First Wedding Dance, based out of Newburyport, MA, offers lessons and custom choreography for to-be-weds who want to dazzle their guests. The team here works hard to make the learning process as enjoyable as possible. They are happy to work with every couple, no matter how much or how little experience they have. First Wedding Dance is happy to work with couples throughout Boston, southern Maine, and New Hampshire's seacoast. The teacher here creates a dance to a song of your choice, making sure you're comfortable with every step. She loves being able to help her students discover a love of dance so they can truly enjoy their time on the dance floor. When planning your first dance, the team at First Wedding Dance takes your outfits and how they move into account. They want to make sure you're comfortable throughout the whole process, and design the dance with your footwear in mind, too. They are also happy to plan dances with the wedding party, parents-of-the-couple, and flash mobs.

Dale was incredible. My husband and I decided late in the game to take dance lessons. We only started about a month before the wedding. Dale took this in stride and choreographed a beautiful fun dance for us. My husband actually really enjoyed the lessons and the final show, and he is not a dancer! She was also able to squeeze in quick choreography for our parent dances as well. Could not recommend more!!

Dale is amazing! She took non-dancers within a month of our wedding and in 3 lessons gave us a broadway worthy dance routine. Our guests thought we had been dancing for months. They were floored (and us with them). I had no idea we had it in us but Dale did. Dale is so incredibly talented that our dance was the second favorite part of our day (after the ceremony). The lessons were some of our best date nights… I wish we could relive it all again. Don’t settle for the spin in place waltz!!!! Make your first dance amazing with Dale you will NOT regret it. Thanks again Dale, you made our day extra special and definitely a little saucy ;)

Dance lessons with Dale were so much fun! It was a really nice bonding experience with my husband leading up to the wedding, and one of the only times we were able to spend together having fun when we were so busy with wedding prep. We didn’t tell anyone we were taking lessons or planning a special first dance, so our guests were really wowed! When we went around to greet all the tables during dinner, everyone told us how amazing our dance was. Even weeks later people are mentioning it to us! We highly recommend lessons with Dale! We did moves we never would have thought possible and created such a special memory.

Dale made practicing for our first dance a fun date night experience! My husband wasn't sure that practicing would be necessary but after our first lesson he was hooked! We met with Dale for 3, two-hour sessions and by the end of it we had a one of a kind, choreographed first dance! It was a special moment for us to have and our guests were complimenting us on it all night! We couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Working with Dale was my favorite part of wedding planning! She created an amazing dance for us that fit both of our abilities, and she patiently worked with us to help us get the moves down. It was so fun to practice the dance at home, and we got rave reviews on the day of. It’s now 2 1/2 years later, and people still mention how fun our dance was. I would highly recommend First Wedding Dance- for us, it was time and money well spent, and I sometimes wish we could have Dale create dances for us just for fun :)

Dale was so much fun and her creative mind was just what we needed! She paid attention to every portion of our dance and every little detail and gave fantastic constructive criticism! We loved the beautiful location of our lessons and Dale was always looking for ways to make us the stars of the show! Would recommend to anyone!

Dale was amazing! My husband and I were not dancers until she helped us make our first dance one of the most memorable wedding moments! Dale put together a custom dance for us that was an absolute show stopper. Every one of our family members and friends were blown away. I love meeting the people that I will be working with, getting to know them, and creating a truly unique masterpiece for them on their day. It's remarkable to see the changes that occur as people learn and end up loving to dance. I appreciate the opportunity to spread the love of dance to everyone that will let me. Many people have come into the first lesson a little timid and a few minutes into it turn around and say "I love this, this is so much fun", Of course after the wedding, they come back and tell me how wonderful they felt on the floor and how magical it felt.
