She assured me that alterations would be completed in time as we were pressed for time due to manufacturer errors in getting me the correct dress (ordered from another dress location). She fitted the dress perfectly to my body and completed all additional alterations I had dreamed of. With a week until my big event, she even altered my rehearsal dress to better fit my body. wedding for a dress that I was told “fit me like a glove and would need very minor alterations”. When I walked in, she had me put on the dress and immediately started cutting the hem. There was no discussion of pricing or approximately how much the alterations would cost. The bridal shop where I bought my dress told me to expect around $200 in alterations because the fit was great. When Fifi only pinned the hem, the top of the shoulders and did a bustle, I was excited that only minor changes were needed. She had me take off the dress and brought me to her desk. There, she handed me a bill for $850. I was legitimately in shock. She told me the dress needed to be cleaned (it was from a sample sale), and the cleaning fee was included at $250. I didn’t know what to do as this is the first wedding I’ve been a part of. I felt forced to pay for the services as she had already cut my dress. She also required full payment that day, that moment rather than “payment upon completion” with a downpayment. As soon as I left the shop, I cried and felt blindsided. I dealt with the financial hit even though everyone was telling me I overpaid. I returned for my second appointment and she stated the bustle she previously did would not work so she was going to redo it. I came in for the final appointment and she said there was no need to try the dress on. When the wedding day came, the bustle was completely ineffective and came undone multiple times, making it extremely difficult to dance or to enjoy the evening because I had to carry my train in my hand. It also was very complicated to figure out. For the amount I paid, I was very unhappy and would really not recommend her shop.

Not only does it carry off the rack options that are absolutely drop dead gorgeous gowns but also alterations are conveniently done there too! I got engaged back in November 2021 I went to hundreds of stores even traveled out of state in hopes to find my vision of my dress with no luck. Time was running out and I couldn’t order a dress anymore I only had time to buy off rack. June 6th 2021 I found Fifi! The first dress she had me try on was the dress I bought! I’m telling you Fifi is my fairy godmother and her daughter is my Angel! If I could give more stars I would!

Fifi responded right away, made me appointment for the next day, and didn’t make me feel awful for waiting so long. Fifi is kind, hilarious, honest, and does whatever it takes to make her clients happy. She managed to add a bustle, fix my sleeves, and shorten the length of the dress in 4 days. I felt more confident in the dress after seeing all the changes and I was just so blessed that Fifi took personal time to work on my dress. Her shop is gorgeous (I wish I had gone there to look at the wedding dress selection as well) and it’s amazing the variety of garments she does alterations on. Pricing is incredibly fair and you are going to get the most amazing service. I can’t recommend her enough and I look forward to going back in the future.

ip. Before my daughter’s wedding was over she altered my daughter’s Couture Martina Liana gown, my Mac Dougal gown and my husband’s three piece suit. All were flawless. As we all know weddings in general are stressful. A once postponed, rebooked pandemic wedding as too many brides now have experienced, add extra stress but Fifi together with her daughter Amanda set our worries at ease…did several fittings, pressed the gowns, all ready for pickup in time for the big event with a professional yet personal touch. were they so kind, professional and knowledgeable but a joy to work with and my dress was absolutely perfect. But my biggest compliment to Fifis is how they handled the pandemic. As a Covid bride, I had taken my dress in at the beginning of March 2020 for my early June wedding, my 2nd fitting was the end of March after the pandemic had begun and we had to sadly postpone our wedding to May of 2021. When I asked what I should do, Fifi said no worries, just leave it with us and we will adjust again a year from now. As a bride whose whole world had turned upside down, that was a bit nerve racking but there was no reason to doubt, because they took great care of my dress and had me fitted perfectly for my wedding day!
