Shortly after my husband and I got engaged, we knew that we wanted to get married at Firestone Vineyards! He lived in Los Olivos, and was in the wine industry, so we already knew w...
hat a GORGEOUS location the tasting room and vineyard was! We booked Firestone a year and a half in advance, and we looked forward to our upcoming wedding in July of 2016. We worked closely with Tana Cowin, and members of the tasting room staff. They were very attentive to us and made sure that we had access to the grounds so we could thoroughly plan our big day! Their responsiveness and attentiveness was so meaningful and considerate!
Earlier this year there had been an unfortunate event with the grounds that we had originally booked to hold our ceremony. Tana was very upfront with us and worked hard to make sure that we could explore different options for our ceremony changes. We were very pleased with every aspect of our wedding! Our event was incredibly smooth, from beginning to end! We loved our big day at Firestone Vineyards, and we feel so lucky to have worked with such lovely people!
Our guests were mesmerized by the ceremony under the big oak tree on the vineyard mesa overlooking the rolling California hills dotted with the oaks and the vines ripe pre-harvest....
The terrace provided a magical vista of the rolling hills with a garden of lavender for cocktail hour. We lit the stone and ivy courtyard with additional string lights and up lights to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. No one wanted to go home at the end of the night!
Firestone provides the entire property, which includes a full kitchen, some rentals and lighting, and a recommended vendor list. You need to hire a wedding coordinator, caterer, rentals, etc. If you use the vineyard mesa, you'll also need to hire a shuttle for guests. The events staff is fantastic and are available to help answer any questions on additional vendors.
Good fortune provided excellent weather, natural light and a comfortable temperature for an outdoor event in late summer.
Our June wedding at Firestone was wonderful. The wedding team headed up by Rachel was so polite and helpful. Even though they host a lot of weddings the service felt very personal...
and warm. They were kind and fun to work with. The location itself was perfect.
Firestone was the perfect place to get married. All my guests raved about how beautiful the venue was.
It was absolutely the perfect wedding setting. We searched high and low for this ideal setting and finally found it. We got married under two trees overlooking a winery an...
d the beautiful rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley. Reception was in a beautifully restored barn overlooking the fields. The guests were in awe the whole time at how beautiful it was.
