Outside of the gorgeous venue, natural landscape and accommodations that make Fiddle Lake Farm so great, are the people that make it all happen. Pam, Craig, Lisa (L.C. Solutions), and the rest of the crew were helpful, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and prepared every step of the way. We spent the week of our wedding at the venue and stayed in their historic Bed and Breakfast. Their services were top notch, they were attentive and helpful with wedding setup and tear down, and also great to hang out with. We truly had an amazing time getting to know Pam, Craig and Lisa and are grateful to be part of the Fiddle Lake Family. Their hard work and passion for making your wedding day vision come to life will shine through on your path to the alter. We are so grateful to have met our new Fiddle Lake Family and for the amazing wedding we had. We give the highest recommendation for the venue and the people that make it so great. Thank you Fiddle Lake Farm!
Fiddle Lake Farm is quite the magical property! After touring the grounds we knew it was the venue for us because it featured beautiful scenery, clean & quaint quarters for us and guests, and lakefront property for wedding party options. We felt at ease the moment we met with Pam & Craig, in fact, we continued talking for hours after deciding to go with Fiddle for our rock & roll carnival themed wedding. And, would you believe, the barn featured a built-in vintage soda jerk stand! Everything about Fiddle suited our dream wedding plans and I can state, without any reservation that Pam & Craig were the perfect venue owners that did everything they could to make our dreams come true. Thank you Fiddle Lake Farm!

We will be FOREVER grateful to Pam & Craig and the Fiddle Lake Farm family! They made every single one of our wedding day dreams possible. We are from Long Island and wanted that true barn wedding experience. We found Fiddle Lake, went for a visit, and never looked back. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and we truly felt like part of the Fiddle Lake Farm family (and still do!) Pam and Craig were always so welcoming through email and during our multiple visits to the barn that always came with something fun, such as tasting homemade honey, a ride on a snowmobile or gator, or Craig's wonderful stories about the Adirondacks. They truly love what they do and making you feel right at home. They had so many wonderful recommendations for vendors and every single one ended up being FABULOUS! The barn and the grounds are GORGEOUS, with so many different backgrounds and environments to take photos, from inside the barn, the the ferns, or out in the field, or up on the hill overlooking Elk Mountain, the beautiful views and locations are endless! You also have the option of setting up the barn and decor in any way you wish! It was so nice to get a chance to be creative! The legacy barn, where past couples have left their mark, whether it was by leaving frames, candles, mason jars, chalkboard signs, there were so many things to choose from and use and saved us so much money on trips to Michaels! Fiddle Lake even enabled us to have root beer and creamiscle floats served by Pam and Craig's son and a fireworks show in the field, smores and sparklers by the bon fire, and a Floating Lantern send off! Our guests were absolutely IN LOVE with Fiddle Lake, so much so that they even said "How is anyone else supposed to get married following this wedding?" and one of our friends that attended our wedding is now getting married there themselves next fall! It was an absolute hit and our friends and family are STILL talking about it! I could go on and on about how wonderful Fiddle Lake Farm and Pam, Craig and the whole team are! We even went to visit Pam and Craig after our wedding with the newest member of our family, a puppy, and once again we were welcomed like family! Look out for our FLF corn holes in the legacy barn ;)
What can I say about Fiddle Lake Farm other than that it is pure magic. This place has everything you could ask for and more. Pam and Craig run the FLF wedding operation with the help of their amazing wedding planner, Lisa Criscera (we actually found Fiddle Lake Farm through Lisa). With three incredible ceremony sites to choose from (in a magical forest, by the beautiful lake, or the gorgeous field that overlooks the endless mountains - our choice) a huge barn that is sectioned off into the dining area, cool sitting rooms, a smoking lounge, a root beer float area, the bar and a huge dance floor, and plenty of outdoor space to set up lawn games, you really can't ask for more. They have a fabulous bed and breakfast on location that the couple getting married and a select few can stay in, a house by the lake's ceremony site for other guests and a vintage covertable car to make for the couple's grand entrance! Pam and Craig run a tight ship with Lisa and their team all work together to ensure the day goes off without a hitch. You can tell Pam and Craig truly enjoy doing this for couples and it felt so great to have the ceremony at a venue run by such caring and compassionate people. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the entire day and we couldn't have been happier.
Words cannot express how magical Fiddle Lake Farm is, and how SPECTACULAR our wedding turned out under the guidance and support of Pam and Craig!
As my fiancé and I were searching for a venue, our standards were almost impossibly high. We wanted a forest ceremony, a barn reception, a nearby lake, and enough lodging for our immediate family and bridal party to enjoy the entire weekend on site. Trothing through countless websites, I thought our standards were way too high and there was no way such a place existed. Eventually we found FLF and it fit every criteria we had, and actually turned out a million times better!
The beautiful vintage barn decor, the car and boat rides, the root beer float bar, their gorgeous home, the field, the forest, the lake, the magical lighting, everything came together to create the perfect vibe for a spectacular wedding! We definitely recommend it wholeheartedly, and look forward to visiting Fiddle Lake Farm as a married couple!
Fiddle Lake Farm provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our rustic summer wedding. Being lovers of the outdoors, my husband and I were looking for a venue that offered a beautiful landscape, while still matching our elegant hopes for our wedding day. FLF did just that. It is the perfect place for a barn wedding, which ties elegance and romance to a natural setting. The owners of the event space are accommodating, helpful, flexible, and very attentive to your every need through all steps of the process. They also have staff willing to help in any way you can think of as you are able to decorate and set up for your wedding beginning on the Tuesday beforehand! I loved being able to have a part in every little detail of our wedding day and with the creativity and help of my mom and sisters, we truly made the barn our very own. We loved every part of our wedding at Fiddle Lake Farm! From the ceremony in the hayfields, to dinner and dancing in the barn, and topped off with a sparkler exit and bonfire for our after-party, FLF made our wedding a dream come true.
When Shawn & I began our search for a wedding venue, we knew we weren't the type to host our event at a hotel or banquet hall type setting. We're lovers of the outdoors, nature, and a more alternative setting. As we started searching the NEPA area, we found Fiddle Lake Farm, and decided to schedule a visit.
We met Pam Benson when we arrived with a welcome and a smile, and as she began to walk us through the property, creating a wedding vision for us, we realized there is something so magical, and special there. Located on their many acres overlooking Elk Mountain in the Endless Mountains region of Susquehanna County, we just knew it was the perfect place for us, in every way. This rustic venue offered views of the woods, the mountain, hay field, apple orchard, and a beautiful barn space for the reception.
After we booked with Pam, and lucky for us, we booked just in time, right before word spread and FLF was booked solid! Soon enough we met Craig Benson as well, who is a total delight! Craig always has the right thing to say, just as the right time - exuding positivity that is contagious. I am a Hotel Conference Planner professionally, so in the months to come, I had many, many questions for Pam, to each and every very detail. Organization is in my nature, and with all my questions, Pam was always patient thorough, and helpful as I gathered all my details. She offered ideas and suggestions as well, which were a great help since we live 3 hours away and couldn't visit very often.
Once the week of our wedding arrived, I began making my daily trips and carloads of things over to FLF to begin setting up. This is when I had the pleasure of meeting Brain & Zac, the brothers team that works so hard for Pam & Craig, assisting with all of their barn set-up, grounds keeping, and bride set-up questions. :) They were a joy to work with as well.
By the time our wedding day rolled around, it had poured buckets of rain all night, leaving our ceremony location in question. Our dream was to be married surrounded by the woods, with the changing fall leaves, in the narrows. It was not until about noon that day we were able to make the decision to set up there, and the FLF team went to work at the last minute to make it happen, and made it beautiful!!!! The tractor rides for our guests to and from the location were enjoyed by everyone, and the ride in the MG for my Father and I to get to the ceremony was a treat, especially with Craig as our driver! The barn as a venue itself, was just perfect - from the gorgeous barn wood dance floor, to the lighting, chandeliers, and canoes in its ceiling. I cannot say enough about the detail of this space, and how much you can do with subtle additions to make it yours. And it doesn't need much!
Our stay in the Farmhouse was wonderful! The bed was so, so, comfortable; the rooms clean, and so nicely decorated with antique items, giving it such a nice feel. One of the best parts of staying in the Farmhouse, was the breakfast cooked by Pam & Craig for us each morning. It was delicious!!! She uses farm fresh eggs, and some ingredients from her own garden. Just wonderful.
I cannot say enough good things about Pam & Craig, and Fiddle Lake Farm as a venue for any special event. You will never regret your decision to work with them, and will be overwhelmed with joy of its outcome.
With love,
Shawn & Stefy Beury
I absolutely love Fiddle Lake Farm, and loved having my wedding there. Let me break down all the pros:
Service: Pam & Craig, the owners of the farm are extremely nice and go above and beyond to make your day special. Pam is very responsive and never took more than a day or two to respond to our many, many emails and questions, and was always very helpful and patient in her responses. As part of the package, couples have access to the farm the week of the wedding to decorate, etc. We went up a few days earlier, and Pam and her team were so helpful. We were able to use left over decorations in storage, which was a life saver, because we didn't have to buy any additional decorations! Couples (including us) tend to leave things to pay forward to other couples. During the wedding, they were always around and were amazing, and even stepped in to make sure other vendors were doing what they needed to (like, making sure that tables had enough water). They were simply amazing.
The setting: Have you ever wanted to get married outside with beautiful scenery? If you want to get married in front of a lake, check. If you want to do it in the fields with hay bales and a mountain in the background, check. If you want to do it the middle of trees, check. We chose the second option and our wedding was gorgeous. The walk to the ceremony site was one of the most gorgeous I'd ever seen, and people are still telling me how gorgeous my venue was. The barn for the reception is the perfect rustic barn you've been looking for. I can't describe how gorgeous it is - there are so many details, like boats on the ceiling, a boat with a glass over it as a bar on the dance floor, all the cute items that Pam has in the barn (yours to use or remove), the beautiful farm tables (not included), the mis-matched chairs that are included in your package, the cute bar on the outside, the view out the back of the barn when everyone's seated for dinner... I can't say enough. I wish I could get married there all over again! Or have a big party!
Amenities: As part of your package, you can stay at the B&B on the farm, and it's super cute. The beds are very comfortable and the house is gorgeous for your photos the day of. On top of that, with the more expensive (but still reasonable) package, you get the lake house, where you can have your rehearsal - which I recommend. We set up a few tables (Pam threw them in) with umbrellas, and picnic blankets, and it was gorgeous. You and your guests have access to the boats, and the lake during your dinner. I can't recommend this enough. We also left her the globe lights used in the bushes, so it's very nice at night too. When we ran out of food during our welcome dinner, Pam offered to pick up pizza for us.
I just can't say enough about this place (as you can see). Especially since I looked at several farms within a 3 hour drive of NYC, I can honestly say - FLF was the easiest to deal with, you get so many more services and amenities than other farms in the area and in the Hudson Valley, and its beauty can rival any of the farms we saw (and beat them, honestly). Have your wedding there - you won't regret it!
When we went to see Fiddle Lake Farm (FLF) for the first time, after about an hour our minds were pretty much already made up. In fact, we never really looked anywhere else. It was love at first sight.
In so many ways, FLF and the folks there, were simply amazing. They went above and beyond. They treated us kindly, and warmly, and opened up their farm to us as if we were in fact family already. Anything we needed, any problems or concerns that arose, they were there to help us figure out. And the farm itself, with it's handsome farmhouse and weather barns, was gorgeous.
The food they provided was awesome, we couldn't have been happier. The homes (the farmhouse, and a lake house - both which we rented for our families during the stay), were each decked out with their own, well thought out, often historic touches. They gave off a feeling of warmth and comfort, while feeling rustic and vacation like too.
A gorgeous hilltop view awaits folks at the top of the farm just past the barn, and this is the location we decided we would have our ceremony at. We couldn't have been more pleased with the choice we made to have it there, not to mention Craig and friends even built the perfect curved arch out of birch trees under which would hold the ceremony.
We didn't want a wedding where guests had to rush out in four hours, or where we could only pick from a few select caterers. With FLF, we didn't have to worry about that, as they offered fantastic flexibility, and we were allowed to craft a wedding that really worked for, and felt like, us and our families.
The morning-after-brunch was my very favorite part of the whole weekend! With our tired and smiling wedding party recounting the events of the big day while bonding over amazing omelets and fresh fruit, I got to take in my first day of married like surrounded by those I loved. Yet another FLF bonus! Family and friends alike loved the beautiful farm setting and still tell us to this day how much they enjoyed our wedding and how fun it was.
If you want a rustic wedding in the perfect rustic barn setting, then still want more, like the experience of a lifetime, then you need to go check out Fiddle Lake and meet the great people who live there! They were our dream come true and our wedding just wouldn't have been the same anywhere else.
