My now husband and I originally hired Sarah to do the day-of coordination for our wedding as well as to help us with design inspiration. I thought she would just give us some tips ...
and answer questions about the design, but she went above and beyond! She proposed color schemes, vendors for flowers, calligraphy, and more (even contacted them for us), sourced decor for us, visited a flower market with us to get floral inspiration, and more. Her style was so perfectly matched to the day that we envisioned, in fact she had ideas that were even better than ours; in the end our exchanges and collaboration elevated the look and feel of our wedding. It was all way beyond what we expected of her, and on top of that our day went by like a breeze. As the bride I didn't have to worry about a thing, we just dropped our decor off with Sarah and she and the venue team took care of the rest while I sipped mimosas and got dressed. Periodically throughout the day/night she'd tell me and my husband where to go next and then let us enjoy ourselves. Every once in a while I'd notice her watching over everything and knew the evening would be handled just fine. She and her team helped us pack up everything at the end of the night and the wedding was a wrap! My only negative thought was that the day went by too quickly. Sarah definitely has a gift for putting together a beautiful day and, even better, she seems to genuinely enjoy the job. Thank you Sarah! XOXO

espite the circumstances, Sarah kept in close touch and was extremely accomodating, helping us stay calm and get through the steps of booking our new venue in a matter of hours.
She has a fantastic sense of style, providing recommendations for how to make the most of our venue both visually and for the flow of the wedding. After our venue change, she seamlessly blended the decorations we had purchased with the new space.
During the wedding, Sarah calmly and confidently guided us through the steps and gathered the wedding party for each stage, so that we never had to worry about anything.
All this was done by her coming up to each person individually and letting them know what was going on, which made the wedding flow that much better for the guests.
Her team quickly and cleanly set up everything, and broke it down just as well once it was time to leave.
We could not be happier with Fig & Whiskey, and anybody having a wedding, natural disaster or not, should hire them.

to a new venue at the last minute due to a wildfire at their original wedding site. Of course, there were challenges inherent in that, but Sarah pulled off a seamless event. Plus, she made sure we, the photographers, had everything we needed to deliver the best photos possible. I would highly recommend her to any of my future clients.

nterfered with my experience at my wedding. She appeared irritable and stressed at our wedding. Her staff member canceled last minute and she brought her husband to work. Her husband is not in the line of wedding coordination, and my guest noticed that they were not working well together. Asking her questions and speaking with her the day before and day-of the wedding felt like she was bothered and inconvinived. She was not reassuring and I definitely did not feel like she gave her undivided attention to my wedding from the rehearsal to the day of the wedding. I purchased the “DIY” package, meaning we paid an additional fee to provide her with our own items for our wedding. When I gave her the stuff, she was rushed, overwhelmed, and did not have a system in place to account for the items and where they would go. She was rude to me in front of my wedding party on multiple occasions, as my wedding party noticed and brought it to my attention. I can go on and on, but the gist of it is, save yourself the headache and disappointment. Don’t be fooled by her nice website- as I was. If you want to enjoy your wedding, go with a more seasoned, professional, and talented Day-Of coordinator and business.
