Ron Gray was amazing! We knew he would be because we had been to several parties and weddings he had been the DJ at. He handled our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception... all wh...
ile traversing some pretty hilly terrain! We threw some curve balls at Ron by adding a Polish tradition into our reception to determine our head of the household, celebrating my Great Aunt and Uncle's 61st wedding anniversary that was on our wedding day, oh and changing up the order and partners of our reception entrance. He took everything in stride and with a huge smile on his face. We honestly didn't give Ron much direction on the songs we wanted played or didn't want played at our reception and I am glad we didn't because he created a great mix! We and our guests danced ALL night and had an amazing time!
Flexible and Experienced DJ!
We heard about Finest Sounds from a friend who utilized him for her wedding and we were not disappointed. Ron met with us early in the process, had ve...
ry competitive pricing, and took time to really get to know our preferences and flow for the event. Prior to the wedding, Ron provided an in-depth questionnaire to learn our tastes, including DO NOT Play lists and Must Plays, as well as specific percentages of songs played from different genres.
On the day of, Ron also provided AV equipment for the ceremony, and did a fantastic job seamlessly transitioning the evening. We asked him to take on this responsibility about three months until the wedding and he didn’t bat an eye.
Our introductions went perfectly and did a great job playing the music we requested, managing the requests of guests, and choosing songs on his own. The dance floor with Ron Gray was the place to be at our wedding!
If you want a DJ that cares about what you want, has competitive pricing, flexibility, professionalism, and flawless execution, then Finest Sounds is for you.
Ron Gray was wonderful. He played exactly what we wanted. <3 He was readily available & was quick to answer emails!
Ron provided the music / DJ services for our wedding at the Carnegie Institute for Science. Based on his reviews and the initial consultation we did with him, we decided not to ha...
ve a band do our ceremony or any other part of the wedding - Ron performed all the music-related services. We were very happy with this decision. Ron was very meticulous about gathering details of the wedding and meeting with us beforehand to make sure he knew exactly what types of music to play and when to play it. We had a somewhat unconventional wedding that had some scripted musical moments throughout the ceremony, and Ron delivered flawlessly! He even worked with us to do a customized entrance song mix for the bride. Our guest list was very diverse in terms of backgrounds and age, so with the information we gave Ron he was able to keep a large portion of the group on the dance floor until the very end of the event (we even had some groans when the music came to and end). We recommend Ron for your event!
Ron made our evening perfect!
I loved Ron. He helped me so much thru the wedding planning process. He was there to answer questions and to bring up things I hadn't thought of. My husband and I have VERY differe...
nt taste in music and gave Ron very little guidance/suggestions but he managed to pick the perfect songs for our reception. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and to figured out how to perfectly merge our music to suit both of us. If you are looking for a DJ Ron is the man! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.
Ron was extremely courteous and professional throughout the entire process - from drafting the contract to the wedding reception. He responded quickly to emails and phone calls, wh...
ich was very important to us. He was also one of the most affordable DJs out there for this area. At the reception, Ron did exactly what we had asked and played the songs we wanted to hear. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to DJ our wedding!
Finest Sounds was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was very attentive to us - checking a few times to make sure we had food and drinks, keeping an eye on the time and schedule...
d events, and working closely with the coordinator we had designated. He followed our playlist closely, and added a few more songs into the mix that suited us well based on what we provided him. He was responsive to us and to our guests as they requested songs and asked him for assistance. And for all of that, his price came in lower than the other DJs we looked at. Even before the wedding, he was working with us to make sure he had everything set to go and the event went off smoothly.
