My husband and I had lessons with Vlad for our first dance - I can’t express how highly I recommend Vlad + Firebeat!!! As two people who have never really danced before, we were a bit nervous going into our wedding and wanted to have a great first dance. Vlad was honestly such a blast to work with and we looked forward to all our dance lessons. Vlad was so patient with us, so thorough, and helped us so much. Now that our wedding is over, we can’t wait to keep coming here to expand our skills in dancing and keep this new hobby going!

Vlad helped us immensely with our first dance for our wedding! Over the course of five classes, we went from having virtually no coordination to being able to dance the foxtrot. Vlad is intentional, patient, and very skilled. We had a lot of fun and recommend Firebeat to anyone looking to learn to dance.

I was referred to Firebeat Ballroom from some friends of ours and decided we would go because my wife and I wanted our first dance to really stand out. I also took separate dancing classes with my dad, because he and I wanted our father-daughter dance to be different and memorable. My dad and I, and my wife and I both had Brad as a teacher and he was unbelievable. We had the best time. It was fun and he made us feel comfortable when dancing in front of people can sometimes be nerve racking. Since we had such a positive experience, we recommend it to everyone, and even plan on going back for group lessons. Highly recommend.

Vlad is a miracle worker! We had absolutely no dance experience and Vlad helped us feel comfortable and confident with just a few lessons leading up to our Wedding. He is an amazing teacher, extremely personable, and funny which helps you get through those few awkward moments when you realize you thought you knew your left from your right, but maybe not! He helped us learn the basics and grow from there all the way to lifts and dips that left our guests in shock! The entire staff at Firebeat is warm and welcoming and their facility is great. They allowed us to practice whenever we wanted outside of our lesson!

Vlad is the best! We did 3 classes with him and loved every minute of it. The staff and space itself are excellent and they even brought a champagne toast for our last class! Thank you firebeat!!

My dad and I took several dance classes with Brad leading up to my wedding and we had the absolutely beat time and such an amazing dance for the big day! Everyone absolutely loved it. We took a set of three 1-on-1 lessons with Vlad at Firebeat for our wedding first dance and it could not have gone any better. Vlad was really great to work with and helped us not only have a really special first dance, but to also feel comfortable doing it. I'm the furthest thing from a dancer or even comfortable on a dance floor, but Vlad was so easy to work with and really came up with a great routine that fit both our unique song choice and our personalities and skills. We booked 6 classes with Brad to create a memorable first day for our March 2018 wedding! We loved every session and always looked forward to our next visit. We chose a song, and Brad helped us learn different moves to incorporate into a fully choreographed dance. Brad's patience and thoughtful choreography made each session very enjoyable. We visited multiple weekend days to practice, as you are able to visit whenever to use empty space. We loved surprising our 200-guest wedding with our special dance! I highly recommend visiting Firebeat and working with Brad for your special dance!

We loved working with Brad! We came in with little to no ballroom dance experience and took 5-6 lessons with him. We told brad we were interested in learning a few key moves for our big day (without needing to memorize a choreographed dance), and he worked with us closely to prepare us for our first dance song! We had lots of fun learning and practicing with him, and we think the first dance was a hit and we had so much fun during it. And even when the unexpected came up we were able to go with the flow and had plenty of moves at the ready (without anyone the wiser) thanks to his teaching. Firebeat as a studio was also great to work with. We loved the other instructors and staff members we met, and also took advantage of the opportunity to use the open studio space to practice our dance. We highly recommend Firebeat!

Long story short, we had an idea of what we wanted to do- something wild. We knew this was asking a lot since we only had 2 months to get a routine down. Despite breaking our promise to not have a beverage before dance time, we still blew everyone away. Our final product was worth every penny, and we still go back to add more to what we've already learned.

Thank you Brad for being so flexible and for putting up with me and my husband! He was amazing to work with and really went out of his way to get to know us so our dance made sense for who we are as a couple. I could not be happier with how the dance and music came out and am forever grateful to this studio and to Brad's wonderful attention.

We decided to take dance lessons 3 weeks before our wedding. Brad listened to our song and whipped up some steps for us to use and a plan of when to do them so that we would feel more confident on the dance floor. It came out great. Everyone at the studio is very friendly! Tip: If you are thinking about taking lessons, start sooner than we did!

Took dance lessons with Brad at Firebeat to prepare for my wedding. He was great! Super easy to work with and was a wonderful teacher.

Brad helped us narrow down our first dance song and figure out the type of dance we wanted to do (how many choreographed parts, moves, etc). He choreographed moves into the dance taking into consideration photo ops and where the guests would be viewing from which really paid off in our photos. Brad loves what he does and wants both the bride and groom to be comfortable and confident. He'll arrange a time that works for you and a schedule to make sure you're ready to go for the big day.
