Matt was an amazing dj at our wedding! He kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night. He was great and accommodating our requests and a pleasure to work with. I would high...
ly recommend him to anyone for any event :)
You guys - if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding - you NEED Matt (Ko)! Ko was one of the first vendors I booked. From the beginning, he felt like a long-time friend and was ...
so, incredibly personable. He carefully listened to all mine and my now-husband's requests, and made our wedding day feel just like a movie. If he didn't have the songs on his files, he went out and got them for me. If I wanted certain song cue in spots, he made it happen perfectly. Matt was incredibly detail oriented and made sure everything went off without a hitch. People were on the dance floor the whole darn night - including me!! First Choice is seriously that - a first choice for me! We are so glad we booked as Matt was one of our best and most favorite vendors. THANK YOU for everything!!
Matt with First Choice DJ Service provided EXCELLENT entertainment during our wedding. The ceremony sound was flawless and the dance floor was packed all night during our reception...
, thanks to him! My only advice is to be more direct if you want certain things - I had a list of must play songs and not all of them got played. It was a great night overall though, and I'd recommend them to anyone.
Matt is AMAZING! He was the DJ at my husband's brother's wedding and we knew when our day came, we wanted Matt there. He has such an energy and knows how to keep people moving! We ...
had so much fun on our big day and cannot thank Matt enough for making it so special!
Matt is the BEST!!! So professional and easy to work with. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! I received many compliments from guests that every single song they...
wanted to dance to. He kept things on time, checked in throughout the night, would go out of his way to make sure names were pronounced correctly. He was able to read the room so well!!! I highlighted a handful of songs from his large list of songs, I didn't want to have to pick every single song I wanted for the entire night (wedding planning is stressful enough!) and he was able to take that and expand on it and the dance floor was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding! One great thing about this DJ service is you are booking with Matt, you aren't booking a DJ service with 10 DJs and then have to gamble with which one you get. 1000000% recommend hiring Matt! So glad we did!
Matt was awesome to work with! I would highly recommend him! Guests loved the music at our wedding
We knew when we met Matt that he was the right choice for us! He was so patient through multiple COVID postponements, and we were so happy to have him as part of our “wedding famil...
y.” He was such a key element to the success of the day, and he made us feel completely at ease. He knows what he is doing! Everything was fantastic – the ceremony music was perfectly timed, and the rest of the reception went off without a hitch. He went above and beyond, kept people on the dance floor until the venue closed, and made people (like my 10-year-old niece) feel special. It was such a joy to have Matt as a part of our day, and we miss having the excuse to talk with him! Thank you, Matt!
We had a great feeling about Matt right off the bat during our first phone call. And he continued to impress us in follow-up conversations, meetings and ultimately our amazing wedd...

mpliments on the music and Matt's ability to read a room and know the perfect song to play. He is very friendly and went out of his way to make the night easy and enjoyable for us.

You will not be disappointed with Matt! He is a joy to work with and very professional. His kindness radiates through each interaction.

talent! We met with him once before the wedding but emailed and texted many times. He got a good feel for what kind of music and environment we wanted and did a phenomenal job. He was interactive with our guests and played a good variety of music for all the different ages that were on the dance floor. I highly recommend Matt! You will not be disappointed!

highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a DJ and MC for their event!
Matt is a joy to work with! He is very responsive and timely via email during the planning process and does a fantastic job of balancing what he knows to be successful based on his experience in the event industry while also being open to new ideas and personal touches you might want to add to your event. With Matt as the leader, we had a strong presence on the dance floor all the way to the end of the night AND THEN SOME! We could not be happier with our decision to have Matt be a part of our special day!
Matt was amazing and so entertaining!! He played a wide variety of music that our guests requested, from Slipknot to Taylor Swift. Matt is an awesome guy and I would highly recomme...

band before our first dance and Matt took the extra time to find the exact karaoke music I needed! Our guests absolutely loved him! He was so accommodating! I told him I was in need of a limbo stick and I completely trusted him to find one and remember to bring it! There was NO doubt in my mind that our reception was going to be absolutely amazing thanks to Matt! And it was even better!!

end of the night, we had to have had over 100 people on the dance floor. It was the biggest party at midnight that I have ever seen. Matt just knocks it out of the park every time. We've been to a couple other weddings that Matt did and he was excellent at those as well. I loved working with Matt and he does an Amazing job!!
Matt with First Choice Entertainment was EXCELLENT! He was easy to work with, "go with the flow", and very organized. He had a huge selection of songs that we went through prior to...
the wedding, but also played requests and played songs that went with the current vibe. He was entertaining and kept people dancing all night long! We paid a little extra so he would travel to Rochester, MN, but it was totally worth it!
First off, we've been asked about 10 times since our wedding how we found Matt, followed by rants and raves about how awesome he was! He made our dance so fun and added the perfect...
touch of humor and silliness. A hundred times over I would use him again. His personality, level of interaction, music selection and entire persona fit perfectly with ours and our guests'! I couldn't even say thank you enough to him for making our wedding dance PERFECT.
Matt Kottefka was the best part of the wedding! He was as interactive as we asked and made the planning process effortless. He likes to scope things out himseft for set-up...one le...
ss thing you need to worry about! And in the middle of the reception when I wanted a song-he knew I was coming to ask him something before I even got there. He was very in tune with what we wanted and it couldn't have gone better!

id very close attention to detail and was very flexible (we had to change our ceremony indoors at the last minute due to rain and he was right there helping us make sure it happened without a hitch)! I highly recommend Matt, you will be thrilled!

t he is very successful at but DJ's because he enjoys helping people have a stress-free day. That is definitely what he provided for us. As promised, he was there early and he got people to dance! (Not to mention, he has a great announcers voice!) Thank you Marcel for making our day special... our friends said they haven't been to such a great wedding in a long time. We KNOW that a DJ can make or break a wedding, and you made it a memorable and fun-filled evening. -Michelle
