Fetes de Fleurs - Let's Flower Party!

Ali was fantastic! We had such a good time making the flower crowns and she helped us learn about how to best cut and care for the crowns. She took really cute pictures of our group as well and we would highly recommend her for a fun girls day!!!! Also, when the weather was not going our way we needed to change the timing and she was super understanding and flexible and agreed to change with little notice so that we could still do some of the other things we had planned for the weekend. Overall the most fun day!!!

I was apart of a group of 5 for a BACH party in Charleston. We really enjoyed our experience making flower crowns with Ali! We decided to go with silk crowns to make them last & the product she chose was PERFECT! She got just the right colors we asked for. Such a great product for our group to wear all weekend!

We booked a flower crown party to celebrate our bride’s bachelorette weekend. Everything with the booking was fairly organized and I had high hopes coming into the day. That’s when things started to go downhill. First of all, Ali emailed me 1 hour before she was to be at our house to push back our time from 3-4. I explained to her that we had reservations later that night and getting started after 3:30 would be very inconvenient for our group of 12. She assured me she could set up and be ready to go by 3:30. The set up process takes about 15/20 min. She did not arrive until 3:30 and we didn’t begin until closer to 4. I felt she was a bit rushed because of this and already felt an unprofessionalism to the whole event. Her stock of flowers were beautiful. This is the main reason I gave her 2 stars. The product seemed healthy and fresh. And the end results of the crowns were beautiful. But the in between got worse. Ali seemed very distracted and rushed through her explanation of the building process. Most of the girls were very confused. She had an air about her that made everyone uncomfortable and that was heightened by unnecessary comments by her insulting the work of some of the girl’s crowns. Some comments were “I’m not sure what you did here” condescendingly laughing. “This is a mess”, “wow” said insultingly. She began pulling apart crowns without asking, aggressively throwing flowers to the ground like she was frustrated. She blatantly wouldn’t offer advice to help, but rather would take crowns from girls and just start making them herself. Most of the girls just left their crown with her and left the party after only 30 minutes. At the end of the party, she rushed out of the house taking her leftover flowers and barely cleaning up. I was left to clean a mess of stems and petals. We felt like employees who were slacking on the job, not clients who paid a lot of money for an event of 12. I have never written a review before. I am self employed personally and understand how damaging 1 review can be. In this case however, it was expressed by everyone at the event that something had to be said. Spend your money somewhere else. This experience was a party killer and the vibe left everyone feeling down and like they wasted their hard earned money. It’s such a shame, because the crowns really were beautiful. I really want to give a higher review because the creative concept of this company is wonderful. We all wore the crowns out that night, but unfortunately, it only brought up more conversations about how appalled we all were.
