From the moment we met, my now-husband and I knew Jeanine was the creative mastermind we needed to make our slightly spooky Halloween meets elegant dream wedding a reality. We knew...
what we wanted for our October 2023 wedding, but Jeanine took our half-baked ideas and transformed them into something truly special, perfectly reflecting our style.
Jeanine’s talents don’t stop at design. She has her eye on all the small details that make up such a big day. Unlike some companies, Jeanine does not limit how much or how often you can talk to her when you’re planning—whether it was a 2 AM panic text about napkin colors or a last-minute question about our seating chart—Jeanine was there, ready to calm my nerves, letting me know that she had it covered.
Her personality meant she handled every differing view (a.k.a. our very opinionated families) with grace, never losing sight of what mattered most: us enjoying the day of our dreams. With her extensive industry connections, she knew exactly where to find the best vendors, whether they were the big names or hidden gems that fit our vibe and budget perfectly. Most of all, she truly listens to what you want for your day, no matter what tradition dictates. “Everyone does it this way” is simply not in this woman’s vocabulary and it’s part of what makes her events so memorable!
Hiring Jeanine was such a valuable investment in our wedding. It’s hard to enjoy your day when you're busy worrying about whether the centerpieces are straight. Let Jeanine and the Fifty Shades team do that for you – #hiretheplanner!
Jeanine Z is the best wedding planner out there! She pays attention to all the details specific to you and your wedding party. She went out of her way to make sure to include all t...
he things that mattered to me to make my day great! She’s non traditional in the sense that her primary concern is doing things YOUR way and she advocates for you to bring your ideas to fruition. Book her if you are looking to have the wedding of your dreams 🥰💚
My husband and I had our fabulous wedding in July 2022. I had actually hired Jeanine over 2 years earlier because of course, COVID. My wedding was pushed back from 9/6/2020 to 5/16...
/2021 and finally 7/16/22 . Although we did get legally married in 2020, Jeanine was instrumental in scheduling and rescheduling the wedding and all our vendors again and again. I am so grateful I chose her.
After reaching out to and interviewing multiple wedding planners when I got engaged back in March 2019, I ended up choosing Jeanine right away because of her promptness in responding to my request for more info. Jeanine is very quick to reply over text/phone/email. Even when I was traveling abroad and needed to coordinate invitations, we talked despite the time difference! I am very OCD, so any concerns I had, she addressed right away.
I hired Jeanine for full-service wedding planning and despite the 2 years of planning, I adored the designs and ideas we ultimately came up with. My wedding vision could not have been executed without her.
Jeanine is also SUPER THOROUGH reading contracts and she will FIGHT for what you deserve. Throughout COVID, much in vendor management changed and also inflation significantly affected things - but Jeanine really made sure we are getting what we were promised and that vendors did not price gouge our eyes out.
My husband and I are so grateful to have worked with Jeanine, and bonus points for keeping me sane during all the planning and re-planning for over 2 years with the pandemic. At this point, we consider her a friend because of all that we've gone through together. I hope we will get to plan another fabulous party again!!!
There are not enough words in the dictionary to explain how wonderful it was working with Jeanine at Fifty Shades of Planning. I knew it would be a perfect fit when during our firs...
t meeting she said she wanted us to feel like guests at our own wedding and she DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We ended up hiring her for our rehearsal dinner as well!! She truly encompasses what it means to be an intuitive, creative, CARING wedding planner and I didn’t have to lift a finger during the entire event. Just when I thought I had things like decor, and overall theme of our wedding covered (I did not have things covered at ALL lol ), she seamlessly fixed whatever issue presented itself and created a BEAUTIFUL, timeless, weekend for us. I loved how she not only made ME feel special but she made my husband feel special and included as well which was so awesome because the grooms are usually put on the back burner lol We were hesitant to ‘spend the money’ on a wedding planner because we thought we could handle everything….well let me tell you…along with the food and music as usually being the couples priorities…HIRING THE WEDDING PLANNER should be as well!! I cannot even imagine what my wedding would have been without Jeanine and her team. But because of them it was nothing short of being perfect. It truly was a pleasure working with her and if you, as the bride, want to feel special, important, and like a celebrity on your wedding day….hiring Fifty Shades is the way to go. One of the best investments we made. Thank you Jeanine for EVERYTHING you have done for Ed & I. You were instrumental on our wedding day and I’m so happy you will forever be part of our memories <3 #hiretheplanner
We hired Fifty Shades of Planning for day of services and some jazzy extras. If I could give a rating more than 5 stars I absolutely would. From the start Jeanine noticed communica...
tion was my biggest thing. She was constantly in communication with updates on products we purchased and any design elements. If you hire Jeanine you are also hiring her personality. Her personality is unmatched and comes through with everything she designs. Bringing a fun but, extremely elegant vibe. From giving us ideas for the ceremony, reception, and love lock place card moment it was a one of a kind experience. From seeing behind the scene clips on her instagram page, you know each wedding she does is one of a kind. I have yet to see anything repeated. Which in the wedding industry (from a brides pov) can seem like a hard task, but speaks volumes to the creativity she brings to the table. Jeanine was an integral part to our wedding day. As much as we loved our vendors, the Fifty Shades of Planning was by far our favorite vendor. Everyone in our wedding party loved Jeanine as much as we did. I will always recommend the Fifty Shades of Planning team.
Jeanine is such a creative mind and covers every little detail! My now husband and I hired her for our September 2023 wedding for day of coordinating and design. She is very afford...
able and offers wayyyyyy more than most planners. There is no limit on the communication at all which is a great plus. She was extremely impressive but especially when it comes to design. She took our very small ideas and created the most beautiful wedding for us! Our guests were soooo impressed with the atmosphere that she created I am still hearing compliments today. When we had our first design meeting after speaking about what we were looking for she presented all of her thoughts. She labeled our design "Soft country glam with a sophisticated down home feel" and let me tell you, it was everything!!! It was far from the typical mason jars and woods you would get with a "country" feel.
Her ideas took things to the next level! She literally busted her butt the day of getting everything into place with her team and brought our dreams to life. I can honestly say that if you are not hiring Jeanine, you are completely missing out on the wedding of your dreams!!!!!!!
We hired Jeanine for Day of Coordination and Full Scale Design Planning and I'm not sure what I would have done without her help. As someone who (like most brides/people getting ma...
rried) had no idea how to plan a wedding, design a wedding, do ANYTHING wedding related, and having Jeanine's expertise, guidance, creativity, patience and ETHUSIASUM at my disposal was incredible invaluable. Jeanine was able to take all of the muddled and crazy ideas I had in my head, and turn them into an actual dream come true. From her exquisite attention to detail, to her willingness to brainstorm with me on ANYYTHING and everything to the tenacity she displayed in making something that I thought could be absolutely impossible POSSIBLE - worth every penny. I remember feeling such an unusual sense of calm the morning of my wedding and knew it was because I fully trusted Jeanine and her team to execute and create the wedding of my dreams. Seriously, if you are hosting a momentous event and you find yourself in doubt, or aren't sure where to start, what to do, where to turn to, HIRE THE PLANNER! And make sure it's Fifty Shades of Planning!!!! Thank you Jeanine from the bottom of our hearts for curating the wedding of our rock n' roll, disco glam dreams <3 \m/ ~*~

ut of my comfort zone and jazz things up which I would never think of. I knew what I wanted but did not know how to execute it and Jeanine helped me every step of the way with the design planning. Every little detail and design on our day was absolutely beautiful and speechless. Our guests literally could not stop talking about how different and gorgeous the night was. Fifty Shades of Planning gave me the wedding of my dreams and then some! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the FABULOUS work!!!!

y my daughter and her fiance's vision were Jeanine's priority. She made herself available at all times to both me and the couple. By the time we met for our final walk through I felt like she was a part of the family. Although we hired Jeanine for Day of Coordination we added design assist at the end which turned out AMAZING. Fifty Shades of Planning's Ala Carte option was one of many reasons that led to our choice. I loved how Jeanine took an idea and ran with it to make it work. She never said "that can't be done". She was an advocate for my daughter and a friend.
The wedding was an absolute dream, I was able to relax and enjoy the day knowing Jeanine was there to manage the timeline, organize all the vendors, pick up and deliver food for the morning of and problem solve.
I only have one regret- I wish we hired her for Full Service!!!
HIRE the PLANNER - it's so worth it!!!
We hired Jeanine for Day of Coordination for our wedding and she is the BEST! We were first drawn by her amazing website and love for champagne, but her enthusiastic personality r...
eeled us in! We loved how each of the services that she provides were clearly laid out and we had an option to add on more services for the weekend if we needed. She was transparent, professional, and always available for a text or call when we needed her. Jeanine is always on board to make each of her weddings unique and personal to the couples she works with. Most importantly, she advocated for us when other vendors wanted to stick with "whats always been done", instead of thinking outside the box. She organized an amazing timeline for the day and reached out to all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page with how we wanted the day to run. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to think about a thing! She had everything covered and was running around all day to make sure the day was exactly how we pictured. She even surprised us by adding extra touches to our signage and decorations to make sure it was unique and personal. If you want someone that's professional, enthusiastic, hard-working, and a great advocate to ensure your event is personalized to how you want it, hire Fifty Shades of Planning!
We hired Fifty Shades of Planning for the Particle Service package and she was perfect! Jeanine customized the package for us to really fit our needs we were able to a la cart it. ...
She was great with communicating with us and our vendors before the wedding. (really so quick at responding!) . She is so much more than just a planner! The attention to detail and her design work for our wedding made it so dreamy for us to walk into. She helped us negotiate changes in some of our contracts with other vendors. Offered support during our video filming. really made the whole wedding planning easy. The day of we didn't worry about anything and just spent the limited time we had with friends and family and enjoyed ourselves.

edding party and families didn't have to stress about anything running smoothly so we could just enjoy the day. She was also capturing fun and candid videos and pictures throughout the day which have been so great to have since the professional footage won't be available for another few weeks. Would highly recommend!!
I hired Fifty Shades of Planning for my wedding weekend and it was the best decision I made in the planning process. I had most of my vendors hired already and Fifty Shades worked ...
through every detail with us. They thought of EVERYTHING and WORKED the entire weekend (Welcome Party, Wedding, Post-Wedding Brunch). As someone who works in Hospitality, I was so impressed. The execution of each event was seamless.
I reached out to Fifty Shades of Planning to see if they do surprise parties and they do. I used there services for my sister's 40th surprise birthday party. Everything was beyond...
my exceptions. Fifty shades delivered! From real plants to an amazing bar set up pool side. We had a chef prep the entire dinner. My sister and family were blow away with the details of everything. Even though it rained during set up and a little in the beginning of the party, Fifty Shades kept me calm as I was stressed out. I so happy I hired the planner.

ls that made our wedding special, memorable and a true reflection of us. I had peace of mind on our wedding day and didn’t have to worry about anything. I really can’t say enough good things about Jeanine. My only regret about hiring her was that we didn’t do it sooner.
