ABOUT ONLINE WEDDING DANCE PROGRAMS
First Dance Charlotte's online wedding dance programs are perfect for beginners who want to learn how to look relaxed and natural during their first dance. Programs include a general course that teaches the basics of a wedding dance, including how to break away from the "prom sway," move around the dance floor, twirl your partner and dip without falling over. Custom choreography programs include all of the above plus how to put together the steps into choreography to specific first dance songs like Perfect by Ed Sheeran, Blessed by Thomas Rhett, All of Me by John Legend, Stand By Me by Ben E. King (and more!)
First Dance Charlotte's online programs are an affordable and fun way to learn your first dance in the comfort and safety of your own home. Alex is available for online consultations and Skype/Zoom lessons in conjuction with her online programs to help with any issues that you might run into while learning to dance at home. Programs start at $149 for lifetime access. You can also combine online programs with private lessons (for those who live in the Charlotte area) to polish what you learned or add on more steps!

We wanted to find an instructor that could merge our differences in comfort, skill, and dancing styles, and Alex did that and so much more. We met with Alex three times in person, but her online classes were a tremendous help to allowing us get comfortable slow dancing with each other! By the time we had our first meeting, we were already learning how to dip, somewhat confidently! How cool is that! Our in person meetings with Alex were delightful experiences. She was accommodating, supportive, and we always left feeling better than we did when we arrived! She made us feel confident, and ready to go. By our third meeting, it was as if we were regular friends!
The best part about it all was learning how to do our lift during the dance. My husband and I were both nervous about what a lift would look like for us, but man oh man did it rock at our reception! The guests went crazy loud and cheered, and it was such an amazing experience for us to have!
