rvice was impeccable and we loved the romantic ambience of the main dining room! Firefly serves some of the best food I have ever had in my entire life. Every dish is thoughtfully created with perfectly balanced flavors and artistic presentation. All four courses, from the bread (three unique spreads), soup (the she-crab soup is so rich and creamy and we love the mini puff pastries), salad (hydroponic lettuce with goat cheese and strawberries melts in your mouth) and the entrees (fabulous steak with lobster, delicious fish, tender chicken, vegetarian/vegan) were mindblowing! Our guests were raving that this is the best wedding dinner they have ever had!! The service was so impressive. For each course, a big group of waiters comes to the table and everyone is served at the same time - super cool. The waiters were very attentive and made sure our guests were never without a glass of their fantastic cocktails or wine. The main dining room is beautiful. We love the faux oak tree in the middle decorated with lights. It makes you feel like you're outdoors, but without any mosquitos! It was difficult to get a manager on the phone the first few times I called Firefly, but that was my experience with other venues too. Once I got in touch with Derek and got his personal cell number, communication was really easy. Derek was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is super friendly and patiently answered all my questions. He was very flexible and willing to work with us so our reception would look the way we wanted. Reserving the main dining room for Saturday night with an open bar was not cheap, but the total cost was less than some of the nicer reception venues along 30A. Overall, the amazing food was worth the price! We highly recommend Firefly as a wedding reception venue!
