Fieldwork Flowers

The bouquets at my wedding were one of my favorite features of the day, all thanks to Megan's artistry! Making plans with Megan was easy. I feel like I mentioned a few things to her and she took that, ran with it, and created the most gorgeous arrangements. My wedding was a bit unique in that my grandmother, who worked as a florist for decades, made our arbor arrangements. The florist I hired would need to create bouquets that matched what my grandma had made. That was no issue for Megan! In fact, she loved that my grandma had done this for me and seemed to look forward to creating arrangements that matched. Everything she made was stunning. My bridal bouquet really did bring tears to my eyes. I loved everything from the lilies and peonies I requested to the lupin -- which was an unexpected but welcome surprise. My grandma even told me after the wedding how impressed she was with all the bouquets. To top it off, Megan is just an amazing person. She is so sweet and I loved meeting her.

While looking for florists to do minimal tablescapes for our reception, we reached out to Megan at Fieldwork to get creative. She was great via our Zoom call - friendly, engaged with lots of ideas, and a willingness to work with our pretty modest budget. She agreed to be our floral designer, and sent over a contract to seal the deal. Unfortunately, the contract had no language about what we could expect, which we weren't comfortable risking on our important day (there are endless tales of crappy arrangements or AWOL vendors out there), so I emailed Megan requesting we fill in the contract more with language I pulled from the web that she could fully customize. Megan never wrote back, even after 1-2 more followups. I suspect she felt we were too demanding for the modest fee, but the right thing to do would have been to communicate that. We love Fieldwork Flowers, but are glad Megan made the decision to drop out. We're confident in the vendor we ultimately chose - in part because of their detailed contract.

Fieldwork Flowers did my wedding flowers/greenery in September 2019. Words cannot express how stunningly beautiful our floral arrangements were. I went with the custom package because I wanted to feature TONS of hanging amaranth. I left the rest up to Megan and boy did she deliver. It was more than I ever expected or dreamed! Now I regularly order flowers for my home and office. Fieldwork continues to be a step above the rest. Megan's creativity with floral arrangements is truly her gift. Megan was amazing! Super fast to respond to all emails and questions and very friendly. She even met up with us about a month before to talk about our vision and made a beautiful sample bouquet. I would recommend Fieldwork to anyone!
