Specializing in day-of coordination, owner MarLea Finch is happy to travel near or far for your special occasion. She can organize any type of event you desire, including wedding showers, corporate functions, birthday parties, and more.
MarLea accidentally stumbled into event planning and has found a niche for herself. Her journey began when she coordinated her friend's wedding as a gift, only for one of the bridesmaids to ask her to organizer her nuptials the following year. From there, one thing led to another, and MarLea decided to start her own business. She hopes someday to even own her own wedding venue.
Finch Events offers day-of and reception-only packages. These come with consultations ahead of the festivities, basic decorating, point of contact for all vendors, distribution of final payments, and more. MarLea can also add other services upon request, including total breakdown and cleanup, so that you can relax and not worry about a thing.

Wow, our wedding day would have not been so smooth and perfect without MarLea. I wanted to hire a day-of coordinator so my mom and I could relax and enjoy the day and MarLea was the perfect choice. I did not have to make a single decision or fix a single problem all day. She made our space look beautiful, and was professional and joyful while doing it! She even chased down a loud go cart and dog during the ceremony for us! Absolutely recommend MarLea!!!
We cannot say enough about how wonderful MarLea was on our wedding day. She took care of everything and we truly got to enjoy the day. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place and the day ran smoothly. She can handle everything and anything. Seriously, hire her for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!!!

MarLea was AMAZING! We hired her for Day of Coordination and she met with us at the rehearsal to get a grasp of the timeline and set up. After that, she was on top of everything! I never had to worry about if something was getting done, or where I had to be. I said multiple times throughout the day, "MarLea's probably got it" and indeed she did! Even things that we didnt think to plan, MarLea used her expertise to make wonderful decisions that fit our wedding so well! She also worked so well with our family members and friends who were there to help! We loved working with her for even just a couple of days, so I can't imagine how great she would be for full planning! We love you MarLea!

I could write a thousand words about how amazing MarLea was but none of them would be enough! She made sure that our wedding day was seamless. She took care of everything and made sure that every detail was stress free not only for us but for our families as well. A lot happens during a wedding but on top of everything else, she looks after you as well. She will make sure you eat, she will make sure you have time to decompress if you need it, and she will send you home with a to go plate from your caterers so that you have a late night snack. Those little things are so appreciated and incredibly thoughtful.
MarLea will make sure that the day you have worked so hard planning will be the day of your dreams. Her calmness, kindness, and attention to detail can't be matched!

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration was executed with style, elegance, calmness and personal sensitivity, largely because we were blessed to have MarLea FINCH's expertise, as a part of our vendors' team. Her attention to details, patience and stellar professionalism became immediately apparent. After about a 10 minute telephone conversation, my husband and I immediately agreed that we should secure her services. Thank you Ms. FINCH for all you did to make certain that our celebration was "FABULOUS" in every way.

MarLea is no lie the most amazing wedding coordinator! We were doing a small destination wedding (people from Texas, Ohio, Florida, California and Canada) and she made our day perfect. Our wedding we told MarLea to use her creative talents and help make the day perfect. She had free reign and made it so beautiful and amazing. I cant even say enough positive about her!! We showed her colors, ideas and pinterest concepts and she hit it dead on! MarLea went above and beyond for us!! Her communication, hard work, dedication, support and love was excellent! My family still to this day says how she made it perfect and asks how she is (she has become family to us). I promise you will love MarLea!
MarLea is amazing!!! She regularly kept in contact with me in the time leading up to our wedding, did a walk-through of the venue with me and our DJ, did a quick rehearsal with all the bridal party, and was overall super reassuring! I was a little worried about the tight timeline of when our venue would let set-up start, but MarLea and her assistants were totally on top of it and everything was ready on time. She knew exactly what she was doing! The decorations turned out better than I had imagined and the whole day really did feel perfect! I genuinely felt worry-free and chill all day, and I think MarLea was a huge part of that. Her rates are very reasonable, and I highly recommend booking her for any of your event coordinating needs. Marlea Barry professional and she goes above, and beyond what is required of her. She can run across the bridge but she did to get there when I told the Pastor but they don’t listen.
She didn’t forget any details that I wanted for the reception decors and she was exceptional at doing last minute things. I would recommend her for the day of coordinator because she is very experienced, and she made our day very successful.
MarLea was a gift from HEAVEN for our wedding. Punctual, efficient, organized, pleasant, helpful, and on top of EVERYTHING!!! Made my day carefree and I would recommend her a million times over!

Marlea did an amazing job coordinating our wedding. She made our big day run so smoothly leaving us to enjoy our day and not think about any of the details! I’m so glad to have had her on my wedding day. She helped make the day go smoothly. I planned everything prior to the big day and my venue did the chair and table setup so at first I wasn’t sure that I needed a day of coordinator /planner, but I am so glad that I did. I realized the week before the wedding how many things had to be taken care of by someone other than the bride on the day of the wedding such as coordinating vendor arrival, payments, keeping groom and bride separate but on time for pre wedding pictures, keeping the timeline running smoothly, arranging items on chairs like programs, putting favors on dinner plates, etc. She was a delight to work with. Appreciate her having calls with me before the day and running logistics the day of! Can’t imagine what the day would have been look like without her in my corner. Thank you MarLea!
MarLeah was absolutely amazing! She was our Day Of Coordinator and went above and beyond to help make my daughter's wedding perfect. She stayed in contact with me leading up to the wedding day. She met with the venues ahead of time with me and was willing to help with details. MarLeah was so organized and pleasant to work with. We all had such fun with her as she kept us on time and where we needed to be. I honestly can't say enough good things about her!!

MarLea was the key to making the wedding a complete success for our friends and family.
She was very responsive to questions and concerns. She brought excellent insight and advice while leaving all decisions to bride and making sure the wedding came off exactly as the bride wanted it to be. Her help never conflicted w/ bride's vision. It was her absolute desire to help bride make the day exactly as she wanted and to facilitate that in every way. She nailed it.
Day of - she was the first at the venue - already hard at work when we arrived. She was the last to leave - coordinating all the cleaning and making sure that all rental returns had been coordinated w/ us so that we didn't forget anything.
She worked tirelessly to make our day easy and beautiful. I have zero doubts that it was her work that allowed us to enjoy the wedding fully - with no stress.
I recommend her to everyone!
