Fields at Skycrest is a wedding venue located in Cleveland, NC, that welcomes guests for a day filled with natural beauty and elegance. The breathtaking venue sits on 95 acres of family-owned farmland and exudes a welcoming community feel. With cattle, donkeys, horses, and miniature alpacas grazing on the property, a sense of peacefulness can be felt as soon as you drive through the gates. Owner Stacey boasts years of experience as a florist in the industry and treasures each connection made in her work. This is what inspired she and her husband Todd to design and build Fields at Skycrest in 2020-2021.
Fields at Skycrest features over 10,000 square feet of event space and can accommodate events with up to 300 guests. Say "I do" indoors in the comfortably climate-controlled space. Finished in a neutral color palette, you can easily make your chosen wedding theme pop. If you want a more casual backdrop for your ceremony and photos, opt to exchange vows outside under the covered Pavilion. This also makes for a scenic spot for cocktail hours and mingling before the reception begins. For a truly natural outdoor ceremony, you can host the ceremony under the property's 150-year-old Grand Oak tree. For reception, the venue boasts a spacious climate controlled reception space characterized by a herringbone brick fireplace, French chandeliers, and modern sliding glass doors. In addition, the venue has on site suites where both parties can prepare for the day in comfort and style.
Stacey, Todd, and the rest of the team are happy to help in any way possible to make your dream day a reality. They can supply tables, chairs, and a range of additional event rentals, and will look after the setup and breakdown of these. Outside vendors are welcome so that your celebration can be serviced in a style that best suits you. Not only that, but pets are also welcome here, meaning even your smallest and furriest friends can be a part of your special day. ded every expectation on our wedding day. The entire property is absolutely gorgeous, but what truly sets Fields at Skycrest apart is the team behind it. Stacey, Kim, Jessica, and the entire staff was so organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect from start to finish. They worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and vendors, handled every detail with professionalism, and made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free (which is saying a lot during wedding planning!).
Having a December wedding it was important that we had options for different weather scenarios, and I must say this is the only venue that we found that both the indoor or outdoor options were equally as beautiful. It was such a relief knowing that whatever North Carolina weather we had our wedding day, it was still going to be amazing.
We have not stopped receiving compliments from our family and guests about how smoothly the wedding day went and just how stunning the venue is. We are beyond grateful for the care, flexibility, and attention to detail this team provided. If you’re considering this venue for your wedding, book it! You will be in the best hands and have the most incredible day.

toured a few other venues with no luck. We had several issues with lack of communication from venues and were specifically looking for a venue that had a wonderful outdoor space, yet also had a beautiful inside rain plan option, specifically with a mantle as a backdrop- no one delivered except FAS!
Despite booking a year+ out from our date, I had no reservations that our ceremony would still be excellent, rain or shine, inside or outside, due to their beautiful venue. Upon booking a few hours later, Stacey and her team were there to answer every question I had over the planning process and then some!
Our day of turned out to be more perfect than I could have ever anticipated! From getting to the venue early to getting ready in the massive bridal suite to taking pictures outside, everything was more than I could have imagined. The weather was great and the Oak Tree was a beautiful site to hold our ceremony at. For the reception, FAS executed our vision perfectly with their newly paved outdoor patio space and the beautiful indoor reception area. Our only issue was that the firepit they offer could not be lit due to the drought (at no fault of their own!) and the FAS team were quick to alert us on the day of that this one, small component could not be completed. From the team being there at every step before, during, and after our wedding day, I could not have asked for a better venue or team to have had our wedding at. In all honesty, half of the reason we booked with Fields (apart from how beautiful it is) is because of Stacey and her team. She truly cares about her venue and for each couple to have an incredible wedding day. If you are still looking for a venue, stop searching and RUN TO FIELDS!

I got there and was greeted and everything was great until she was happily asking what my date was again and I proceeded to tell her with a big smile and she said “oh yeah we booked that this morning”. They had not called me once to tell me but instead they sent a reminding text to assure I’d still be there for my appointment that evening. I was completely taken back by that and it put such a bad taste in my mouth for them. They had all day to send me a text/ call letting me know my date had been booked but instead they acted oblivious to get me there to tour instead. This venue is business and money first, people later. Smh.

As a DIY bride, I was a little nervous going in to everything to make sure our day was perfect but Kim, Stacy and Jessica made us feel so at home from the moment we viewed the venue! I remember viewing the venue and my now husband and I looked at each other when we were leaving the property and just knew that it was the place for us! There was talk of potentially moving the ceremony inside due to weather. We didn't end up moving it but if we did I wouldn't have minded because the inside is just as beautiful. The bridal suite is gorgeous! The kitchen is top tier quality for any catering company. There were so many parts of this venue that made it so easy to say yes to. Stacey and Todd are truly some of the kindest most genuine people and we loved working with them throughout the year. Not only did they ask about our preferences, but walked us through things to think about in general about weddings and ways to make decisions (based on guests, our preferences, time limits, things often forgotten, etc.). They also took our budget into consideration and made sure the set-up and features we had were perfect and beautiful. They helped make our day so memorable and we are forever grateful!

The bridal suite is spacious and absolutely gorgeous while the groomsmen suite is an industrial man cave.
