Our guests absolutely loved Finley's Grill & Smokehouse for our wedding reception catering! Leading up to our day, Ben and the team were incredibly communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for the day. We chose a selection of smoked meats from their menu, and Ben and his team even went the extra mile to help set up a charcuterie board at the venue and work with a local butcher in Grand Rapids to source the meat. On day of, the team did a fantastic job, and everything went so smoothly! We could not have asked for a more delicious reception dinner. Thank you Finley's team!

The ladies were so kind to plate both my husband and my meal so we didn't have to lift a finger and told me to enjoy the night since she knows it goes by so quickly, which was truly so heartfelt and kind. The food was outstanding; everyone raved about it! The pretzel bar was especially a huge hit and added such a fun, unique touch to our night. We couldn’t have asked for better service or quality. Highly recommend Finley’s for any gathering — they truly deliver on flavor and hospitality!

Ben has been with Finley's for 20 years and is our Director of Catering! He has done every job there is to do in a restaurant but found his true passion in our catering operations. Ben pays major attention to detail to make sure every wedding goes exactly to plan. Scheduling, staffing, special requests (One gluten free guest?...no problem, One vegan? No problem!). Because of our interest in making your day perfect, Finley's Catering is a major player in the Wedding Catering business all over Mid and Southern Michigan.

husiastic and ready to go. They even helped us finish setting up our dessert table, which they provided no food for. We were thanked profusely by the individuals who received an alternative meal (vegan, gluten free, dairy free) as it made these individuals feel so so included in the night. They cleaned up the trash throughout the night and then packed up all the food for us to take as leftovers (which we are still eating on over a month later!) People highly complimented the food too! We did have a few comments from guests of the food being a little luke warm rather than hot but this was the only complaint. Thank you Finley's!

Extremely fair pricing for the quality they provide. We still have guests asking who catered because they wanted to use them for upcoming events of their own! They arrived exactly when they were supposed to, and their setup looked great. The food was AMAZING!! We received so many comments raving about the food. Our guests were very happy with the taste and generous portion sizes. We did pulled pork, brisket, mac-n-cheese, cornbread, baked beans, chicken strips, and a salad. They also brought all of their different BBQ sauces. The catering manager even went out of his way to stop by and check in with us to ensure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend Finley’s to anyone looking for catering for an event!

beginning with scheduling a tasting to select the items we wish to have. He assisted to navigate through a COVID-postponed wedding and hit it out of the park for the event last month. The guests complimented the food that was served, especially the St. Louis ribs, and the staff that were at the event took care of all the service and details with flawless execution and friendly smiles. In these uncertain times during the pandemic, we couldn't have selected a better caterer for handling our event. I would highly recommend Finley's for any event in the Lansing area, they truly were remarkable in every way. Thank you again!

verything was just as we wanted it, and they were very good about keeping in correspondence with us leading up to the big day. On our wedding day, their food was wonderful and their presentation so professional. Their spread was just what we wanted for our rustic/farm themed wedding, and they really worked with our budget! And, they let you take any extra food home! One thing they did for our wedding that really just blew me away was this...My husband really wanted to have cheesy potatoes at our reception, but from what I can remember, they didn't have cheesy potatoes on their menu. So we sent them a family recipe of cheesy potatoes, they made a batch and did some experimentation with it to make it more do-able to make and serve for a large crowd. They let us taste-test it. It was great! So they made that family recipe of cheesy potatoes and served it at our wedding!!!!! If that's not going way above and beyond, I don't know what is! Thank you so much for being part of our wedding reception, Finley's! We just couldn't be happier with the food and the service that we received! And we didn't even have to spend an arm and a leg. ss was simple. We had them provide everything, set up, serve, and clean up. The only two issues that I had was I fell in love with Finley's as my caterer before I had a venue picked out(most places only want who they choose/prefer), and I over ordered so we had way too much food to eat.

the food was boring and bland. Not so with Finley's. Their food was all freshly made, smoked and you could smell the rich genuine smoked bbq flavor from a long ways away! I wanted people to drool while they were waiting to eat and the best way to do that was to have freshly made and smoked food. Finley's delivered in spades and all our guests complimented us on their service and excellence. e me long to find Finley's and I am so thankful that we did. We worked with Ben who was so accommodating to all our ideas. We utilized their bar tending service as well which was a huge help to lump those services together. Ben even made a separate meal for a guest with food allergies. Our guests raved about the food so much; many had seconds & most weren't even hungry for dessert! Haha we had so much dessert leftover. I had many people ask me afterwards for Finley's contact information for their own future weddings. So thankful we found Ben and Finley's because it made that aspect of our wedding planning easy and stress free. Thank you :)
