Cassie was an amazing photographer to work with! Even though we were living out of the area while planning the wedding, Cassie was accommodating in the planning process. She takes a photo-journalism view, which allows her to capture the story of the wedding day, not just take pictures. I was concerned that by only having 1 photographer, many of the details would be lost. I couldn't have been more wrong. Cassie was everywhere. She captured all of the details of getting ready, the small details that we wanted captured (invite, shoes, rings, etc), and she seemed to get every angle during the ceremony and reception. That being said, our guests hardly realized she was even there. Only 2 weeks after the ceremony, she sent us all of our pictures on a flash drive. We had almost 1000 pictures (after she sifted through, threw out, and edited some). We loved our experience with Cassie! We would recommend this photography service to everyone!!!

Cassie was just fabulous! She really made the event! She had scoped out the place ahead of time (the grounds around the wedding chapel) and already had so many neat poses and settings picked out that I would have never thought of. We had decided to have pictures taken before the ceremony and Cassie suggested setting up a 'First Look' picture so that she could capture that excitement. That ended up being the most special moment of the entire day and the pictures totally reflect how me and my groom were feeling! It was rainy at first and humid and I was just sure that the pictures would be lackluster, but Cassie worked her magic and the pictures really blew me away. She took all the family shots that we requested, created some really creative shots of the two of us, captured all details of the ceremony, and had some great candid shots! There are so many pictures that I will cherish for a lifetime. And not only do they capture the emotion they also are beautiful. The color and set up and artistic quality is just wonderful. She also was so good to work with - so on top of things but yet relaxed and fun. Her personality made such a difference in how pleasurable everything was. We felt like we were in our own private photo shoot. It was such a magical day! I would highly recommend Cassie for any photography needs!

When we were in the planning stage of our wedding, we contacted Cassie only as a bartender. Once we found out she did photography we were hooked! (in a good way). My now wife loved working with Cassie. Cassie was always available for emails, texts, and phone. Every bit of prep work before wedding was completed very well and she made us feel comfortable. Hugh plus. Let me tell you about our wedding. First off it could not have been a better day. Cassie was everywhere!! Every photo we requested was taken. I believe she ended up taking over 3000+ pictures. You would have thought she had identical sisters taking pictures with her because she was everywhere all the time. We loved every picture she sent us. The bartenders went above and beyond the call of duty. I do not think any of our guest had an empty drink all night. They were very professional!! I would totally recommend anyone to Cassie and her Crew!! They are the best!!! You will not find a better person, photographer, bartenders, and friend any where.

​I cannot even begin to explain how happy I was with FireRose and Cassie in general. Her pictures were professional, beautiful and most of all, fun. She showed her professional side with always being on time and prepared. The day we first met her, she came with her computer to show sample pictures and documents that we were able to go home with if we had further questions. On the day of the engagement photos, she arrived with many different poses and shots that she loved and that I had requested. She was able to pose us without looking posed. She showed her fun side by laughing with us and making jokes, all of which led to my husband and I being very comfortable with her. The most amazing part of all of the work she put in was on the actual day of the wedding itself. She did not put the camera down at all. She took over 1000 pictures and sent me EVERY SINGLE ONE. A month later, I am still looking through the pictures finding new favorites. During the wedding, I had several guests comment to me how hard she was working. Overall, I highly recommend Cassie to anyone looking for a photographer. I am excited that I now know someone who I can always count on for beautiful, professional photos (newborn pics soon?? hopefully!!)

Hiring a photographer for your wedding can be a nerve-racking experience especially when searching online. Right from our first meeting with Cassie we knew we found the right one for us. Not only was Cassie detailed in finding out what moments were important to us, but she also took the time to find out what our vision for the wedding would be. During the wedding she made sure to get the photo’s we requested and also captured several great candid shots that we really appreciated. Many of our guests commented on how active she was and stated we were going to have great pictures. When she got our pictures to us in less than 2 weeks we were very pleased to find our guests were right. The photos were all just fabulous! The only problem face now is trying to down which photos to print. We honestly couldn’t be any more pleased with the service Cassie was able to provide and would recommend her to photograph your next event. Marsha and Stevan Stanisic

Is it possible to give 10 stars? My husband and I were beyond satisfied with the service and pictures produced by Cassandra with Fire Rose Photography. We hired her because of her area of expertise, photojournalism. Fire Rose Photography truly made our wedding stress free. All of our questions were answered in a timely manner, whether through email or phone, thanks to the awesome owner Cassandra UySmith. Cassie scheduled appointments for our motorcycle themed engagement shoot and bridal shoot. She arrived before start time to set up and was well prepared with a list of shots to make sure that she captured for us. She made us feel comfortable, and believe me, we are the most awkward people in the world. Additionally, she is very easy to work with and was so much fun getting my bridesmaids involved in the pictures. This was so much fun. We received 98 still images for the engagement shoot, which was amazing in less than a week. Cassie, thank you for the photo shop, I looked amazing. =) She was very creative with this and went downtown Raleigh on her own time to locate shots for this shoot. She found a wall that had “Hold My Hand” spray painted on it. This was a perfect touch to a picture we got. For the Bridal Shoot, we received 97 still images in a week. Even though this was a rained out shoot, Cassie worked with the weather and still made this experience one in a lifetime. As I was very impatient awaiting the photos, she worked very hard and produced them before she originally said they would be ready. When we received the 834 still images about one week after the ceremony through Fire Rose Photography website, we were blown away by the photos. The images consisted of the perfect mixture of photographic styles. Additionally, Cassie truly utilized our surroundings to capture some awesome images--a stained glass window on the balcony within the chapel, my daughter and I walking down the sidewalk and an image of my mother in the side of the limousine are just few of the many awesome shots she was able to capture.
