First Class Travel is a family owned business for 34 years. We specialize in romance travel. We cater to the discerning traveler who has an extreme appreciation for a "First Class" vacation! Online shopping is fun, pictures are always beautiful, and good marketing can make anything look spectacular! But when you are in need of a high quality vacation experience, you want to be certain that it is FIRST CLASS! That's when you come to First Class Travel! For more than 30 years, we have put smiles on thousands of faces. We've been to these resorts, and on these cruises, and therefore we can provide insight far beyond photographs and propaganda. We can give you a firsthand account of what you can really expect. Kathy opened in the business in 1988, after graduating from Widner University with a degree in Travel & Tourism Management. Kathy's passion for travel has created lasting relationships with clients for over 30 years! Selena is Kathy's daughter, and joined First Class Travel after graduating from Drexel University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business Administration. Selena worked in the Sales & Catering industry at top Philadelphia hotels and then joined First Class Travel 6 years ago. "Booking our clients special vacations isn't just a hobby for us, it is a true passion and skill that we take very seriously and of course, always have fun doing it!" Amalfi and the beautiful island of Sicily. We stayed in beautiful and historic hotels and were provided guides and drivers at each location to help us make our way. The guides were informative and kind and we learned SO much from their stories. If it wasn’t for the guides, we wouldn’t have found so many hidden gems throughout our trip!
We began our journey in Venice. This was probably the coolest city to start our trip! After landing at the airport and navigating to the exit, we had a guide meet us and we did not have to question where or what to do! We immediately hopped on a cute little water taxi and rode through the sea over to the main island and our surroundings were stunning! When we were dropped off, we roamed the gorgeous streets and alleys of the city, shopped, and of course ate amazing food. Our first morning waking up in Venice was directly out of a Disney movie! Our hotel was adjacent to a waterway where Gondolas would pass through and we woke up to the Gondoliers singing as they prepared for the day. I couldn’t believe it. Later that day, we had our Gondola ride which was so calming and romantic. We spent the rest of our time getting lost along the seaside piers, eating tons of gelato & cannolis, and experiencing the historic surroundings like St. Mark’s Square and the Basilica!
Our favorite experience was a cooking class we attended in Sorrento with the one and only Chef Tony. We were paired with another couple on their honeymoon as well and together we made the most WONDERFUL homemade pasta, meatballs and tiramisu! It was a cultural experience we won’t soon forget and we’re grateful to be able to take home a traditional, homemade Italian meal with us.
Our final experience was Palermo on the island of Sicily. It was quite possibly our favorite place aside from Venice. Our tour guide through Palermo was what really made this stop such a memorable one. She taught us so much about the Sicilian culture and the similarities and differences between mainland Italians. We never would have learned this sort of thing just touring the city ourselves. She was funny and entertaining and even came prepared (with a scarf) when I didn’t realize that I would need to have my shoulders covered for the tour of Monreale! Palermo was such a cool city to explore with so many different stores, foods (Arancini!) and historical events to learn about. We also walked through the gorgeous gardens and learned about the history of the four corners in the main square! It was pure fun.
We couldn’t imagine going on this trip without Selena organizing and setting us up with such amazing tour guides. Our trip was educational, adventurous, magical and romantic. Of course, there are always minor things to quibble about when traveling but none of that is the fault of Selena or First Class Travel - mostly just miserable airport workers! Considering how little time we provided Selena and how quickly she was able to book everything, we couldn’t have been more impressed and thankful. We highly recommend Selena and First Class Travel. We most certainly will be using them to book in the future!

s one. The staff was extremely nice and really helped you with whatever you need. There are a lot of weddings at this resort. The day of my wedding they had three other weddings going on that day so at times I do think they bite off more than they can chew mainly because of few wedding staff. We use the spa for hair and make up I had eight other girls get their hair and make up done and we all loved it. I purchased a bridal suite package but the main bridal suite was not available that day so I received a back up one. There were some hiccups in this bridal suite back up so I would advise not to book the bridal suite unless you have a main one but I could not speak highly enough about the hair and make up stylists. Other than that everything was perfect and the wedding was so much fun. It was warm on the beach during the ceremony but you could expect that I think anytime of the year. we lucked out that it did not rain since it was hurricane season so we are happy about that. I absolutely loved the sky terrace for the reception it was beautiful and we had it at sunset which made it even better. The food was good and we hired an outside DJ - DJ Makuto - which I highly recommend. Overall I would give this venue a 8 out of 10.

Everything was provided to us in easy to read travel documents and all transfers from hotels and resorts were ready to go (we transferred using cars, vans, boats, and planes with EASE!)

mportant to us - a direct flight from Philadelphia, an all-inclusive/adults only resort, a swim out room and the opportunity to see beautiful waterfalls (my fiancé/husbands only request). Within a day, Selena sent us a ton of great options and when we finally narrowed down Jamaica as our destination, she went above and beyond to help us cross off all of the items on the wish list. Within a few days our flights, private transportation, resort reservations, and club MoBay access (which expedited us through security/customs and allowed us access to a private club with free food & drinks) were confirmed and Selena sent over a detailed document with every bit of information we could possibly need! Our arrival in Jamaica was flawless and our private car was waiting for us with food and ice cold Red Stripe! When we arrived at the resort it was everything we could have hoped for and more! The resort was clean & well maintained (very important in a post covid world), the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating and our swim out room with an ocean view was amazing! We also decided a that we wanted to plan an excursion and Stephanie helped us plan the perfect day - a day trip to YS Falls where we ziplined, got to spend the afternoon at the waterfalls and got to experience true Jamaican food and learn about the history and culture of the island. Selena was really easy to schedule time with and was also responsive via email and cell phone. She also helped us push the resort to communicate more timely when our wedding date was fast approaching and they were taking weeks to respond (be prepared for island time). There was a miscommunication on the return airport transportation for a few guests on part of the local vendor and Selena made sure everything got worked out and even refunded all of our guests return transportation, so even when things didn't go exactly as planned they were so responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend Selena for your destination wedding travel needs.

Sadly, the location would not open in time for our honeymoon due to COVID and my travel agent was on top of the entire thing. She quickly researched options to supplement at no additional cost. Our backup resort was exactly what we hoped for. The travel restirctions in addition required specific testing and docs to enter the country (many of wish we couldnt get until 3 days out - aka our wedding night). Our agent Selena was on top of everything constantly speaking with the board of tourism, ensuring we'd have our entrance docs back in time, and making sure we had no toube travelling. She provided so much guidance and assistance to us that we didn't have to worry. Getting married, let alone during a pandemic, is extremely stressful. This was like having a second, more knowledgable version, of myself to handle the honeymoon. The stress-free experience in the most uncertain of times is what First Class Travel provides.

Kathy and First Class Travel made this an absolute breeze (even if we made it slightly harder on her)....while our dates were picked, and a list of places and sights were created, we were provided with a near perfect itinerary from the get-go. There were some adjustments to be made (we preferred to not partake in a very-specific tour and opted for something different), but just like that...a new itinerary was sent with our requests, complete with a new schedule matching our wants and needs. Also, my wife had a specific location she wanted for lodging during part of the trip....First Class Travel made the arrangements to change the initial lodging.
The flexibility of the company was stellar, the communication was consistent and second-to-none. We received a package with a full itinerary, explanations, and vouchers, and while at first it was slightly overwhelming and potentially confusing, we were walked through every step of the process, every question was answered, and literally.....it could not have gone any smoother. Every taxi driver was paid for and arrived just as they were booked weeks and months prior...hotels had our name, knew we were already paid for including breakfast. Nobody needed to see vouchers, nobody had any questions, and yes....rooms were upgraded into executive suites on some occasions due to us being on our honeymoon.
If I HAVE to provide a negative, we were advised after booking that we needed additional money to secure our actual assigned seating on the plane, which I thought was already done at time of booking, HOWEVER...I am not a regular traveler, it was not a super-large fee, it would be incredibly naïve of me to think there would be no unforeseen cost with a lengthy vacation, and CERTAINLY was so minor that it would by no means prevent me from saying this is a five-star company that is absolutely worthy of booking future travel.
