I’m so glad we chose FirstVerse for our wedding reception. We found them at a bridal show in Nashville and enjoyed their energy. Everything from the first call where they presented the options to the client portal and pre-event call was so well done and easy to follow. When it came to the day of logistics, the team was on site and set up earlier than expected. We had the DJs and the photobooth. DJ O$he, Big Lunch, and Miss Nicki were absolutely wonderful. They matched the energy of our group so well and we had several guests express to us how fun they were. When Miss Nikki wasn’t running the photobooth, she was on the dance floor. Tony and the team were amazing. They kept the party alive and interacted so well with the guests. Our Photo Booth attendant was lovely and gave us a surprise book of all our guests’ photos. I highly recommend them for any event!

From beginning to end, everything was absolutely amazing! Customer service and clear communication are key to me and First Verse provided this beyond a doubt. From the start I knew what services were going to be provided, the amounts due and when, and what was expected of me ! The photo booth used was absolutely amazing and the best investment I made! Had the best experience with First Verse for our wedding! They had musical/audio services at both our ceremony and reception, as well as an awesome photo booth option for our reception. DJ Tony and his wife, Racene are phenomenal. The care and attention to detail throughout every single stage of my wedding helped me remain calm. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism shined through and everyone asked who was this crew and why haven’t they heard about them sooner. Okay friends listen up! First Verse Productions and more specifically DJ Tony is the man, the myth, the legend! We booked first verse productions well in advance for our wedding and throughout the entire wedding planning process they worked hand in hand with us to deliver the best time possible. He listened to our needs, wants and our definitely do not wants and delivered over 1000% day of! People were getting his cards and asking me for his info long after the wedding was over. If you are looking for a DJ for ANY event this is the company to be with!!! Thank you First Verse Productions and DJ Tony for giving us the best night of our lives!! PS- book the photo booth too! It was a HUGE hit.

I had the privilege of using this company for my wedding on 1-23-2021. They were AMAZING! We had such a good time and the DJ was great at reading the crowd. She even came out on the dance floor to show us how to do certain dances! I would definitely recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a fun, exciting and memorable DJ for their event! Tony with First Verse Production was a pleasure to work with as a vendor at Tenn River Place. We are a catering company and sometime are given touchy situations. He was a gem and so professional to work along side. He really know how to work a crowd. Keep in mind when doing your next event!!!

I wanted so desperately to give a good review, I really did. Unfortunately, I just can’t. I’m saddened, heartbroken, and disappointed by my experience. The only saving grace is a full refund. Tony was booked well over a year ago for my daughter’s wedding. Her and I had witnessed their energy level at the local bridal show and just loved their energy and excitement. I had researched other DJ’s and they just didn’t come close. DJ Tony was our requested DJ, sadly a few weeks prior to the event he asked if we would be willing to have one of the other DJ’s play, so that he could go to a family function. My daughter was sad, but much like me, we value family and accepted Tony’s replacement (Kris) So, we had our consultation (by phone) made sure all songs, details hashed out, and Tony assured us that he would pass the info to Kris. Well, wedding day comes, I have a moment between pictures to see it’s 4:04pm and no DJ. Immediately get on the phone, and so does my wedding coordinator, to find out where the DJ is. After 30 minutes, because I had to pass it to my coordinator to deal with, as I was back to getting pictures done, Tony had assured her that a replacement is coming, but he had to go home, change, get the equipment, and then set up. In other words, the ceremony that was supposed to start at 5, would be starting late. Nope, that’s not acceptable for me. So, I spoke with Tony, told him I will use a cell phone for the ceremony music, and then go from there. I was upset and frustrated. Two things I shouldn’t feel at my daughter’s wedding. So after the ceremony, DJ gets there and starts setting up. The cocktail hour lasted longer so that he could finish setting up, as I was told by the wedding coordinator, because I asked what the delay was because people were getting hungry and asking me. Only a handful of the songs I asked to have played at dinner were played. Then music that was not to be played till after 9pm, was played well before then. My mother finally had enough of the music at 7:46pm and left earlier than originally expected.  Song choices that I gave specific links for, were not played. The couple’s first dance song was one of them, the version they practiced their first dance for, was not the version played. Finally at 9:35, I called it quits and told him, to pack it up and call it a night. Later found out it wasn’t Kris’s fault. He tried to salvage a sinking ship. He felt horrible when the mother/daughter dance was given away to the groom/mother of groom, and he tried to play a song comparable. That mix up was not his fault. The wedding coordinator had it on her schedule because I had that printed before we spoke to Tony about no mother/son dance. Tony didn’t give, nor offer explanation to me for the reason Kris was late, but I know why, and again not Kris’s fault at all. Apparently the event was never put on the schedule and Kris was not given the information ahead of time. Mind you, I booked him and paid the deposit on July 22, 2019, for a wedding on October 20, 2020! Again, the only saving grace is my full refund. In closing, I wouldn’t recommend them to my friends and family, nor would I be able to trust Tony again, but if you take a chance on them, hopefully you will have a much better experience.

I loved First Verse Productions very much. The DJ was perfect, played every single song I wanted to hear, was there on time, available for any questions I had before hand and just all around amazing. He was the perfect MC. They also provided their own photo booth which was the biggest hit of the night! I would use them again and again for every event.
