and really was just going there to try it on. During my time with them, it was just me and my guests and it was so special. I was able to look through all of the dresses and try on the one I was searching for. They pay so much attention to detail as well as the facial expressions during your time trying dresses on. I would say I like this or I wish this was different and they would go pull a dress that fit those details to a T. Their knowledge of dresses and their inventory is amazing and they really make you feel so special! I found my dream dress (not the one I went to try on) and they were so great with the ordering time, and Claire was so accommodating to me when my dress was coming in since I lived further away and would need to take time off to travel to the shop! These ladies are amazing and I will always recommend to anyone getting married that they need to go shopping here!

ause I was looking for something timeless; but Finery offered a beautiful selection of tasteful, modern, and customizable gowns. The team at Finery Bridal is so helpful; it's evident that the owner Claire carries years of experience and understands the bride. She made me feel comfortable by patiently answering my questions and not being pushy. I've been to many bridal shops and this was by far my favorite and the classiest!

I found my dress and couldn’t have been more happy it was at such an amazing place! My other dress shopping experiences were fine, but I left feeling discouraged and overwhelmed; I left Finery excited about my dress and my upcoming wedding. I cannot wait until my dress arrives. UPDATE: My wedding has come and gone--my dress was absolutely wonderful. I could not be happier.

l not be disappointed. You will be so well taken care of. For the full story: My only goal with wedding planning was to keep it as low stress as possible. I wasn't going to get a "real" wedding dress because I had seen my friends go through the stress of trying to find a shop they liked, then a dress they liked, then dealing with sizing/ordering/alterations/etc - not to mention the cost. I'm doing a beach wedding so I thought a simple white dress would do. I was finally convinced by my friends to at least try on bridal gowns. I thought for sure I would have to travel to the Twin Cities to get the dresses and experience I was looking for - but I was so wrong! I pass the Finery Bridal Chic store every day to work, so I decided to make an appointment. From the moment I walked in I was taken care of like a close friend instead of like a potential sale. Claire and Carol were so sweet and kind taking time to answer so many of my questions and help me walk through the process. The dresses are beautiful, and so unique. The shop has picked wonderful designers who allow for customizations to make sure you get your dream dress. As I tried on dresses they were great at providing input and advice when I asked for it, but not pushing me towards any dresses or styles. They offered suggestions of other styles based on things I liked - they know their dresses inside and out! The whole process was transparent including cost, turnaround time, expectations, etc. They have dresses for almost every budget and they made no attempts to try and up-sell or push expensive dresses or add-ons. As I narrowed down my choices they didn't make me feel bad for wanting to see different dresses on a second (or third!) time. They really wanted to help me get the dress that would make me the happiest on my wedding day. They truly made the experience stress free - and I cannot thank them enough! I went from not even wanting a dress to falling in LOVE with my dress. It's made me even more excited for my wedding. I'm so happy to be a Finery Bridal Chic bride!

I would recommend to all of my friends and family, that if you are in the market for a wedding gown, The Finery Bridal Chic is by far the experience experience I had looking for a dress in Iowa and Southern Minnesota. A lot of places have great gowns but it was the charisma and service that make me love my dress choice 100000 times more.

nd Carol warmly welcomed my party with mimosas and bubbly and made us all comfortable. Their gowns are BEYOND GORGEOUS and what I love about them is they are unique - they aren’t the same old dress that you’ve already seen in tons of photos online. I would recommend Finery Bridal to any and all future brides in SE MN area.

style but provided helpful suggestions, and let my crew pick out dresses but kept them in my comfort zone. We found the most amazing dress, and she helped use accessories to make it utterly perfect. With custom changes my dress is going to be unique and so me. I could not be happier with it!!

ry on the same dress a few weeks later the sleeves were so nicely tacked on so I could truly envision how I would look on my special day. This was the sweetest gesture. To add to the fun, Claire and Carol also have an elegant selection of dresses for rehearsal dinners or bachelorette parties!

re no one had an empty beverage ;) we had the salon to ourselves and we essentially had a party! It was all our first time ever going gown shopping so we had no expectations, but at the same time high expectations and Finery met them all!

The situation for me choosing their salon was different in regards to the fact that I am based in Chicago and unfortunately had a family event in Iowa which led to a nice break for my mom and I to go shopping in MN (plus tax free is a bonus!). During our appointment we were lucky and the only ones in the salon. For me dress shopping was a dreadful event as I am awkward and have insecurities. Claire and her assistant handled it great! Offered a glass of wine while we discussed preferences and went along with the shopping experience. Both Claire and her assistant worked well together which made the experience relieving and lighthearted. They were great about pulling different styles for me and working through some of the insecurities I had as well as answering all sizing/alteration questions. I was able to find a dress and vail within my dress budget which was amazing. A big win was being able to order the dress through them and having the chance to get it shipped to my house so that I don't have to drive out the MN once it comes in. Claire has been very involved with updating me up front about the ordering process with the designer which is comforting. Also while I was chatting with Claire about alterations as this will be done in Chicago she helped give ideas to find the right person to do it, let alone she was luckily familiar with Chicago so she gave me a reference to call as well. Excited to get the dress in 4 months! I would suggest going to them as it is a cute shop and they are very comforting. Worth the drive! Also the savings on taxes :)
