We understand how much thought, time, and emotion goes into planning a wedding, and we never want a couple to feel that an important part of their vision was not achieved. We were genuinely heartbroken to learn that you were unhappy, which is why we continued the conversation after the wedding and ultimately provided a refund. We wanted you to know that your concerns were heard and that we cared about making things right. We also want to respectfully provide some additional context for future couples reading this review. We absolutely understand the distinction you are making between soft, whimsical pastels and a more traditional or saturated pastel palette. Our team did work within a pastel color story, incorporating soft pinks, peaches, lavenders, blues, whites, and greens. However, we recognize that the final arrangements contained some warmer and brighter tones than you personally envisioned, and we are sorry that the overall balance did not feel the way you had hoped when you saw it in person. It is also important to clarify that inspiration and mood-board imagery is used by our design team to establish an overall aesthetic, color story, movement, and feeling. Individual flowers, exact compositions, proportions, and colors can vary based on seasonality, availability, and the natural characteristics of flowers. The specific floral varieties included in your proposal were reviewed and approved prior to the wedding, and our team designed the wedding according to those approved selections. We were also on site throughout the wedding day. At no point were we approached by the couple about the floral designs, color palette, bouquet, or overall installation needing to be adjusted. If our team had been made aware that the finished work was not feeling right before the wedding began, we would have welcomed the opportunity to make reasonable adjustments wherever possible. We care far more about getting it right for a couple than about simply completing an installation and walking away. There were also a few details on site that required our team to problem-solve and make adjustments based on items provided by the couple. For example, the welcome sign and its presentation were different from what our team had anticipated from the planning materials, so our designers adjusted the floral placement on site to work with what was actually provided. These are the types of behind-the-scenes decisions our team makes throughout an event to create the best possible finished presentation. We also want to acknowledge the photographs included with the review. We understand why the couple chose to share them, but the images do not necessarily provide the full context of the completed wedding design. The mood-board images are carefully styled inspiration photographs, while the wedding-day images include individual close-ups, different lighting, different camera angles, and cropped portions of larger installations. Those differences can make the comparison appear more stark than the overall design experienced in the room. We believe it is important for prospective clients to consider the complete installation rather than evaluating individual arrangements or photographs in isolation. Most importantly, we did not dismiss these concerns after the wedding. A member of our leadership team communicated directly with the couple, listened to their concerns, apologized that their experience did not meet their expectations, and continued working toward a resolution. Ultimately, we provided a refund because we were genuinely upset that our client was unhappy with such an important part of her wedding day. While a refund cannot change how someone felt in the moment, it was our way of taking responsibility for the fact that the experience did not meet the level of satisfaction we strive to provide. We respect that every couple has a personal interpretation of their wedding vision, and we would never tell someone that they should have felt differently about their flowers. At the same time, we hope this response provides a more complete picture of what was planned, approved, executed, and done afterward to address the concerns. We are a small business, and we care deeply about the couples who trust us with one of the most meaningful days of their lives. We have listened to this feedback, made every effort to address the concerns, and provided a refund. We sincerely hope that we can now allow this matter to come to a respectful close rather than continuing to negatively impact our small business through additional public posts or comments. We genuinely wish you and your husband a lifetime of happiness, and we hope that with time, the disappointment surrounding the flowers becomes only one small part of the many memories you carry from your wedding day.
