We worked with Jerry to plan our Honeymoon to Italy. This was the absolute best decision we could have made. Jerry had been to Italy multiple times and his expertise led to the best honeymoon one could ask for. He helped us come up with an itinerary, flights, hotels, trains and car transportation. His help did not stop there, when we were going to miss our connecting flight due to an airline delay, Jerry took care of re-booking us on an alternate route that got us to our destination just a few hours later. He stayed late in the office until he was certain we were on our way. I will be using Jerry for every big trip we plan in the future, and I cannot recommend him enough for your next trip!

I had a friend that used First Discount Travel and recommended Jerry Katz to us. We were planning a honeymoon and I was way too scared to try and book something myself considering we wanted to go to Jamaica and neither of us have ever been out of the country. Jerry got back to us right away and made our entire experience stress free. Like I said, I had no idea where to even start except I knew I wanted to go to Jamaica. Jerry talked us through everything. Asked us what was and wasn’t important to us and asked our budget up front and NEVER questioned that budget once. He came back with multiple options and we needed up choosing a nicer one in Jamaica which is what we wanted. Jerry took care of booking everything for us and once it got closer we had a few phone calls to go over all the details. He went above and beyond to answer all my international travel questions (I had a lot considering this was our first time traveling out of the country and neither of us even fly a lot in general) Jerry answered emails within an hour or 2 almost every time and seriously made this experience so amazing and stress free. A lot of people told me I didn’t need a travel agent but I don’t think I will ever go without one again for international travel! Thank you Jerry!

Jess milano helped us plan and our trip went off without any hitches on planners part whatsoever!! We went in with a very vague idea about what we were hoping for, and Jerry asked all the right questions to help us hone in on what we really wanted. He was thoughtful about our budget and led us away from resorts that were out of range. He had recomendations on everything from the resorts themselves to the excursions to even the resort restaurants/bars! He also was very attentive and available to us to schedule calls to discuss options and plans. We absolutely loved our honeymoon trip and are already scheming about how we will get back to the resort for our next vacation. Could not recommend enough!

Wow, where do I even start?!? Highly recommend Jerry at FDTCincinnati!! Jerry helped me plan my destination wedding with immediate family to Cancun, Mexico and it was honestly the least stressful wedding planning. He helped me choose the perfect resort by asking the right questions as to what we were looking for. We wanted a small, simple wedding ceremony with a private dinner afterwards, while also having an affordable vacation for our guests, and Jerry delivered! He was very knowledgeable and attentive to any/all of our questions (and there were a lot!). Jerry not only helped me and my family with booking our stay but he even helped with correspondence with the resort wedding coordinator until I had everything booked and planned. Anytime I had issues with communication, Jerry was on top of it to get it resolved. The day of our travel we had a small hiccup (our flight was delayed and we weren’t going to make our connecting flight), but Jerry was once again attentive to my emails at 6:30 am to help plan our next course of action. Luckily we made it to our connecting flight, but Jerry being readily available that early on a Saturday morning speaks volume on his customer service. Overall, everyone was very pleased with their experience with Jerry and none of us wanted to leave Mexico! We can’t wait to use Jerry again for our next vacation.

Jerry helped us book our trip to St. Lucia Sandels for after the wedding. It was so simple and he was easy to work with, offering first hand advice on where to stay and the pro/cons of each resort. I heard about first travel from a co-worker. I needed help finding a place for my wife and I for an all-inclusive adult resort. The travel agent Jerry Katz gave us the best deal for a new resort in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. We had a room with a walkout pool and jacuzzi. The property has everything / all of the amenities. We hade the beach. We did not have to leave the property.

Jerry at First Discount Travel was great at helping us narrow down our honeymoon destination by what we both wanted out of a honeymoon and finding resorts that accommodated both our wants. Candice was the best. She helped us pick the location for our honeymoon and showed us great pictures of what the resort would look like. She also explained how we would get a direct flight from Cincinnati to Mexico. When the time got closer, Jerry (filled in for Candice while she was out), reached out and helped me get all the details and things to know about traveling internationally. One of the greatest decisions my now husband and I made was using First Discount Travel to plan our honeymoon. Brandee with FDT was the absolute best! She took down our interests and used these to show us resorts that she thought we would be interested in and was able to give us firsthand information about these locations! We definitely recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, Brandee recommended we do this and we are so glad we did! We ended up postponing our wedding in 2020 and rescheduling for 2021 and Brandee made all the changes and rebooked everything for us with the only additional cost being the higher cost of airfare! One less stress during postponing/rescheduling a wedding! Brandee also helped us plan a trip for our original wedding date so we could get out of town! We highly recommend FDT (Brandee!!) for any vacation needs big or small!

I will seriously never book a big vacation without their help again. I worked with Holly and she is absolutely AMAZING! To say she helped my husband and I book our honeymoon would be a gross understatement. Being 2020 and all the uncertainty that's gone on this year, we had to change our honeymoon completely several times for different reasons. Holly was there through everything, getting us the best room, being on hold with the airline idk how many times for COVID-19 updates and flight changes. She took care of everything, my honeymoon was the one thing I didn't stress over because I knew Holly was in charge. She's incredible and I can't say enough good things about her and FDT.

Candice was super helpful when it came to picking and finding the perfect place for our honeymoon! We told her our budget and a few destinations/resorts we "thought" we wanted to go, however we told her we wanted to get the most for our budget and she showed us other locations and resort chains. She helped us to find an amazing resort (Secrets Akumal!!) for more nights than where thought we'd be able to afford. She helped to arrange the flights and transport to and from the airport! We also found out 2 weeks before our wedding that we were moving across the county to a city we had never been to before and we contacted Candice to see if she could change our flights from Mexico to SLC super last minute, and she was able to do it with only a very minor cost increase. Saved the day!! She was also great at coordinating with the concierge at the resort to give us all of the fun perks of honeymooning! I was so unsure of how planning/booking with a travel agent worked, but Candice was extremely helpful in explaining everything. I would definitely recommend First Discount Travel!

I was referred to First Discount Travel by a friend and I can honestly say I was a little skeptical... I have never used a travel agent before and was thinking I could just plan my own honeymoon. I am so happy we booked our honeymoon through First Discount Travel. We worked with Jerry and actually booked our honeymoon pre-COVID. We went and met with him, talked about all of our options, he showed us photos, discussed weather, things to consider, etc and then made some suggestions. There was no pressure which was nice, because the first couple of places weren't really our vibe, but then he showed us this brand new resort in Cabo and we were in love so we booked that week. Obviously with COVID, we were a bit nervous to travel, but I spoke with Jerry and he actually had already been to Mexico with his family since this started and walked us through the differences. I felt so comfortable going on our trip knowing about the extra cleaning, lower capacity, etc... it was just nice knowing what to expect. Our honeymoon was perfect -- we had the absolute best time! The resort was beautiful, the weather was perfect and everything was beyond seamless. I loved that Jerry connected me with the concierge before we arrived to book dinner reservations, spa services and excursions. He really made it such a fantastic trip and we were so happy we used a travel agent! Definitely will use Jerry again for our next trip!!

Everything about our experience with First Discount Travel has been amazing. So much that we have continued using them for additional travel. It's so nice to know everything is taken care of and we don't have to go through all of the planning ourselves. Plus they always find the best prices!

No commission/fees & can cancel the trip the DAY of with roughly $100 insurance purchase - Why wouldn't you let them plan you vacation?! I was skeptical at first - but you can look up the prices on the internet and see they are not charging you extra. They get paid by the resorts. Brandee Reasor sent us several all inclusive choices in several different countries (Jamaica, Bahamas, Mexico) after determining a budget and listening to our preferences. She then went over why she liked the places (many she had been to) and pros and cons of all resorts we were interested in off her list. She looked up distances form airports and "hot spots" we may want to do excursions on (or not do them because they are too far away for us) . She was super informative and patient. Having someone stick to your budget and take the stress of planning away at no additional cost - Wish I would have found her earlier in life! We ended up going to Secrets Maroma in Cancun and had a great time for our Honeymoon. Note: The recommendations were not just Secrets, Beaches, or Sandals - she had a variety of brands of hotels. I recommended Brandee Reasor to my sister and brother-in-law who just wanted to stay some place in the US without having to take care of the planning (a quick get away) . They stayed at a Hilton in Destin and had wonderful time too with drinks on the beach, restaurants in the hotel and plenty of relaxation.

We booked our honeymoon with Holly at First Discount Travel. We are so glad we did because when COVID hit, our resort was closed and we had to change to a different destination. Holly made things smooth and easy. She recommended we change our resort to Secrets Maroma and it was awesome! We ended up getting a free night and a better price! She was also there to guide us on the new policies and procedures for Mexico so that we felt confident and safe. We will always use Holly and First Discount Travel!

First Discount Travel is an absolutely AMAZING company to use for your travel needs! I am currently working with Jess Milano for mine and my fiances honeymoon and she has gone above and beyond for us!! She has always been available with quick responses rather I needed to give her a call or email. My fiance and I ran into an issue with his passport and he needed to order his passport book vs the card he currently has, due to COVID they are not offering expedited shipping to ensure we would get his in time since we were under 5 weeks till we left for our honeymoon. I was freaking out thinking I had to cancel or push back our honeymoon since it would be so long till his passport came in. I emailed Jess and she immediately responded calming my nerves telling me it will all be okay and gave me exact instructions on what to do to help our problem. She recommended us contacting the Senator and explaining our issue to him to see if he could help ship his out quicker. We went to the Post Office for him to apply for his passport and I messaged the Senator explaining our issue asking for help. Within 2 weeks we received an email from their office saying his passport was arriving in 2 days!!! We are getting his passport in today and it shows its out for delivery and we still have 18 days left before we leave!! The help we got from Jess saved our honeymoon and I couldn't be more thankful! She is the nicest person I ever spoke with and is always so happy and willing to help! The resort she has us booked with is so incredibly beautiful that I cannot wait to go and explore it! It is absolutely breathtaking and is saying very safe with everything going on with COVID. I highly recommend First Discount Travel with anyone who wants to travel just on a vacation or for their honeymoon!
