The main hall showcases original brick walls and windows, with antique chandeliers adding a touch of elegant refinement. The second floor, which once housed the offices and sleeping quarters for one-duty workers, now features multiple suites for the wedding parties to prepare as well as a perfect intimate ceremony room. A private courtyard space is also available, making an ideal area for a ceremony, cocktail hour, or for guests to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Couples who choose to celebrate here can invite up to 150 of their loved ones to enjoy the celebrations in this truly remarkable location. Newlyweds-to-be can host both ceremonies and receptions at Fire House KC and have access to the entire space. Outside the office, Molly cherishes her role as the best aunt to nine nieces and nephews, with a recent addition of twins. When not with family, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, being Kansas City's #1 "Swiftie", and grappling with her shopping addiction. If I could give them less than I would. My fiance and I flew in from Houston to tour the venue and no one showed up!!! I called, messaged, left voicemails, no answer. Messaged the vendor - still no answer. So I guess we won’t be using this vendor. Beware!

Fire House KC was the perfect venue for our November wedding. We were drawn to its timeless appeal, and it was the perfect size for our smaller wedding (about 90 guests). The getting ready area upstairs had plenty of room for everyone with great natural lighting. Our ceremony was held outdoors in the courtyard, and the area was absolutely gorgeous during the fall season. The reception area was just the right size for everyone to mingle and dance. Our venue manager, Molly, and the day of staff were all very kind and easy to work with throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend Fire House KC!

Fire House KC is absolutely beautiful! All of the staff is so easy to work with. Molly was especially great and made sure everything was set up to make our wedding day as smooth as possible. As a DIY couple, Fire House KC made things easy to understand and not having to rent tables and chairs was definitely a plus! We would highly recommend.

The venue itself was stunning with beautiful, unique settings that made our day unforgettable. The standout for us was the manager, Molly, who went above and beyond. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and warm, accommodating attitude made the entire process so much easier and stress-free. Everything about Fire House KC was exactly as you would hope for your wedding. The staff was wonderful, the space was beautiful, and our experience was perfect. The communication from the staff was great. We worked with Molly, and she was very helpful throughout the entire process. We loved utilizing every space the venue had to offer - the courtyard, upstairs, and reception area. And every corner is beautiful and well thought out. The Fire House KC fit our needs perfectly and our guests loved the charm. I would love to live the day over, just to spend more time in this venue.

10.3.2024 was the best day ever!!! Firehouse KC was the venue of our dreams!!! My dad was a firefighter so it held sentimental value to us! Molly was SO helpful during the whole wedding planning process and answered every single question I had! I couldn’t recommend Fire House KC enough :)

The Firehouse KC was our DREAM venue. It is so unique and it has several fun spaces to utilize! We had our ceremony outside in their gorgeous courtyard, and our reception inside. However they also have a GORGEOUS upstairs small ballroom for more intimate, indoor weddings. Firehouse KC was super helpful with helping us pick vendors too (we live several states away from KC and had a hard time picking vendors). They have a list of their "friendors," their favorite vendors that they've worked with in the past. That was really helpful for us to narrow down our vendors! Katie was our venue manager and she was a GEM to work with. She made everything so easy, she anticipated our needs and was able to make our wedding stress free because of how hard she worked. Thank you FireHouse KC for our memorable, unique, AMAZING wedding!

My husband & I got married in October 2022 at the Fire House KC and we could not have imagined a more perfect venue to host our wedding. The venue is incredibly unique, detailed and spacious and sets itself apart from other venues in the area. The minute we toured the space we knew it was the one for us! We had a wedding of >40 people and the space was perfect for it. Because the space can fit much bigger weddings, we hoped it wouldn’t feel too spread out, but it was the opposite. It was intimate and special in every way possible! The Fire House KC team worked diligently alongside my wedding planner & vendors to make sure the day was as perfect as can be. No details were left untouched and we had absolutely no issues from start to finish. They were amazing! We are forever grateful. Highly recommend this venue for all weddings, big and small.

I was the mother of the bride at the Firehouse. I was so pleased so impressed everything was sooo nice so professional but yet very personable. I would highly recommend this venue. We everyone loved it so many compliments. I would highly recommend this venue just perfect!!!

We LOVED Fire House KC and so did our guests! The upstairs private room is perfect for wedding parties, cocktail hours, pictures, and getting ready! Would not recommend over 80 indoor people for seating sake!

Katie helped with booking our wedding at the Firehouse KC. The space was very rustic and beautiful we were able to keep the firehouse in for decor. The bridal sweet was super spacious and had plenty of room. We utilized both bars . The cleanup crew worked super fast and were extremely friendly

Fire House KC was incredible! When we first toured the venue, my husband and I fell in love with the historic charm, the architecture, and the fun decor from the building’s years as a fire station. Throughout the planning process, Katie, the venue manager, was so kind, helpful, and super organized. Communication about our wedding day was always clear, and Katie was very responsive to questions and concerns. Our wedding day was magical and everything we dreamed it would be! We had a fairly small wedding (less than 60 guests), and it was the perfect size for our family and friends. While the weather did not cooperate for the outdoor wedding we had planned, the upstairs candle room was gorgeous and the perfect substitute. The sound system was excellent and the lighting was beautiful. We loved the getting ready suites for the bridal and groom parties, too. Fire House KC is the perfect venue for small, intimate weddings!

We loved working with Katie and her team! She was quick to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Other staff were very helpful day after she had left as well. We booked the venue almost two years in advance so we had a slightly different contract than offered now, meaning we had access to the space as early as 8am day of. We needed some of that time for hair and make up but ultimately, as they already had tables and chairs ready, set up only took us about an hour with our rehearsal time the day before.
Parking is a little rough as guests need to use street parking or the church across the street but Katie will give you a map to share with guests. Let’s hope yours look at it more than ours.

We fell in love with the Fire House the moment we toured! Absolutely loved everything about this venue from the beautiful courtyard to the original fire pole. It is an absolutely beautiful venue that was perfect for our wedding! Katie is amazing and was a huge help every step of the way! They did everything possible to make our special day a dream come true. The Fire House will forever have a special place in our hearts!

This venue was the very first that we visited and, honestly, the other venues we looked at afterwards didn't really have a fighting chance. As first responders ourselves, my wife and I loved how the FireHouse created such a beautiful space while still maintaining the historical aspects of the building. We were blessed with perfect weather, so we got to enjoy the full extent of the property including the outdoor courtyard for our ceremony and the upstairs space for our rehearsal brunch that morning. Our guests just loved all the unique features, and our photographer was over the moon about shooting in such an eclectic space. It is truly one of the most unique venues you can find in KC.
As for the staff, we can't say enough thanks to Janelle and Katie. Both were extremely responsive via email and helped out so much over the wedding weekend. We hired Katie fairly last minute to be our day-of-coordinator and she was SO WORTH IT! She was so easy to work with and executed our decor vision perfectly. Our wedding day was stress-free as she handled all vendor communications, site set-up, and last minute decor details. She even worked with us to pick some items up a few days later that we had accidentally left behind. Truly one of our best financial investments of the day! If in doubt, definitely hire Katie.

This space is perfection! It has historic charm and is incredibly unique. I attended 2 weddings over the past year, one was small and intimate while the other was your typical wedding size, so I love that it accommodates what you want it to be. Would recommend this to anyone for any event!

I hosted my baby’s gender reveal party at Fire House KC and it turned out truly fabulous! The venue is one of a kind and made gorgeous photos. The staff was beyond helpful and went above and beyond! I would highly recommend using this venue for any gathering or event you have! I will for sure be using them again in the future!

I attended The Fire House KC as a guest for 2 wedding in 2021 and was blown away and impressed on both occasions. One of the ceremonies was indoors and the other was in their outdoor space. Loved both! The historic space is so gorgeous both weddings had minimal decorations because it wasn’t needed. 100% would recommend to anyone!

We planned our wedding in less than 5 days due to a family illness and Fire House KC Staff was remarkable! Both my father and grandfather worked as firemen at this station, so it was truly special to exchange our vows under the same firehouse roof. An intimate evening with so much love and we couldn't have dreamed of it any other way. Everyone who attended was in awe of the space. Thank you for making such a beautiful, historic venue in KC and making our wedding day just perfect.

My wife and I had our wedding here. Absolutely beautiful venue. My wife’s dad actually had a few shifts as a fireman here and this brought back good memories. Very cool what they did inside and outback and kept the firemen charm. Part of KC history here and they did a very good job. All of our friends commented and said how cool it was.

Our wedding is coming up in 3 weeks and we could not be more thrilled to have all our friends and family come celebrate with us at Firehouse KC Event Space!!! It is one of the things we are most excited about outside getting married of course. The space is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be more friendly, enthusiastic, warm, and easy to work with!!! We adore Natalie and Janelle. They have made the planning 100 times easier and more enjoyable for us.

This Event Space was AWESOME. The Fire House Coordinator was fantastic to work with and made our planning efforts so easy.
We had a surprise 80th birthday party for my mom and this place was perfect. If you want a modern venue, with an outdoor area, up to date technology and with most of what you will need on site, this is the place to book. In addition the rich history of this building is great for conversation.

The space was beautiful and perfect for our event. Natalie was incredibly accommodating both with us and our vendors. We even had a bit of an issue--not their fault--that the Fire House team managed quicker than I believed was even possible. The space is fairly new and there are a few things still being tweaked, but all in all, it was a fantastic space and we loved it.
