What I love about weddings is that I am invited to a very sacred event to tell the story of two worlds coming together. I step into the universe of two unique people and combine what I learn about them into a highly personal cinematic wedding film. For as long as I can remember I have always been in performance arts. From playing music in front of people to acting on stage and later producing my own feature films for cinema, there has always been something quite surreal about stepping out onto the stage, a live audience watching closely holding their breath at tense moments, shedding a tear during sad ones. It is a very special bond between artist and viewer… This same excitement and tension I feel when I hear how our artistic impression of your day brings back memories and even tears.

In short, I take a very detailed approach to filming and I am always on the lookout for better angles, creative ways and perfect lighting. I believe that every bride deserves to be the star of her wedding. I strive to find a way to show just how gorgeous she looks and if she tells me that her left side looks better than her right, I take her word for granted and keep it top secret. What really inspires me about my work is the magic between two people in love. Their genuine connection to each other is perhaps never more evident than on the wedding day. I am really grateful to be a witness to their genuine emotions and I feel connected to the couples we have the privilege to shoot. As they say it takes two people to tell a love story, so meet the love of my life Desmond.

I knew he would use his creativity to commemorate our mini-mony with such authenticity and energy. We decided to do an IG reel and a longer video. When Desmond sent over the IG reel it carried such energy… by the end of it we were clapping as if we just watched a great movie! He truly delivered and in such a timely fashion. ch made us feel cared for and like they would be reliable and easy to work with. We also watched their videos online, and were impressed by the quality and cinematography. For the quality, it's hard to beat the pricing offered by Fine Art Films and all you get in their packages. While filming, we liked the balance of telling them what we wanted, and them giving us suggestions of what would be great for the camera based on their experience and view through the lens. They were always there when we wanted them there, but it never felt like an intrusive presence. We still remember how they went above and beyond what was in their contract to be helpful— from driving us around to hit multiple sites, to helping out with the live stream, to providing us with lots of great recommendations on how to do the shots, and many more. We felt so well cared for, and their warmth and kindness helped us feel the best we could feel on the wedding day!

The highlight video is something we will remember and cherish forever. Things tend to happen quickly during wedding days, so to be able to relive these moments, hear the speeches again, and even see things we never saw during our wedding, fills us with such immense gratitude we cannot put into words.
The attention to detail from beginning to end is immaculate. We also loved the beautiful wooden box we received.

al day has been nothing but a wonderful pleasure. Desmond is probably the nicest person I've ever met and he was so patient towards us during the entire process. In the beginning, he sent us a very detailed questionnaire so he can gauge what's important to us, and if there is anything the team needs to avoid (which was super thoughtful because there were a few things I was really self conscious about). I met Desmond for the first time on my wedding day (we've had multiple emails and phone calls exchanges before that), and even though I was a busy bride, he showed me sooo much grace and kindness. My very introverted mom LOVED him because of how easy to get along he was. When we got the videos back from our wedding, you can tell that he spent a lot of time and love to making them, and my entire family cried at the beautiful footage and editing we got back. He also sent us a very beautiful package with a USB and hard drive with all of out special memories in it. Thank you so much Desmond and the crew at Fine Art Wedding Film for being such an important part of our once-in-a-lifetime event. Thank you for not only the videos, but for your kindness and professionalism that every person should have on their special day.
