I just saw the pictures from my daughters wedding and of course my first priority was that my daughter and now SIL were happy with the results which they were over the top pleased with, so now I can say how extremely impressed I am with the results. Chelsea not only captured so many great moments but she was able to capture and express the emotion of that moment thru the picture. Her attention to detail was incredible. Her fun and energetic and calm demeanor are so well suited for a wedding event. If your daughter is looking for someone to capture the memories and emotions of their wedding and have them last their lifetime then I would highly recommend to connect with Chelsea.

Chelsea is nothing short of amazing. Her work speaks for itself. She is beyond talented, and an overall amazing person. Her business represents so many positive things, and truly finds the light. She has been apart of some of my family’s greatest moments — from our engagement, to our daughters maternity pictures, and finally our wedding (after a long COVID delay). From the start, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable - I think he may have even enjoyed taking pictures more than me 😉 When we finally got to celebrate our marriage, it was pouring the entire morning, but Chelsea spotted some blue skies and pushed for our outdoor ceremony. Call it intuition, the weather cleared up and we were able to have the most beautiful ceremony! Needless to say, she went above and beyond to capture amazing pictures and to help us have the wedding of our dreams. Looking back on all of the moments she has captured makes me so grateful Chelsea is apart of my family’s life. If you’re wondering if you should book her, the answer is yes. 100%. Like yesterday.

Not a wedding review but worth it to post to knot! I have so many wonderful things to say about Chelsea. Her professionalism, fun personality, sense of humor, TALENT, and attention to detail were so evident during our newborn photo shoot. I was nervous for how it was gonna go between breastfeeding, baby crying, dog barking, etc and she made it SO easy. I seriously just want to be her best friend haha. The photos she gave us were so beautiful I will cherish them for the rest of my life. I love that you get a whole online album of hundreds of photos all edited, no having to pick 10 of your favorites and buy the rest! Thank you Chelsea, I can’t wait for the many family photo sessions you will definitely be doing for us in the future!

How do I even start with Chelsea?! When I started researching photographers and came across her website, I was sold on her. She talks about her photography style which she describes as “chill luxury”; capturing bridesmaids shotgunning beers before walking down the aisle and the teary-eyed sentimental moments as well. I wanted Chelsea to be my best friend over anything else. And then I saw her photos and that was it, I needed her in my life and at my wedding. We settled on the wedding package that included the mini engagement session. The mini session was perfect because it lasted about 45 minutes and we got the best pictures all while getting to know Chelsea. Then when the wedding came, we were so psyched to see her again! Chelsea so effortlessly fit in with our bridal party like she was one of our besties which made everyone smile and laugh without being forced and having those terrified looks on their faces. She also handled our families like a total pro, which they even commented on how well she was able to put up with them and keep them in line. Our wedding pictures turned out exactly how we wanted and even better than expected; light, bright, fun, and capturing every detail from every angle. There was so much planning that went into our wedding and I’m so glad she was able to capture all of the details that I didn’t get a chance to see the night of. Chelsea knew what cues to give us, how to pose us, but most of all she let us be us and photographed just that. We couldn’t have asked for anything or anyone better!

Words cannot express my gratitude for Chelsea and her amazing work! I may be biased since I have known Chels since our college days, but she is hands down one of the best photographers in the game. She has shot a lot of our friends' weddings and I could not wait to have her capture mine. Booking Chelsea was easily the BEST decision we made. Not only did she capture the whole day perfectly, but she was also fun and calming to be around. We’re OBSESSED with our gallery and truly feel like we are reliving the day when we go through it, which is such a gift. We had to replan our wedding when covid hit and Chelsea was amazing throughout the entire planning/rescheduling process. We ended up getting married in my parent’s backyard in Massachusetts (my childhood home) and Chelsea went above and beyond to turn it into such an incredible backdrop. She is a true creative with such a passion for what she does and it really comes across in her work. Where do I even begin? Kevin and I tied the knot on November 20, 2020 in Islamorada, Florida Keys and hiring Chelsea as our photographer was the BEST decision of the entire process! From the moment we got connected, Chelsea made it SO easy and was so transparent with us from the start. Our friends and family still talk about her and how awesome and friendly she was from beginning to end. Chels was so accommodating with what we wanted ESP. planning a wedding during Covid. IMO, Photography is the MOST important vendor you could book throughout the entire wedding process and we knew exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t want and we KNEW early on that Chelsea was it for us! We booked her for our engagement shoot which we are SO happy we did because we had a feel of how she works (highly rec to hire her for both) this was our first time really taking professional pictures and Chelsea helped us pose, made us laugh, and helped take the edge off of feeling awkward. ALL the shots came out so natural. Her lifestyle, candid shots are my absolute fave and she makes you feel so comfortable through it all. For as long as weddings exist I will forever recommend Chelsea I cannot express in enough words how much I appreciate every.single.photo that she took. I’ve known Chels for a little around 10 years through friends and Finding Light has got to be the most accurate brand name to brand owner representation. She truly is a light in this world. She is easily one of the easiest people to get along with. I promise you that after 10 minutes with her on your wedding day she will feel like a friend. But if you are lucky enough to know her already or to have her shoot your engagement photos I highly recommend it. Of all the vendors to have a relationship with my husband and I have agreed that your photographer has got to be the one that it is so important to know. So please jsut email her! Ask about her availability (and quick because everyone snags her) just get to know her through text or email and follow her Instagram! My husband and I cried when we got our engagement photos and just the same when we got our wedding photos. She is an artist through and through! she’s got such an incredible way of capturing the moment. She also gets the good posed shots but it’s everything in between that she gets and those are the photos you’re going to love the most and that bring you back to that day. Sometimes you create memories based off of photos but with Chelsea it’s like you’re actually transported back in time! The photos are warm and loving but also fun and punchy! They’re a cup of coffee with Baileys. Except you didn’t know about the Baileys. But you’re definitely not mad at it. Her photos are that warm fuzzy feeling of pure bliss you get JUST before you wake up from a really great dream. She texted me after I got engaged and said she had to shoot my wedding and honestly got so flustered at the thought! I planned everything around her availability. From the venue to all my other vendors even. Sadly with Corona we could not get married at our original location in the keys and I swear to you that Chelsea was the ONLY person that could calm me during such an insane roller coaster. She is calm and hopeful and resourceful and such an angel in all situations! She’s professional and so organized but in a way that flows so seamlessly and not bossy in the slightest! if you’re off track I guarantee she’ll make sure your 10 min ahead of time! She makes sure you get all the shots you could possibly ever dream of but also lets you experience and enjoy your day! I was truly bummed when she left! not that 8 hours wasn’t enough for photos but she’s that awesome of a person that you jsut want her around! Where do I begin with Chelsea... first off she is just the most talented photographer ever!! Her photos are just flawless!! We had our engagement shoot first and me and John were a little nervous bc we had no clue what we were doing and she literally guided us every step of the way!! She makes you feel so comfortable!! It’s hard to know where to even begin...Chelsea was the first vendor we booked for a reason. We chose to add an engagement shoot and I’m SO happy we did. It was one of the most fun and relaxed experiences and that’s coming from someone who’s usually awkward in front of the camera. The photos turned out beyond anything we could’ve expected. On our wedding day, the moment she arrived I felt instantly relaxed because I knew I was in the best hands. What makes Chelsea’s pictures stand out is that she FEELS the moments and emotions you experience on your wedding day and captures every single one. We received our sneak peaks TWO DAYS after our wedding and each picture took us back to that exact moment. She literally freezes the best memories of your life in the most beautiful way. We had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, but that didn’t stop her from finding a window to take those incredible outdoor lighting shots she’s known for. Chelsea’s also extremely efficient. After our ceremony, my now husband and I enjoyed all of cocktail hour since we already finished all of the bridal party/family photos. Beyond being professional, she’s the most chill, down-to-earth person! Best decision was having Chelsea capture our big day!!

Perfect photographer and real life hero! As soon as we booked our venue at the Marriott Key Largo, Chelsea/Finding Light was the next vendor we booked. We loved her shooting style, personality and approach to weddings. Initially, she was more than we were looking to spend, but after consulting with some other friends who have broken into the photography business, they assured us that for her skill level and approach we were striking gold! Our mini engagement session with her was so fun and provided an amazing opportunity to get to know her. When she came for the wedding it was like one of my friends a was coming by! She shoots so naturally and captures everything so beautifully. I can not imagine having anyone else capture such a perfect weekend. She is organized, cool, calm and composed under pressure manages all sorts of people beautifully. She was especially helpful in making sure we got all the little details and moments captured. We cannot wait to treasure her photos for a lifetime and for generations to come!

I’m not even sure where to start.... our experience with Finding Light Photography/ Chelsea is one beyond my wildest dreams. For one person to have so much talent is just insane but to be talented AND be just an absolutely amazing person/ business owner, I’m not sure there’s a word that describes the insane pleasure it was to work with Chelsea. I get overwhelmed with emotion every time I see my engagement and wedding photos. She knew exactly where to have us stand and what silly things to say to make us feel comfortable. Our wedding day was so smooth in large part because of Chelsea and her professionalism. My friends and family laugh because all morning on my wedding day I was excited and didn’t cry at all. I really didn’t cry very much all day but just couldn’t stop smiling (my cheeks hurt the next day). BUTTTT as soon as Chelsea walked into my dressing room I started crying. 1. Because I knew it was seriously happening but 2. Mostly because I just love her so much and knew I’d be well taken care of. I recently went to dinner with friends and our waitress asked us what time it was. I clicked my phones home button and showed her the time and she asked “Is that a finding light photography photo?! I’m not even engaged and I know I’ll be booking them when I find the right guy.” NO LIE! Someone recognized that Chelsea was my photographer. If her photos don’t speak volumes themselves, the fact that random people can recognize who took your photos is incredible. Needless to say, I’ll be using Chelsea and only Chelsea for the rest of my life to capture all the important moments because a picture truly says a thousand words and my photos don’t even look like real life because of the insane quality. So future brides and all others looking for a photography Goddess... Chelsea is your girl, Finding Light truly means what it states, and if she asks you to stand under a weird tree or in a shady spot that’s sketchy and doesn’t feel like it’ll make for a great photo just shut up and do it! Cannot rave enough!

Our favorite vendor, hands down!!!! I actually found Chelsea on Instagram before I even got engaged and knew when the day came, I had to hire her no matter what. Chelsea was amazing from start to finish. She answered all my questions and kept me at ease throughout the whole process. We did our engagement shoot with her to get comfortable, and I surprised my hubby with a boudoir shoot. She made our wedding day run SO smoothly. Even my bridesmaids made comments about how on top of her game and awesome our photographer was. We couldn’t have agreed more. She sent us 50+ “sneak peak” pictures in less than 48 hours of our wedding. These were a small glimpse into the gallery we’d soon be getting, but they made me tear up while also smiling ear to ear as I relived the best day ever. Her pictures speak for themselves. Chelsea is absolutely amazing at what she does. She truly captured the things that were most important to us and everything turned out beautiful! She is worth every dime - from her calming, fun demeanor to her stunning pictures!!!! There are really no words. We could never say thank you enough to her for making our memories so great!

Photography is always a huge decision when it comes to weddings and Chelsea was the best decision I could have made! She is so amazing at her art, and will make you feel so relaxed when taking photos. The best part... she is so efficient, you won’t be spending you’re whole wedding taking photos.... you get to enjoy your special day and still get the most beautiful photos to remember it with! From our engagement session to our the day of our wedding, Chelsea was nothing short of incredible. I really and truly cannot say enough good things about her... We truly felt it was a dream come true to have Chelsea as our wedding day photographer! We had an intimate ceremony on the beach with a reception following. I didn’t worry about a single thing from the moment Chelsea arrived! She even helped drive my sister and I to our ceremony location! Chelsea is so incredibly gifted and her experience and expertise are priceless in my opinion! She made us feel like rockstars and look naturally fabulous while also capturing everyone’s personality. We are in love with EVERY picture and are so grateful!

WOW! All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! Chelsea was the perfect fit for our wedding, and it honestly felt like having a friend around all day rather than someone taking pictures. She went above and beyond, and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. (She even got my husband a towel bc he was sweating so much Haha!) She was so accommodating of our tight schedule we had and made really valuable suggestions to get all of the shots we wanted and still be able to enjoy the party. After the more formal photos, I didn't even notice her snapping away the rest of the night. She did such a good job of capturing all of the important moments without being intrusive or too formal. We got our sneak peak photos less than a week after the wedding, and I was blown away. I felt more emotional looking at the photos than I did on the actual wedding day! They are stunning, and all of our guests were frothing over the pictures. I can't say thank you enough!!

Chelsea was our very first vendor booked because we KNEW we didn't want anyone else to capture our biggest day and now all of our future big days! I've known Chelsea since high school so it was incredibly special to me to have someone who knows me so well to shoot our wedding. From the first photoshoot - our engagement session - Chelsea made us feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera! She made the whole session so much fun and our pictures were beautiful. Shoot #2 (for me) was a boudoir. I was extremely nervous but there's no one else I would have trusted to do such an amazing job! && Finally our wedding day... HOLY COW CHELSEA IS A GODDESS. She captured every moment we wanted and then some. We haven't gotten our full gallery yet but I've already cried at our sneak peaks multiple times. Chelsea is truly a magician and we are so lucky to not only have her as our photographer, but friend as well. Aside from her genius eye and creative editing, her personality is one you always want around you. I can not brag enough about Finding Light Photography and Chelsea! She was my favorite vendor of my whole wedding experience. She was so amazing and made my husband and I feel so comfortable with her from day one. She not only is a great photographer, but offered to help fix my train throughout the night, helped the flow of my entire evening and let me borrow some of her toiletries during my reception!! My engagement and wedding photos are absolutely stunning and I can’t recommend her to enough to my friends!!!! Chelsea is AMAZING! I would recommend her to every single bride out there. She basically made my day the best it could be and will allow me to relive it everyday. When we were searching for our photographer, it was important that the person we chose felt like a guest at our wedding and not like a stranger! After reading Chelsea's bio, I knew she was the right person to hire. She felt like a good friend & little did we know how incredible she really would be. Throughout our special day, there were so many little moments that I thought to myself, "I really hope our photographer caught this!" I literally think she captured ALL of those moments. She made us all look like supermodels. What I really appreciated about her work is the opportunity she gave us to make a list of all the people we wanted to take pictures with. We would have been so overwhelmed and would have forgotten to take certain pictures had she not organized this. Chelsea is not just a photographer, she creates masterpieces. I'd recommend hiring her asap because she gets booked pretty fast (which is no surprise). Couldn't be more happy with our decision.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review so I will just jump in with the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE we could have ever asked for. Obviously, your wedding day and the days leading up to it are extremely stressful and basically a big blur so the last thing my husband and I wanted to worry about was if our pictures were going to look good. We were also both in agreement that we didn’t want our wedding to be revolved around taking pictures and more so just having a great time. Well, Chelsea could not have been a better person to be our photographer. She was so professional yet still so much fun. She took control by knowing and understanding what we wanted in parallel to what she knew would photograph well and ultimately make us happy. I was so impressed how she came in and knew exactly what she needed before we ran off to the ceremony. Chelsea also worked extremely well with our videographers in directing them and letting them know what she (and they) needed to get the best shots. She was so creative and has an amazing eye. We were walking to the reception and she saw a cool building and asked if we could stop to get a few shots, which turned out to be some of our favorites! I am so glad I fully put all of my trust in Chelsea’s hands. She absolutely knows what she is doing and is a pleasure to work with. Multiple people in my bridal party told me how much they loved her and how they want to use her in their own weddings. I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention Chelsea’s second shooter, Emily. My husband and his groomsmen said she was so great to work with and helped make them feel super comfortable (shocking, especially for these guys who can’t stay still to take one picture). I can go on and on about our experience but I will just leave you with this: if you are looking for a photographer who is extremely talented, professional, positive and all around amazing; stop right now. You’ve found her.

Where do we even begin?! Chelsea is soo warm and friendly and made our entire wedding process so easy and exciting! We booked our package that came with a mini engagement shoot which we were definitely nervous for since we’ve never had professional photos done before. She loosened us up within five minutes and was telling us the most hilarious things to do to make us laugh. We had such an amazing time and the photos came out INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. We literally said to each other this is not even us, how did she make us look this good?! So we were thrilled to say the least!! We were so excited for the wedding photos and BOY OH BOY she did not disappoint! We were almost crying when we saw them because they honestly look like they came out of a fairytale. She has such an eye for capturing creative photos and edits then with such a beautiful warm tone that is so dreamy! Not only is she so fun to be around and made our whole bridal party at ease but she is seriously AMAZING. The best photographer I have ever met and we are so happy that she captured everything we could have wanted. We honestly cannot say enough good things about her, you just HAVE to book with her. We can’t wait until we have a baby for more photoshoots!!

I don’t even know where to start with how talented and amazing Chelsea is. The best way I can put it into words is she captures every emotion and aspect of the best day of your life. Works her magic with editing like no other photographer I have ever seen and hits you with a gallery that will have you balling. Working with her on the day of is so laid back and warming! Chelsea is such a joy to work with! She is super kind and compassionate and you can tell that she has such a love for her work. Chelsea Gould is the owner-operator of Finding Light Photography and her talent is bar none. I was struggling to find a photographer that I loved both personally and their work. Then I spoke with Chelsea and immediately told my then-fiancé that we were BFFs. Chelsea's work speaks for itself she is so talented I swear my pictures are better than it was in real life. I will treasure them forever. Chelsea and I planned our weddings together as she got married 2 weeks before me and are now best friends. She puts so much heart into her work that I can honestly say we are now IRL friends and I'm sure many of her clients feel the same way. She will photograph anything and everything I ever do from now on. I mostly just wish she could follow me around all the time and take gorgeous pictures. My obsession is real.

Chelsea is amazing! She photographed my sister's wedding and now mine. She is so easy and fun to work with she makes the day and all the pictures stress-free. We decided to do a grand exit and last minute Chelsea offered to stay to make sure to capture the event. Her photography skills are amazing. Seriously cannot gush enough about how much we loved Chelsea! She managed to catch every second of our special day so perfectly. We were balling on a budget so we only got a photographer and no videographer. I don't regret the decision at all because Chelsea's pictures captured every moment and tell our story in amazing detail. Finding Light worked with our budget and made me feel so comfortable with our planning that I did not have to worry about a thing come wedding week. I had a hard time picking a photographer until I found Chelsea's page. Her work is just simply beautiful! She is so talented and certainly has that eye. We hired Chelsea for our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be more pleased. Chelsea becomes your BFF from the moment you meet her! She has this warm personality that made me feel calm. It was stress free, fun and natural. She was professional through the whole process. Her quality of work is top notch. She emailed us a bunch of sneak peeks the next day. Chelsea is hands down the most amazing, down-to-earth and creative photographer in south Florida!!! Chelsea did our engagement pictures, boudoir, and just recently our wedding in the Florida Keys. The pictures came out better than we could've imagined, she really is so great at what she does. I can't thank her enough for capturing real moments and the true joy we felt on our special day. Also, for any brides out there debating boudoir - DO IT!!! I went back and forth about it for months and finally decided to do it for my husband's surprise wedding gift. Chelsea made me feel so comfortable, was extremely helpful with poses and soo creative with all the lighting around our house. The album came out amazing and Danny was speechless. First off, I wish there was a six-star option. Chelsea was beyond amazing - for a number of reasons. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was so great to work with. Some of my favorite things about Chelsea: 1) um, her! She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. She is just fun and also genuine person. As soon as I met her, I felt like we were old friends - a plus when this is the person you will be hanging out with for 8+ hours. :) . 2) Talent and creativity. During our wedding, it seemed that Chelsea was able to capture every moment without being intrusive. She also got shots I would have never even thought of. This girl is a true talent and great at her craft. 3) Professionalism - She is reliable, responsive and just all-around on her game. She even provided me with a suggested timeline for the entire day! So basically, I could go on and on about her... but simply put, our day would not have been the same without Chelsea. I highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I loved her from our very first meeting, and I knew right away that our engagement and wedding photos were in the right hands. I don't have enough characters in this review to write about all the wonderful things I have to say about Chelsea. We have hired Finding Light Photography 3 times (Christmas pictures, engagement pictures, and our wedding) and we will hire again 300 more times to capture special moments in our lives. Chelsea was amazing to work with. We had a very small, weekday wedding and she was really willing to work with us through the whole deal. I knew as soon as I starting talking to her (and stalking her blog) that our wedding photos would be fantastic. She was great with everyone involved and even loved on our pup who was part of our big day. She went above and beyond to make sure that all of photos came out fantastic, including standing in water and getting some fishermen to move their boat. She was also very quick on getting them back to us as well, even beating the date on our contract. If you want a photographer that specializes in natural lighting and will be willing to go the extra mile for you, Chelsea is your person.
