Fireside Winery in Marengo, IA is a family-run winery and wedding venue where heartfelt celebrations come naturally. The Wyant family can’t wait to welcome you to the winery, an inviting countryside escape with beautiful event spaces, thoughtful hospitality, and the five-star care you deserve on your wedding day.
For five generations, the Wyants have farmed the land, growing corn, soybeans, and strong eastern Iowa roots. Fireside Winery was created in 2007 and grew from their “life’s too short” philosophy: a love of wine, community, and creating spaces where people can relax and truly enjoy life’s biggest moments. When you celebrate here, you’ll sip wines made from Iowa-grown grapes, soak in peaceful vineyard views, and share the day with your favorite people in a setting that feels warm and welcoming.
Your wedding day should feel like you, and we offer a variety of flexible spaces to bring your vision to life. In the warmer months, you can exchange vows outdoors at the vineyard verandah, mainstage verandah, or arbor. Larger celebrations of up to 175 guests fit beautifully in our Outdoor Pavilion, while more intimate gatherings of 65 or fewer enjoy the charm of the Cellar Room and the cozy elegance of the Tasting Room.
Our customizable packages include wine tastings, table rentals, an on-site event manager, outdoor lighting, bar service, setup, teardown, and the freedom to bring your favorite caterer. Just share your ideas with our team, and we’ll help craft a wedding day that feels effortless, beautiful, and unforgettable.

We’re from DSM, staying for a night in Amana, and visited the winery on a whim… turned into the BEST part of our trip!! We tasted a variety of wines and beers - all of them were delicious, I couldn’t believe the wine is from an iowa vineyard! -...
and the charcuterie board and brie cheese was fantastic! We’re definitely planning to return in the summer so we can enjoy the patio.

First time here and we will return! Super friendly lady working. Wines were delicious and so were the snacks offered with the tasting. We will be back here!

Nice wine tasting, flights served with cheese, pretzels and crackers. Good indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing place to visit!
Located in Amana Colony. There were different options to try and lots of locally made items to purchase. Canned jams, veggies, sauces, spices, wine, and more.

In August 2025, we visited the Fireside Winery at the Amana Colonies in Amana, Iowa. The Fireside Winery has colorful outdoor glass bottle sculptures on display. The Amana Colonies are a collection of 7 Colonies of German Heritage in Central ...
Iowa, and they are not Amish. The Fireside Winery was fun to visit and see the outdoor decorations. Besides the Fireside Winery store, there are also many quaint shops and buildings, and they are all clean and well-maintained. Apparently, the Amana Colonies draws the highest number of visitors of any tourist attraction in Iowa. We greatly enjoyed visiting the Fireside Wine, which is part of the Amana Colonies.
