences/sensitivities (that we didn't know about). The staff noticed they weren't eating some of the food and brought special meals to them on the spot. It was this type of going above and beyond that happened throughout the process. 2) Food- you will never have better food at a wedding. Almost all the food they serve is from the Parker farm and ranch which is near the Inn, so everything is seasonal and freshest of the fresh. Even with a large group, no detail went overlooked, and our guests raved about every course. 3) Venue- the only word is magical. There is something so magical about the Fess that makes it unlike any other venue. It's a mix of farmhouse and Four Seasons, where you feel like you are at a five-star resort but also feel relaxed and at home. We did the ceremony and the reception in the garden with some pictures at the winery/ranch, and it was all perfect. The garden is a beautiful space where you can have a fun, larger group but also small enough where it feels intimate and personal. And the winery/ranch made for some of the best wedding pictures we've ever seen. Also, the design and decor of the Inn are exquisite and made the entire event feel so classy. I would highly recommend the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn as a venue to any bride. Our guests were extremely pleased with everything, with several saying it was hands down the best wedding they have ever been to. The Fess exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and with our decision to have our wedding there.
