We weren’t really sure what to look for when booking a dj and hired Joe of Fine Tune Entertainment after having a good phone conversation with him. The decision really paid off, as Joe was professional and easy to work with. He was responsive and willing to work with our music tastes, double-checking to make sure he had the right versions of some more obscure kpop songs. He cued everything perfectly for our ceremony and managed all the announcements with an excitement that didn’t feel forced or corny. Most importantly, he is a fantastic dj who did a great job of reading the room and keeping the dancefloor going. He created a good flow for the night with his song choices while still playing our must play songs and faded songs out at the right moment so nothing dragged on too long. We had so many guests comment on how much fun they had dancing and how great the song selections were.

We could not have been happier with choosing Fine Tune Entertainment to DJ our wedding. From the beginning, they were communicative and professional and really went above and beyond for us. For example, we wanted to combine two songs for our first dance and they created multiple mixes for us to choose from, and even edited these further based on our requests. It ended up being absolutely perfect. For our DJ day of, we had DJ Mike McLaughlin and we thought he was incredible. He handled the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music beautifully. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we received tons of compliments. We HIGHLY recommend FineTune and DJ Mike.

Joe was amazing! We had a bunch of sound requests for musicians during the ceremony and reception, and Joe was able to provide all the needed equipment and expertise to make everyone sound great! He had very deep knowledge of the best microphones and set up for our musicians. An important thing for us was also the music played during the reception, and Joe played exactly what we wanted! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. His transitions from each song were also smooth, which helped to keep the party going. I would 100% recommend Fine Tune Entertainment for anyone's wedding.

Fine Tune Entertainment was a fantastic choice for our wedding! Joe, our DJ, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he listened to what we had asked for and followed through on it. There was no music that was outside of what we asked for and specific "no" songs were avoided. He was super helpful in providing AV assistance for all aspects of the event and was a joy to work with.

Going into this wedding, we really had no idea what we were doing. To try and save some money, we opted to do all of the planning ourselves. But that also meant that we didn't know what all went into something like hiring a DJ. Thankfully, Michael (our DJ), and Joe at FineTune Entertainment made everything as seamless as possible, and helped us navigate the process. Admittedly, our plan kind of sucked, and I'm certain that Michael was probably very confused by [my] terrible attempts at conveying our hopes to have some ballroom style dance music, and some kid music, all while trying to put together a cohesive playlist for everyone involved. But if he was, he did a great job of putting that aside and moving forward to make sure we had the best possible experience. And we did! So, so many of our guests complimented us on him and his ability to read the room. And even though the majority of adult guests didn't do much dancing - including, sadly, us - He had all of those kids moving and grooving with a selection of Disney hits and more poppy music. It was not at all what I pictured happening, but Michael deftly navigated it all, and just killed it. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment at our wedding, thanks to Fine Tune Entertainment! We were lucky to find them because they provide a wide range of music options. From the same company, we were able to book a solo guitarist for our ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail hour, as well as our excellent DJ for the reception. We initially interacted with Joe, and he took the time to listen to what we wanted out of our wedding entertainment, and was always incredibly responsive whenever we needed anything. Our guests raved that our ceremony guitarist—Norwood—was one of the best guitarists they had ever heard, and we couldn’t agree more. Norwood also took the time to learn a custom arrangement for our recessional. We didn’t personally interact with the jazz trio that played during our cocktail hour (as we barely made it to cocktail hour), but our guests enjoyed the live music. Last by not least, our DJ—Dave—was excellent! He was very responsive throughout the whole process and took the time to mix tracks together ahead of the wedding so that my dad and I could practice our father daughter dance. He isn’t one of those DJs that talks all the time (which is exactly what we wanted), and he really knew how to maintain the flow of the entire night. The Fine Tune Entertainment team was professional, friendly, and really listened to what we wanted, delivering an unforgettable evening!

Joe was INCREDIBLE. He was so attentive during the planning process and enthusiastic to make our vision come to life at our wedding. He helped our officiant, parents, and best man/maid of honor feel comfortable using the mics and speaking to the guests. We loved the way he mixed our music, playing all the best parts of the songs, but not playing each song all the way through (people don't want to listen start to finish on the dance floor)! We can't recommend Fine Tune enough for your wedding.

Fine Tune Entertainment was an absolute pleasure to work with! From our initial phone call with Joe, to the weeks leading up and then the wedding day...the communication and support was top notch. We felt very confident going with this team! We made a last minute decision to add a Photo Booth and Joe made it happen. Our guests had so much fun with it! DJ Mike did our wedding and he was fabulous, he would check in with us throughout the day and evening to make sure we were happy. He was able to read the crowd well and kept the party going. Joe was very professional to work with and the platform they used was very easy for us to include all the songs needed for our day! Our DJ was DJ Mike and he did a great job at feeling out the vibes and incorporating our requested songs! He was also able to provide us with microphones for our vows during the ceremony. We had a fabulous experience with Fine Tune Entertainment and DJ Dave specifically. The planning process was smooth, and the day-of experience was phenomenal. The guests raved about the DJ afterward and the dancefloor was magical. There were just so many fun moments. We also had a piano/string duo that was great (it was also super windy that day, and the team fought through the wind like it was nothing!!!). 10/10, amazing experience!!!

Joe absolutely deserves 5 stars! Our wedding photographer even said " I haven't seen that many people on the dance floor all night in years" and it's all because he knew how to read the room and what music to play! That being said, my husband and I were very particular about the music we wanted since we both enjoy different styles, and Joe understood the assignment!. He has an amazing website that helps you plan out your night with a questionnaire about first dance songs, do not plays, etc and also has set playlists on his websites to help guide your vibe. Additionally, Joe meets with you before you book him, after you book him and then again a week or two before the wedding to go over final details. My husband and I changed outfits in the middle of the night and once again Joe read the room and played a song that everyone knew and could sing along to. The fact that our wedding photographer made a comment about our DJ keeping the party alive all night says it all! He knows how to keep the party going and you can not go wrong with booking him!!! He made our night exactly what we wanted! HIGHLY suggest.

We used Fine Tune entertainment for our brewery wedding in November and they were fantastic! DJ Mike did a fabulous job making a playlist that we loved and keeping the party going. All our friends and family were excited to dance and some of my friends from NY even said they’d love to hire him for their events in the future! Highly recommended.

As my husband and I were starting out in our wedding planning process, we knew we wanted to have a DJ for our wedding reception. One of my good friends recommended Fine Tune Entertainment and Joe was the best DJ we could’ve ever hoped for, for our big day! We used Joe for our September 2023 wedding. He was so friendly and excited for us on our upcoming marriage and wanted to do everything he could to make our day the best day of our lives! He was very easy to get in contact with and he always responded quickly! He had an answer for any question we threw at him and was so easy to work with! I (the bride) had a very special request of Joe that required a projector and projector screen that Joe did for me seamlessly. His kindness in doing this is something I will never forget! We can't say enough about Joe. We planned a destination wedding in Barcelona, Spain and needed our processional song edited along with some pointers for our wedding dance playlist. We hired Fine Tune Entertainment, specifically Joe, as our DJ for our 09/17/23 wedding. He was exceptionally professional, easy-going, with a personality tailor-made for a DJ. He was affordable based on all the options we reviewed in the area. He was very thorough in his responses to our many questions and his online portal/questionnaire was very easy to use. During our "final meeting" we reviewed his portal in great detail and eased all of our anxieties with his responses, expertise, and his overall experience. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and audible the ceremony went/sounded due to the set-up that Joe made happen. The music was the perfect volume for the ceremony and reception! The dance floor was full of guests of all ages and our guests commented on how great and recognizable the music was. His set-up was amazing and even better with colored lighting behind his DJ station. I would definitely recommend Fine Tune Entertainment and Joe for any event!

My husband and I hired Fine Tune Entertainment for our wedding at the beginning of July, and Joe and his team did an amazing job! We had DJ Dave as the DJ for our wedding, and he knew how to get and keep everyone on the dance floor! Leading up to the wedding, Joe and his team were always quick to respond whenever we had a question, and their portal/questionnaire were easy to navigate as well. The team even helped put together a special song for the mother/groom dance. Everyone here is great to work with, and we highly recommend them!

We hired Fine Tune Entertainment as the DJ for our wedding. We were able to have a few calls with different DJ's to find which was our best fit and we went with Kyle and he was amazing!!! He made sure everything was set up for our ceremony even with crazy weather. He made sure everyone was on the dance floor which was all we wanted. We had 80 year olds dancing, 25 year olds and 5 year olds. It was an amazing wedding and Kyle definitely helped make it that way! 100000% recommend.

We highly recommend Fine Tune Entertainment for your wedding or event. They were responsive and incredibly easy to work with as we prepared for the wedding day. Their online portal was very easy to use and their set up on the wedding day (in a tent no less) was beautiful and professional. Joe, the owner, was very easy to work with and our DJ, Mike, was fantastic. He was a great MC and kept everyone dancing all night. He made a custom version of a song for the father-daughter dance that worked out perfectly. We received a ton of compliments from guests about DJ Mike.

I can’t recommend Fine Tune Entertainment enough! Joe was great to work with; he was incredibly responsive and friendly. Dave was the DJ and MC at our wedding and he did such an incredible job! From the cocktail hour to speeches, the audio was great and the music was exactly what I wanted. I had a vision for the flow of music throughout the night to get everyone dancing and he understood it perfectly! The dance floor was PACKED all night. We would give the Fine Tune crew 6 stars were it an option. We knew before booking a DJ that our guests would want to spend most of the night on the dance floor, so finding the right person to set the tone for the reception was a must. After reading many reviews, we contacted Joe at Fine Tune. He responded right away to set up a call. We appreciated how up-front he was about certain costs. For instance, our wedding was in a location that is difficult to get equipment into, but the additional charge for setup was clear from the beginning. And it was worth it! It was easy sailing. They sent a questionnaire that covered all bases, like the top 20 songs we wanted to hear and what music we wanted to eat dinner to. It indicated how seriously they take their craft. The online portal for entering key details was so helpful; in addition to giving the DJ a clear overview of how our day would go, it helped us to plan what we wanted from the day. Dave was our DJ and MC. We only needed one Zoom chat to go over key details and nail down the game plan. Dave quickly made an impression on us and our wedding party. He's friendly and kind, not to mention easy and fun to work with. Our first memory of Dave is from the Zoom call. He had just returned from his native Ireland and was wearing a jacket in the colors of the Irish flag. (It was a big contrast to see him looking dapper in a suit shortly after!) Despite jet lag, he got what he needed from us to turn in an A+ performance. On the day of, Dave accommodated a last-minute addition to our entrance lineup, triple-checked how to pronounce all the wedding party’s names, and took time to chat with a 12-year-old aspiring DJ among our guests. After cocktail hour, our party gathered in a side room to get ready for introductions. Dave came in and read off the names again to make sure they were right. Something about his relaxed vibe struck a chord with our friends. When we lined up in the hallway a few minutes later, they started chanting "DJ DAVE! DJ DAVE!" It was an absolute thrill for the two of us to hear, a testament to all the amazing vendors we picked for that weekend. And my father-in-law is still talking about how amazing he felt after Dave's introduction. Dave is a great DJ, emblematic of how Fine Tune delivers to perfection. At dinner his jazz mix set the right tone. And after dinner, his playlist charged up our dance-loving friends and family, weaving our song requests with other classics. His tunes had lots of the kiddos jamming, including our two 8-year-old nephews break dancing! Dave was just as great an MC. Along with our wedding coordinator at the venue, he kept us on a tight schedule during the reception, while never making us feel rushed. He brought lightness and pep to every announcement. We're pretty sure he got well-earned compliments from guests later in the evening. And he was so kind to the two of us throughout, making sure we knew just how much he enjoyed the event too. There's a photo with him in the background, smiling at some goofballing we were doing, and it's a perfect encapsulation of how great he was that night. We’re so glad we vetoed our original plan to manage the soundtrack ourselves and have a friend MC the reception. Joe and Dave are that unicorn blend of professional, fun, and talented. Most importantly, though, they both truly love what they do and are laser-focused on making people's special events the best. We cannot thank them enough for everything.

Working with Joe and Fine Tune was such a highlight of our wedding planning experience! Joe was so fun and easy to work with. The online portal helps to capture all the details and our conversations leading up to the wedding ensured that we were all aligned on the vision. DJ Joe was absolutely amazing. He provided everything we needed for the ceremony and reception. We had a beach ceremony which required some critical components and Joe took care of all of it. We contracted with Joe to be our DJ for our wedding and out of everything about the night, Joe was by far the most talked about and praised by our guests. He was fantastic! He had everyone dancing the entire night, he played all the right music at the right time, and we had absolutely no issues with audio. My wife and I have been to many weddings and can honestly say Joe is the best DJ we’ve experienced by far. Fine Tune Entertainment is reasonably priced for the Boston area, especially considering the quality of service that they provide. Prior to the day Joe introduced us to his fully customizable online portal which allowed us to choose music for the ceremony, dinner, reception, etc. and even add songs to not play even if requested. Through the portal and conversations with Joe, we finalized all the details for the ceremony and reception and Joe delivered those details with absolute perfection on the wedding day. He had such a positive energy throughout the entire day and made wonderful suggestions to ensure our reception was the total dance party that we wanted it to be. One great suggestion was to keep the bridal party on the dance floor after a photo so that they could kick off the dancing, which worked perfectly to get the rest of our guests onto the dance floor. After playing the last song of the night (the end of Joe’s contractual obligation to be there) one of our bridal party started a “one more song” chant and rather than packing up and heading home right then, Joe picked a really fun song that allowed everyone to end the night with maximum energy – it turned into one of the most fun memories we have and truly gave our wedding reception the perfect ending. Seriously, it was the intangibles that Joe brought that made our wedding perfect. Joe was a huge factor in making our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Save yourself the headache of finding a DJ and sign with Joe… you will be ecstatic you did. Thank you so much Joe!

DJ JOE is the absolute best!!! Finding the right DJ is all about personality and fit. Joe understood the vibe of the room and how to bring the energy. Music was the highest priority on the wedding list and Joe at Fine Tune Entertainment did not disappoint. We clicked with him during our first meeting, and he took all our ideas and totally blew me away. I had pretty specific ideas for each stage of the wedding and Joe worked right along with us and provided us with suggestions to make things work even better. There was never a moment our dance floor was empty and so many people complimented our music. If I ever need to hire a DJ again, Joe would be my first call.

Joe & Dave from Fine Tune Entertainment are truly the BEST of the best! We are SO pleased to have hired them for our wedding, as they helped to make the day absolutely fabulous! As soon as we got engaged, I reached out to Joe & Dave at the recommendation of a friend who had used them for her wedding. We knew we wanted personal touches throughout the evening, so opted to add the live acoustic-duo for our cocktail hour and were sure to choose songs that our family and friends who had travelled from abroad would know and enjoy! Joe & Dave were do flexible and kind about this, and all of our guests absolutely LOVED it. When it came time to the reception, Joe & Dave kept the dance floor going, and played any songs that were requested! It's also important to note how absolutely kind, understanding, and flexible Joe & Dave were along the way. We hired them in 2019, but our wedding plans were derailed many times due to the pandemic. When we were finally able to have the wedding of our dreams in October 2022, Joe & Dave were right there, celebrating the day alongside us! We HIGHLY recommend Joe & Dave and the entire Fine Tune team!!

We hired Joe for our wedding in September and we cannot say enough good things about the job he did. He was professional from day 1, always communicative and willing to answer questions, and everything was perfect from the ceremony all the way through the dancing music. We are known in our friend group as the music minded couple. We tend to be given the aux cord for car rides and serve as DJs for the house parties amongst our friends. Therefore, ensuring that the music for our wedding was a top notch priority for us. We were picky when choosing our wedding DJ to say the least. What attracted us to DJ Joe and Fine Tune Entertainment was his knowledge of music stemming from his formal training at Berklee College of Music and his attention to detail when creating mixes for events down to blending together songs in the same key. After meeting with DJ Joe, we were also attracted to his bubble personality and felt he was the right fit for our special day. DJ Joe was also very responsive to all our questions and needs, including meeting us in person to discuss the set list and mixing Spanish and American music throughout the evening. The added bonus was that Fine Tune Entertainment offered string trio services for the ceremony. The string trio was gracious enough to learn, prepare, and play all of our song requests throughout the ceremony as well. DJ Joe, the string trio, and Fine Tune Entertainment made our wedding day the best day ever and they developed the perfect soundtrack to our night!

We hired Fine Tune Entertainment for our wedding on Sep 17 2022 and they did an amazing job. Carlos was our DJ and I cannot speak highly enough of him being professional, kind, and personable. Of course he did a fantastic job meeting our requests and recommending music. The dance floor was full all night! I would absolutely hire them again.

Fine Tune Entertainment was a huge part of making our day so perfect!! We used Fine Tune for our ceremony and reception, and everyone involved was professional and talented. The Khoury sisters played violin and piano at our outdoor ceremony. They took our song requests and played them beautifully, and the sound quality provided by DJ Omari was really impressive. DJ Carlos played our reception and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Everyone was on the dance floor having a blast. He took all of our requests and totally got our vibe. Fine Tune Entertainment (particularly DJ Carlos) was incredible to work with! We hired DJ Carlos to do a two day Indian and American wedding celebration which meant Carlos had to stay late and start early morning the next day. As some may know, Indian weddings are an INCREDIBLY long day with many cues needed from priests and wedding coordinators. Carlos handled these cues well, with playing the traditional Indian music for the South Indian Hindu ceremony and did a great job with the classical music for the American Ceremony. He was also great with balancing the traditional Indian songs with the newer bollywood hits as well as executing a wide range of pop, hip hop, and throwbacks for the sangeet and American reception . Thanks so much to Carlos for going above and beyond our requests!!

DJ Mike was amazing to work with! He totally understood our vision, and did a great job of reading the crowd and playing songs that would get everyone on the dance floor.

Absolutely the best, most engaged people I have worked with. All of the music: the string trio for the ceremony, the Jazz trio for the cocktail hour and the DJ for the reception were prompt, completely organized and executed brilliantly during the wedding. Could not have asked for anything more. The professionalism of their communications leading up to the wedding was outstanding. So easy and no issues with anything that was requested or that required an “on the spot” revision of the plan. Highly recommend them!

Fine Tune (specifically DJ Carlos) was DJ for our wedding in June, 2022. Carlos and Joe were organized, responsive to emails, and did a great job! They were receptive to music suggestions and requests, while also providing input on what they typically do for weddings. People were dancing all night! Would definitely recommend.
