I first reached out to First Table Studio to host a private mixology class for my sister and a few of her colleagues from Johns Hopkins a few years back. We wanted to do something different for a night out, something that wasn’t just dinner or another bar. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made. The setup was simple but thoughtful, the drinks were creative, and everyone was genuinely having fun. It felt effortless in the best way possible.
That night stuck with me. My wife and I started talking about how great it would be to have that same kind of experience at our wedding something that feels personal and memorable, not just the standard bar setup. So now we’ve got First Table Studio creating our signature cocktails for the big day in March.
What’s impressed me most is how easy they’ve made the whole process. Every conversation has been straightforward, they listen, and they actually care about getting it right. No over promising, just good communication and solid follow-through.

We hired First Table Studio to handle bartending for our small wedding party in downtown Jersey City. At first I wasn’t sure if it was necessary for such an intimate gathering, but Steve and his team made it absolutely worth it. The selection of beer and wine plus the delicious margaritas really leveled up our evening. Everything ran smoothly from setup to cleanup, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the night. Communication was clear, professional, and easy the entire way. If you want attentive bartenders and experienced staff to make your special night stress free, I definitely would recommend First Table Studio and would book them again in future!

As rewarding as it is to host small, private mixology classes, the foundation of our craft was forged in fast-paced upscale bars, lounges, hotels, and beloved local hangouts across Boston, Washington, DC, and Phoenix. Those years of high-volume service taught us precision, speed, and consistency. When you have served hundreds of guests in a night, you learn quickly that execution matters as much as creativity. That experience allows us to bring the polish of fine hospitality into any setting, from a backyard celebration to a black-tie gala.

I was born in Chicago and raised in the Bahamas by way of my mother, where hospitality is a way of life and every gathering feels like home. From there, life carried me across oceans to Barcelona and Seoul, where I learned to see the world through new eyes and embrace the beauty of culture, people, and connection.
Each place gave me something lasting. From the islands I carry warmth and ease, from Europe I carry artistry, and from Asia I carry precision and vibrancy. Together they shaped not only my craft but my perspective, reminding me how powerful it is to create moments where people can slow down, share a drink, and celebrate each other.
These experiences built not just my skills but my gratitude. Gratitude for every story shared over a cocktail, every laugh sparked at a bar, and every memory created when people come together. For me, bartending and mixology are more than services. They are living expressions of where I have been and who I am.
