We (Maurice & Carrie) are a husband/wife wedding videography & production team who have captured over 250 weddings throughout Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana since we officially founded Firefly in 2014. When making wedding films, our goal is to capture all that makes each couple unique. We want your final films to be genuine, real, and very complete in capturing the feel & emotion of your wedding day story. I love seeing my granddads reaction and my grandma sewing her dress into my dress. It’s amazing to see everything we felt that day over and over. We can not wait to get our full video! use from the company, we received our highlight September 5th, over two months late. The video was great and we loved it, however the customer service of this company is truly a nightmare. Each email contains a new excuse as to why it’s not ready. Our full feature video, promised December 2nd, is still not complete. I was sent an email on December 9th saying they estimated another week. It is now January 26th with no video. Customer service is everything to me and even though we loved our video, I’m sad to say I wish I would’ve spent the extra money to have a company give me my video on the days they promised me. I’ve also spoken to other brides who have had the same issues from this company, excuse after excuse. This has truly been a nightmare to deal with.

Carrie & Maurice Barnes

Owner

Maurice's story begins in the far west suburbs of Chicago, where he's had a creative fire lit brightly within him since he & his older brother Michael were small children, writing scripts & filming them with their aunt's Super 8 Film camera. In 1998, Maurice began capturing weddings & creating unique keepsake videos for local couples. In May 2014, he partnered with Carrie - a long-time friend (now wife) & fellow creative mind - to form Firefly Productions. Their eye for detail, along with their friendly & unobtrusive style, has led them to capture over 250 weddings and counting.
