Claire is unobtrusive: After we took our official bridal party photos and it was time for the reception, I barely saw Claire or her shooting partner the rest of the night. But they were there all along, capturing plenty of fun and candid moments on the dance floor and during our cake cutting. 3. Her pricing is fair: I researched MANY New Jersey wedding photographers before I chose FindOrion. Her wedding package prices are by far the most reasonably priced—without sacrificing quality or professionalism. 4. Claire is local: We share a deep love of the area where we both grew up and where I held my wedding, which she perfectly captured throughout the day. Added bonus with a local photog: Claire already knew the best spots to shoot around the lake and on the beach, as well as the photography rules at our local church, so those were two less things I didn’t have to spend time researching/overthinking during the stressful wedding planning process. 5. She is accommodating: Claire happily traveled from New Jersey to New York City for our fall engagement shoot in Central Park (for no extra cost). Not only did she have great suggestions about where we should shoot within the park, but she even gladly and patiently shot from a tree while we clumsily maneuvered our row boat amid a very crowded lake on a sunny Saturday! Findorion Photography was one of the easiest. Claire is so personable and knowledgeable that by the time we were 10 minutes into the initial interview, we knew she was the right photographer for or wedding. Her academic background in photography, experience with the NY metro area and cool demeanor was exactly what we were looking for. On a beautiful summer day we met Claire to discuss logistics of the wedding day. Even though we were 10 months in advance she was well prepared and had a couple of key items for us to think about as we made other decisions related to our wedding. Her coaching and friendly approach helped us with our timeline and planning. The day of our wedding came so quickly and Claire and the photography team were ready for everything. They were punctual, organized, and a lot of fun to be around. The weather wasn’t very cooperative but Claire was prepared for anything. A small gap in the rain allowed us for pictures on the beach and Claire worked with us in an efficient way that let us get all our pictures in. At the reception nobody even noticed Claire but she was able to get so many amazing and natural shots. Everyone who has seen our photos says how great the pictures are and how much fun the wedding looked. None of that would have been possible without Claire. t photos of your special day are. We loved the natural look of our photos. None of the photos looked forced or staged. Claire worked with us to find the perfect background for our photos. We took our photos outside the venue and Claire scouted out the perfect areas to make sure they were authentic to the area, watching the train schedule to take photos at the nearby train station for example. As we saw each photo get posted to the site we fell more in love with each one. The shots were really creative and the feel definitely wasn't cookie-cutter, which was important to us. It is going to be really difficult for us to choose which ones to put in our album. We initially purchased the basic package of 350 edited images but increased it to 500 after we started seeing them. Our family loved them all and we appreciated that Claire and Tara made the effort to ensure every guest was photographed. It was so wonderful to have Claire capture special moments and reactions that we didn't see as the hosts. I will look forward to working with Claire and FindOrion for other events in the future and would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone. Don't hesitate... book her right away!! It was difficult to schedule an initial meeting because they have so many different kinds of projects going on, but do not let this deter you; they are extremely reliable and completely focused on your wedding.

Claire asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood what we were looking for. She was on time, professional, and accommodated all of our requests. She also looked for unique locations to take our pictures and even climbed a wall and stood in a tree to get some of our favorite shots. We received so many comments from our wedding party where they felt that the photos weren't the usual posed pictures and that they actually had fun taking them, and that really shows in those shots.
