First, I do not have good enough things to say about Fiddler’s and their Wedding & Social Events Manager...
, Meg! Our journey with Fiddler’s began in the Spring of 2020, just as the world shut down due to COVID. I was not living in NJ at the time and was limited to looking at venues online due to lockdown. After researching 100+ different venues, I reached out to Meg. She went above and beyond and sent an extensive video walkthrough to demonstrate what our day would look like. Long story short, we committed to Fiddler’s sight unseen. When we finally were able to tour Fiddler’s that summer when restrictions were lifted, our decision was reaffirmed.
Throughout the entire process, Meg was professional, organized, meticulous, kind, caring, thoughtful, competent, timely, understanding, and flexible. She sent us a ton of planning materials, from a timeline, to recommended vendors, accommodations, food menus/options, extras (highly recommend the pizza truck for the end of the night), and more. We were incredibly lucky that Fiddler’s and the rest of our amazing vendors were so understanding when we postponed our wedding (twice!). She made sure that every detail was in place and confirmed. Our food and cake tasting in the months before the wedding was also so special and wonderful.
The day of the wedding, we got ready at Fiddler’s, which was relaxing and comfortable. A generous lunch was provided for everyone and our server (shout out to Arlene) was very attentive and wonderful. Staff worked with our florist to seamlessly convert our wedding from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony, due to weather conditions. The ballroom turned out to be a beautiful ceremony space, and we were able to keep the ceremony arch over our sweetheart table for the reception, which was gorgeous.
During the cocktail hour, Meg literally chased us with a tray of appetizers and water bottles as we rode away on a golf cart for pictures. We did make it back with more than enough time to mingle with guests and enjoy the spread. The reception itself went off without a hitch (Meg made sure we ran on time), and it was truly a memorable whirlwind of a day. Importantly, with Meg at the helm of our wedding, we felt that we were able to take time to stop, be present, and take it all in (which can be really hard with everything going on).
Overall, Meg was our wedding planner, day-of coordinator, hand-holder, therapist, wardrobe assistant (for dress changes throughout the night), and more. We are so grateful that we had such a wonderful experience!
Bottom Line: If you are looking for a venue that feels like home, has a low-key atmosphere, exudes understated elegance, and has a consummate professional/lovely person in charge of their events, then Fiddler’s Elbow is for you!
Of Note: We have gone to various functions at Fiddler’s since our wedding and can attest that the club and its amenities only continue to improve over time with consistently amazing food and events.

sh working with Meg and Fiddlers was a dream come true. Being so far out from our wedding date it could have been very easy to feel like an after thought for a busy venue and it never felt like that. Meg was so attentive and thorough and quick to respond to any and every question you could have. She made wedding planning actually feel enjoyable. When it comes to the venue Fiddlers has everything you could hope for. Stunning grounds, delicious food, friendly staff. Everything was beyond perfection and the actual day of the wedding everything ran so smoothly I didn’t have a care in the world. Cocktail hour was incredible and our guests are still raving about the variety of the food and how just visually stunning everything was. You can’t go wrong picking this venue. It’s timeless, romantic, and you will want to go back again and again… I truly hope I get invited to a wedding here to get to experience from a guest’s view! My husband and I are so thankful to Meg and the entire team at fiddlers. It was everything we could have wanted and more. Book this venue you won’t regret it!!!!

The food was truly next level; every single dish was crafted with such care and superior quality that our guests are still raving about it. The drinks were just as impressive, each one mixed to absolute perfection.
What really set this venue apart, though, was the exceptional service. There are also so many beautiful picture opportunities throughout the venue and grounds, which made our photos absolutely incredible.
Meg was my main point of contact throughout the entire planning process, and she was there for absolutely everything on the wedding day itself. She is so lovely and truly exceptional at what she does. She has a way of making you feel genuinely celebrated and cared for throughout the entire experience. She’s quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and always goes above and beyond.
The bride and groom suites were something important I was looking for when finding a venue, and they were perfect. They had breakfast and lunch available for us while getting ready, which was such a great touch and made the morning feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Fiddler’s Elbow makes you feel like your wedding truly matters, not just like another event on their calendar. I would recommend this venue to anyone — it was the best decision I ever made.

Having our wedding at Fiddler's was probably the best wedding decision we made. Planning a wedding is stressful, but Meg and her team made it about as easy as it could possibly be....
We booked our vendors, selecting many of them from the preferred list, and Meg saw to every detail, making sure our day ran as smoothly as possible.
The venue is beautiful and the grounds provided the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. We spent the morning getting ready onsite and the staff took such good care of us, providing delicious snacks and drinks!
By the way, the food is really good! It's still wedding food, but it's the best wedding food you'll ever have. Our guests raved about it.
We toured a lot of venues before we selected Fiddler's, but Fiddler's really stood out as having a staff who really cared about making our day feel special instead of just another event.

Being able to get ready on-site starting at 8 a.m. was such a luxury—our attendant kept the drinks and food flowing, and even with 17 of us in the bridal suite, it never once felt crowded. One of our favorite parts was having a private cocktail hour with our bridal party before the ceremony, which felt so special.
Meg was incredible—so organized and supportive—which made the planning process fun and stress-free. The entire team executed the wedding flawlessly, and so many of our guests commented that it was the best service and food they’ve ever had at a wedding. People were blown away by the cocktail hour, the seamless flow of the evening, and how quickly the bar line moved. I would recommend Fiddler’s 10/10 times—it truly exceeded every expectation.

When searching for our venue, we were looking for a place that would be gorgeous in the fall, with beautiful outdoors, but that also had a stunning ballroom with plenty of space to dance. Fiddler’s Elbow gave us all of that and so much more. The grounds were picture-perfect with the autumn colors, and the ballroom was elegant, spacious, and filled with such an inviting energy. It was everything we had hoped for and beyond!
From start to finish, every single detail was handled with such care and excellence. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was unmatched—attentive, warm, and professional in every way. Everything felt effortless on our end, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy the day!
A huge part of what made our experience extraordinary was Meghan. We could not have been more blessed to have her by our side throughout the entire journey. She was thoughtful, organized, and so genuinely invested in making it the best day ever. Meghan’s dedication and attention to detail gave us complete confidence that we were in the best hands. ting, visits with the florist, etc. The food tasting (about 3 months pre wedding) was incredible — we had customized signature drink options, so many courses of delicious food and were even able to build our own cake layer by layer. As the day got closer, Meghan shared a very systematic checklist of planning necessities that made it fool proof and as low stress and possible :) The day before the wedding, when we went to drop off decor, the entire Fiddler’s staff was so excited and helpful — they really helped us get into the “wow, we’re getting married” mode!
On wedding day, we had private suites for the wedding party (one for the girls, one for the guys) — the space was ours for the day so we were able to bring whatever we might need and leave it there! While we were getting ready, the staff had breakfast and lunch spreads out for us. As we ate, the staff came in and took our plates — so the space stayed clean and tidy (which the photographer especially appreciated when she arrived!). When it was time to leave for the ceremony (church off site), the staff made sure that we all made it to the trolley without any issues — which is particularly impressive considering we were a wedding party of 25! When we arrived back at Fiddlers, Meghan was waiting for us with cups of water as she knew it would be time for our photos. She directed us to the most beautiful photo spots around the stunning clubhouse and even got us a golf cart to drive around the course for more photos. She tended to our every need the entire time and somehow also made sure the cocktail hour was running smoothly at the same time! After our photos, Meghan took my husband and me up to the bridal suite for a private cocktail hour — she brought us our signature drink and an assortment of cocktail hour food. It was delicious and a much needed moment of quiet! During the lively hours of the reception, the staff made sure everything went perfectly. The coordination with the band and photographer was so impressive. They even made a last minute pivot to push speeches back when we noticed that our guests were outside enjoying the beautiful summer sunset! We are still in awe at how well organized and executed the entire day was. And we have gotten so much positive feedback on the structure of the event, ambiance of the venue and tastiness of the food — from cocktail hour through cake and dessert.
The cleanup went just as smoothly as the day. The staff was incredibly kind, patient and energized. Most importantly, they were FUN to work with and clearly love what they do. They made our day absolutely perfect and I would relive the entire process 100 times if I could!

e. Meg answered emails within hours, no matter what the day was. She spent time answering our questions, giving recommendations, organizing our tasting, allowing us special accommodations, came in on her day off, set up a meeting with the head bartender, and more. Her expertise is UNMATCHED at any venue we looked at! Our cake was simple and elegant, and the flavor/texture was to die for. Highly recommend the red velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cocktail hour through the after-party food is STILL being talked about by our guests, as well as the alcohol selection and wine choices. Every wedding has something minor that the couple would have changed, but we've been married for a few months now and cannot think of a single thing that we would have done differently, all thanks to the Fiddler's team, especially Meg. It was truly a perfect day to celebrate our love, and the entire team treated us like Fiddler's family. We've already recommended Fiddler's as a top wedding venue choice to a few couples and would absolutely recommend to ANYONE that's lucky enough to have this venue as an option. Meg and Ainsley were incredible, and were with me until the very end on my wedding day. The team was flexible with any little requests my husband and I had. ood things about our experience with Fiddler's. Our guests are still raving about the food, service, and atmosphere. The natural flow moving from outdoor ceremony to indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, to reception in the ballroom gave us wonderful "different vibes" throughout our night and let us take full advantage of the beautiful manor and property. Meg was there with us every step of the way in planning, guiding us and answering questions. We had a wonderful private tasting that we were able to bring our parents to, and our wedding package included a tremendous amount of (delicious!) food across our cocktail hour and dinner. The staff the day of our wedding were so courteous and helpful. The venue was pristinely clean and we were able to take photos all over, from inside the manor to the beautiful entrance, and on the golf course(s). The bridal suite is excellent- a full front sitting room with great seating and a big beautiful mirror, private bathroom, and second room for hair and makeup. The groom's suite is a bit more basic but more than enough for what the boys need day of! Breakfast, lunch, and a private cocktail hour are all included to make sure family and bridal party is fed and relaxed throughout the day.
During planning I asked Meg a number of times if I needed to hire a day of coordinator, but she always assured me that her team took care of the details day of. Throughout the morning of our wedding while we were getting ready we had a relatively large issue with one of our other vendors and Meg handled it, and resolved it, so well that no one else even knew about it. After our wedding I told my husband(!) that if we had hired a DOC it would have been a waste of money, Meg and team were so great.
I also threw a bit of a wrench in things by being 16 weeks pregnant at our wedding. Most of our guests knew but I did not want our wedding day to be all about our pregnancy. The entire Fiddler's team was so accommodating and discreet, making sure I was extra comfortable and feeling good on our big day! From making sure I had food options during the day to making sure I had a non-alchoholic drink in my champagne glass and even helping us take a sneaky sonogram/announcement picture without our guests even realizing.
I could go on forever with how great our experience was with Fiddler's, I recommend them hands down!!!

Meg and Ainsley worked tirelessly throughout the night, balancing professionalism with a relaxing, warm presence that allowed us to fully enjoy the evening without worry. ith, incredibly friendly, and so helpful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, they ensured everything ran smoothly and were incredibly attentive, as were all the other staff members.
Chef Mike absolutely blew us away with the food! The cocktail hour featured a raw bar with oysters, shrimp cocktail, and fresh ceviches, along with passed hors d'oeuvres that had everyone talking. The brisket carving station was a standout—tender and full of flavor—while themed stations offered Asian-inspired dishes and pasta options that were equally fantastic. The dinner entrées, Chateaubriand and Chilean sea bass, were cooked to perfection. The starters were delicious, and the pastry chef delivered an amazing cake and beautifully plated desserts that were both tasty and stunning. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing and service was exceptional throughout the night. Every detail was a culinary delight!
They held a private cocktail hour for the bridal party, and the staff made sure we were always taken care of with plenty of food and drinks, which added such a personal touch to the day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds that provided the perfect backdrop for our photos—every spot was picture-perfect.
From the light breakfast and lunch served while we were getting ready in the morning to the last moments of the reception, everything was flawless. I wouldn’t change a thing. If you're considering Fiddler’s Elbow for your wedding, I highly recommend it—it’s a 20/10 in my book!

The venue is gorgeous, the staff is prepared for any emergency (it rained all day during my wedding and they provided blankets for the guests during the wedding ceremony under the covered outdoor space), and the food and ambiance were spectacular. The private tasting was one of our favorite experiences of wedding planning, and showed the attention to detail that FECC pays toward its weddings. Even in the rain, our photos were gorgeous and our day was perfect. We wish we could be a guest at a wedding at FECC! If I could do it all over, I would choose this venue every time.

we were in our own private world celebrating the best day of our lives. We trusted Meg with every decision leading up to and on the big day and everything was perfect. Our vision was so meticulously executed and I had complete confidence in Meg and her team to make sure everything ran smoothly. The food was outstanding, the staff were professional and knowledgeable, and all operations were seamless. I even left my bouquet at the end of the night and Meg responded immediately to my frantic email that it was safe in a vase in the fridge for me to pick up the following day. requests. Fiddler's goes out of their way to make the entire wedding experience special without nickel-and-diming the couple or their family. Once you are there, they truly take care of you! From the private tasting (amazing!) and the day-of mimosa brunch for the bridal party and family, to the private cocktail hour - our experience was nothing short of excellent. The food was great, the add-ons (e.g. martini bar, pizza truck) were fun and allowed us to incorporate our personality, and we are so glad we chose Fiddler's. We opted not to hire a day-of planner and didn't feel that we needed one because the team at Fiddler's is a well-oiled machine with plenty of experience. We have no regrets and would do it all over again if we could.

nd beyond anything we could have expected to make the day run so smoothly. From our first visit up through the wedding day she was super responsive and available to answer all of our questions, and almost all of the amazing vendors we used for the day were her recommendations. Meg also ran the entire wedding day itself, from setting up the ballroom and coordinating the vendor setup, to getting the wedding party ready to walk down the aisle, to making sure my husband and I ate at the reception! The entire staff at Fiddler's was incredible as well and we got so many comments from guests about the great service! The Fiddler's experience eliminated so much of the typical wedding stress. The whole wedding party got ready at the venue, and Fiddler's provided food and drinks throughout the day so no one had to worry about a thing. The grounds are so beautiful and include such a wide variety of backdrops for photos, including fields of prairie grass, a river with bridges, and wooded areas, along with the stone manor itself. As for the food, our guests were blown away by everything, but in particular the wide variety of appetizers, the wedding cake, and individual pizzas at the end of the night!

ervice -- literally everything -- is TOP NOTCH! Meg is incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, offering advice and guidance, helping with floorplan and design ideas, allowing us to come in several times to look at things, assisting with creation of timelines, executing everything the day of... the list goes on and on!! The estate is SO beautiful and the flow of the event between all the spaces is just perfect. Getting ready there all day on the second floor of the mansion, served breakfast, lunch, and drinks by the lovely staff, we didn't need to worry about a thing! The ballroom is spacious, full of windows and we loved that our band was up on a stage (the acoustics in the room are also amazing which I find is not always the case at some venues!) The private tasting was such a special and memorable evening for us and our families too! On top of tasting the wines and food, we worked with the master mixologist to create and taste our own signature cocktails, and "built" our wedding cake. We had a little over 200 people at our wedding, and everyone was raving about the food (both cocktail hour and meal), drinks, and the service (and they still are months later!). The team really knows what they are doing there, everything is just above and beyond. We cannot recommend Fiddler's enough and only wish we could do our day there over and over again!!

d twice. Meg and Fiddler's worked with us each time to accomodate the changes. When we initially booked the venue, we asked Meg if she had worked with any other vendors and she provided us with a comprehensive list of vendors they had worked with in the past, from florists to photographers to hotels in the area. We selected our photographer, florist and band from the list, and I would highly recommend this because it made the day run so smoothly because everyone was familiar with the space and the flow of the day. Leading up to the wedding was an incredible experience. Meg kept us on track with the timeline and was responsive with answers to our thousand questions. The food tasting was a celebration in itself and the food from the kitchen at Fiddler's is outstanding. (Guests commented at the wedding how delicious everything was) On the day of the wedding, the weather was not cooperating and we put our full trust in Meg and the florist to make the space and all of the transitions from ceremony to cocktails to reception flawless. The staff was ever present but never intrusive and they were there to meet our needs and those of our guests, no matter what the request. We arrived early to get ready and the rooms provided were beautifully appointed and Fiddler's provided everything we needed. A special shout out to Arlene who was there with us from Fiddler's serving breakfast and lunch and keeping the spaces cleaned throughout the day leading up to the ceremony. The grounds are meticulously kept and afforded many spaces for beautiful pictures. After the wedding was over at 11 the guests were greeted by a pizza station outside while they were waiting for their cars. Guests called to say it was the nicest touch they every had after a wedding was over. I could go on and on about this venue but suffice it to say that if you want the perfect event, Meg and her team are their to provide it! I would highly recommend Fiddler's for a wedding or any other important event.

wedding day. There are so many amazing things about Fiddler's, but to highlight a few. Fiddler's is absolutely breathtaking and has beautiful old-world architecture, spectacular rooms to take pictures, stunning grounds, a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready starting at 8 am, and a spacious ballroom that's perfect for a party. Meg and team was absolutely fantastic, very professional and on-top of everything and we were so confident that they would do an amazing job (and they did!). Additionally, the food is fantastic and we got so many compliments. Fiddler's is really one of a kind and is the full package for a wedding venue. My husband and I looked at many venues and this is truly difficult to find! Could not recommend getting married here enough.

with a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. This venue had not one but two backup plans (one outdoor covered and the other inside)! The charm the grounds has is amazing and is very elegant with a sense of old house charm. The banquet room has plenty of space, and we loved that the dance floor was situated in the middle so all of our guests could enjoy a view! In addition, getting ready upstairs was so convenient and such a great perk!
Meg is an absolute rockstar and will walk you through and help you with everything you need when planning your wedding at this venue. In addition to her amazing planning skills and personality to put you at ease, she and Lara were so amazing on the day of the wedding. My husband and I married outside on the hottest day of the year (pushing 100 degrees). Meg and Lara did so much to make sure our guests were comfortable. In addition to my amazing wedding planner, they were on top of EVERYTHING the entire night, making sure I had the best time ever!
After our wedding, we received reviews from our guests, complimenting everything from the beauty of the grounds to the five-star meal and staff. They were all blown away by the professionalism of every staff member, the skill of the bartenders, and the array of food choices offered.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience! 10/10 would recommend it!!

npour that happened right before the ceremony like champs and we’re able to make covered outdoor space usable despite the influx of rain. The venue is perfect for beautiful photos and they give you a golf cart to go explore some of the more remote meadow and field areas. The only advice I would give the next bride is to ask for a to go box of cocktail hour food because we didn’t get to eat a single bite with all the pictures and socializing and that was the food I was most excited to try!

The ballroom is romantic and intimate yet can hold over 230 guests! The venue also allows only one wedding a day so we had the entire place to ourselves from 8 in the morning until late in the evening. We worked with their wedding coordinator, Meg who was amazing from the very beginning and worked with us every step of the way. Our wedding day was flawless because of her! Thank you again Fiddler’s for the best day we will never forget!
