The two reviews before mine (Carrie and Grace) really sum up our experience with Chicago's First Lady. Taylor at First Lady was a joy to work with. She was super communicative, answered all our questions, and worked with us when we had requests (e.g., doing the Horah on a moving boat!). First Lady supplies all of the alcohol and they have a set list of vendors. Some people might not like this but having some restrictions on wedding planning actually felt good and manageable (because planning can get out of control fast). We used Harry Caray's for food and they were awesome! We didn't use a DJ but made Spotify playlists that our coordinator managed from her iPad. We greeted each guest as they boarded the boat which a lot of people commented on. Our guests said it was the best and most unique wedding they've ever been to. We booked our cruise for Saturday night so we also got to see the Navy Pier fireworks which was a surprise for out-of-towners. We only had the boat from 7-11pm so the night went FAST.
Unbelievably EPIC! That is what our wedding was. Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. To be married while the boat is moving through downtown Chicago was incredible and our pictures are amazing. We were able to experience Saturday fireworks and they were in our face beautiful. If you are looking for something unique and memorable for not just you but also your guests, book now. We had a lot of kids and teenagers at our wedding and they were thoroughly entertained the entire time. I can't thank Chicago First Lady Cruises enough!
