ghting, and other reviews, it was clear Fitz was the photographer we wanted to move forward with. He arranged a call with us and we really appreciated how transparent he was with expectations (he takes 50-60 GREAT and purposeful photos an hour, not 100+ photos an hour), price (cost for him and 2nd photographer plus help planning a tentative schedule for the day), and helped us think of questions we hadn’t thought about before. He also met us in person before the wedding so we could iron out any concerns, he could get a pulse on who we are and what we’re all about to help get a sense of what kinds of pictures we’d take the day of. He was prompt and worked incredibly well with other vendors and our entire wedding party. We honestly never saw him throughout the entire wedding and reception but when we saw the pictures, we were so excited with what he captured! The best part is just a few days later, he had several “preview” pictures he sent over for us! Fitz was a great choice for us and we’d recommend him hands-down to any couple looking for a personalized experience with a professional memory- maker!

ok like your typical over exposed wedding photos. They were dramatic. They captured real moments. His use of lighting and his color profiles spoke volumes to us so we decided to reach out. Not long after, we booked him as well as his second shooter and they did not disappoint. Fitz was super responsive with all our questions and requests. AND he was on time the day of the wedding. There is no lag with Fitz. When he was shooting during the ceremony, we could hardly notice him and when it came time for formals, he works quickly and has a strong artistic vision. We don't feel like we know what we're doing when it comes to posing for photos but Fitz coaches really well and builds rapport while doing so. A few days after the wedding, we received several photos to sneak a peak and we were blown away. Some of the people that we showed the photos to asked for links to Fitz's website. We couldn't wait to see the rest. When we received and reviewed the full collection, we felt like we were able to relive the day again through the lens of a dramatic photo journalist. We are grateful to have had Fitz shoot our wedding. He is an extremely talented man and we wouldn't change our decision if we were to do it all over again.

His use of lighting and color create moments that pop off the page and captured moments like a true photojournalist. Looking for moments naturally much more than forcing uncomfortable poses. Fitz has the eye of a true artist. On top of the quality of his work, Fitz is a consummate professional. We really appreciated his professionalism and creativity throughout the day. He caught all the best moments and emotions without ever being in the way and worked very quickly to get all the most important shots. He really captured the love we felt so strongly at our wedding. We had so many guests comment on how great our photographer was at the wedding, and certainly once seeing some of our photographs since the wedding. We would chose Fitz again in a heartbeat!

n't realize how fast time slips by for the entire day of the wedding until it starts happening. Fitz knows how to anticipate a moment and seems so relaxed while a million things are happening. Even though he works fast, he does not compromise spontaneous creative decisions. I wanted to go with Fitz based on his portfolio alone- embracing dark tones, using color well, but he has a fun sense of humor that I don't think you'll find with every shooter. I was nervous as hell the day of the wedding, but the photos didn't show much of it at all. I never want to get married again, but a part of me wants to relive the fun moments of first look, cocktail hour, and our entrance. Luckily, our photos are stellar and really tell our story well. We're super happy we went with Fitz, he's a smart choice.

. He did such magnificent work that they were published in a magazine. Ever since then he has grown to become one of the best wedding photographers in LA. It was my turn to get married last weekend, and honored to have him shoot our Malibu beach wedding. Fitz captured everything beautifully. He was in constant motion to find all of the right angles and different lighting. The colors were soft and flattering, the compositions were balanced and dynamic. Everything was recorded from our special day, from tears to laughter, putting on my shoes to walking to my car, the cake, the moon, the beach, the wedding party from close and from far... everything and beyond. I'm ecstatic that this day turned out perfectly and the pictures are proof. I highly recommend Fitz!

It was also evident that Fitz and his team had a great eye for capturing precious candid moments - which was a must for my wife and me. Fitz delivered an awesome album for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. It really made us feel like rockstars. Personally, Fitz is a rock-solid, calming presence. He is sharp and methodical in his approach. Upon meeting him it was immediately obvious he had the experience to know what he was doing. In a process where there are so many potential things to worry about, we knew we would never have to worry about him. We also worked with Fitz's colleague Will, who was similarly professional and capable with a clear vision for the photos he was taking. It's clear to us that Fitz picks his second shooters very carefully. We cannot recommend these guys enough if you want a beautiful and stress-free wedding photography experience.

ne of us does after 20 attempts. Sadly, our home has only one photo of us from a distance. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, Fitz captured perfect backdrops, angles, and the right smiles. We are truly joyful that we picked the right photographer for our big day. We can finally print photos of us together and proudly display them in our home and office.

pearing over edited or staged. On the day of, Fitz had been at our venue over an hour before I even arrived, scoping locations, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the garden. He was calm, easy going, and seemed to have the perfect balance of planned and off the cuff shoot ideas. His attitude was such that I understood how seriously he took his role there, but I was also very grateful for how relaxed he was, communicating his vision while encouraging my husband and myself to be ourselves and to enjoy the day rather than stress over it. I can only describe Fitz and Seiichi as photographer ninjas. They were everywhere and nowhere all at once. Fitz is also a true artist. He doesn't have everything planned out, but has these moments of brilliance and you can tell he truly loves what he does. Many of our guests commented on how nice and fun Fitz and Seiichi were and how they seemed to be having a genuinely good time as they crafted artistic, meaningful, and fun shots. It was a magical day for us, and I cannot imagine it without Fitz. In the days following our wedding I've gotten a little nostalgic and kind of sad that it's over, but our photos brought me back to life. The day was a blur but we will have our photos forever and thanks to Fitz, the photos are STUNNING.

Fitz was so great at directing us, that we completely got lost in the 2 or so hours we spent shooting and completely let loose and enjoyed the experience while a relative was driving around trying to find medicine for our son. Thats quite a talent. Fitz is excellent at what he does professionally, but an added bonus; he is also just a genuine and good guy. We hope to bring him to Mexico with us for our wedding!

I know there are many budget brides out there who are looking for places to cut expenses. I get it. I was one too. The one thing you DO NOT want to skimp on, is your memories. As many reviewers have stated Fitz works at capturing moments that speak volumes. Each photo was a beautiful moment of time that I will have forever. I can easily attest to the fact that I have the best quality wedding photos of anyone I know. In addition, Fitz also has a second shooter available that we booked for 4hrs instead of 2. Part of me wishes that I had gone for 6hrs. He also gives you a selection of images a few days after your wedding so you can see some right away. I was glued to my email inbox in anticipation and was not disappointed. Unlike some photographers, you can tell that Fitz loves his job, does it well, and is motivated to get your wedding album properly edited and available to you as soon as he can. This is a photographer that is EXACTLY as he seems which is a tremendous person and masterfully talented.

They were just the right amount of intimate and playful, we really felt that he captured our personalities as well as great story telling details. raving about Fitz since they first discovered him last year, but we haven't had the opportunity to collaborate until recently. One of our couples was coming to Los Angeles from Korea and to no surprise chose Fitz Carlile as their photographer for their engagement shoot. The couple had no idea what they wanted to do, and with the right guidance, we were able to lock down some inspirations to communicate with Fitz. To tell you how professional and flexible Fitz is can only mean so much until you experience it for yourself. He knew exactly what he was doing and how to direct them even when he was presented with the obstacle of a language barrier. Fitz Carlile blew us out of the water, and we can't wait for another opportunity to collaborate once again.

Our wedding was busy with little time to stop and pose once things got going but Irida and Seiichi were ON IT! They were able to capture all the beautiful moments that flew by for us. :) I also want to mention how great/versatile they are in different settings. Our evening wedding was in a historic building with dark wood panel walls, deep colors and low lighting... which, I think, can be a challenge. However their collective expertise in this kind of setting really made all of our pictures look rich, vivid, and just stunning. Unlike most wedding photographers who just snap a million photos (half of which have your eyes closed), Fitz takes the time to set up the perfect shot, giving you QUALITY over quantity. Loved loved loved everything he shot and he even sent us some photo sneaks the very next day after our wedding. His associate photographer, Irida, was so sweet and laid back and captured some incredible moments. She worked with the groomsmen earlier in the day and my husband even mentioned that they needed help getting their bow ties tied, and she immediately stepped in and helped them find someone at the hotel to tie them (completely outside of her job!). If you need a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend Fitz. and would give him and Irida 10 stars if I could. to have Stephen as my first and Ryanne as our second because it was clear they were both excellent too (and it didn't hurt that there was a discount, either).If you think planning a wedding is chaotic..well, nothing could prepare me for the insanity of the day. I had been chill up to the day and then my cool left me completely, it was stressful and upset, and I had actually thought many times that in spite of all the hard work I had done to schedule things right, that everything was falling apart around the photos and that Stephen and Ryanne had too little to work with to get anything out of it. The shots they managed to get in spite of the lighting challenges, and the people challenges were beyond even my initial expectations at booking. Incredible work and I just can't say enough good things. Whatever might go wrong at your wedding you won't have to worry about your photos.

on as I saw his website, I knew he was "the one." His images are artistic, unique, and intimate. We chose to do an engagement session beforehand (highly recommend!!), and as a result, we got to see just how awesome Fitz is ahead of time and received an incredible batch of photos before our wedding day! Fitz couldn't be easier to work with-- he is warm, responsive, and such a talent. My husband and I can feel a little awkward in front of a camera, but Fitz made us feel so comfortable and captured our authentic selves. Wedding days go by in a flash, but photos last a lifetime and are worth the investment. I couldn't recommend Fitz highly enough and treasure our photos from him.

He made sure the pictures were perfect and we were positioned correctly so the photos would be just right. His assistant was so sweet and made sure my hair and accessories were amazing in every photo. The way that Fitz colors photos is amazing, he works so hard to make sure the lighting and colors are so rich and deep. The substance of each individual picture is stunning. He is amazing and should win a million awards. I will definitely be referring people to him. He made it so intimate and wanted to convey all of our emotions as if no one was watching, but just capturing these amazing moments.

Both of them made sure everything was taken care of and really put us at ease. If you're looking for a team who will make sure you not only look beautiful but FEEL beautiful this is the photographer for you. ALL of our photos look amazing and unique. They captured the venue perfectly, made our entire wedding party come alive and look fantastic, photographed our guests at their best moments, and really put a special touch on our first look. But the best compliment comes from my husband who said, "Wow, better than I could have even imagined, they are fantastic!" It really doesn't get better than that. I highly recommend Fitz and his team for a bride a groom looking to capture not only the special moments but the rare ones when you think no one is looking.

He also photographed us when our beloved dog was ill and a set of engagement photos that coincided with the celebration of his birthday. All of these were so beautiful and so well composed. r. I was grateful he was available! I work in the Entertainment Industry so (superb) photography is extremely important to me and my expectations were very high for my Wedding Day and festivities. I knew Fitz was considered one of the top Wedding Photographers in Los Angeles, but after watching him work his magic on our Special Day, I now consider Fitz THE best wedding photographer in Los Angeles. I knew his work to be flawless as far as angle, lighting, capturing the right moment goes. His pictures also tell stories, which is why I chose him. But watching him work was an experience in it of itself. He moved so swiftly and stealthily. I would see him to my left far away and then all of the sudden he was to my right and up close. My jaw drops every time I look at our wedding pictures. Fitz captured my perspective, my husband's and the guests' all seconds from each other. It's as if I has 3 photographers working the event. It's just incredible. My wedding album is literally a series of artistic, perfectly angled and beautifully (naturally) lit story-telling masterpieces. uring wedding planning! He delivered above and beyond our expectations with each and every image. He his absolutely brilliant at capturing the mood and special moments of an event. My husband and I didn't invest in a wedding video, but with Fitz's photography style we really didn't need to anyway. Every time we look at the albums we are transported back to our special day just like it was the day of. He might take a bit more time than your average photographer to set up a shot...but it is always totally worth it. He is also great at coming up with ideas for where to do engagement shoots and excellent at making amateurs feel like models in front of the camera. I am so thrilled we chose Fitz to capture our special day, I will cherish these photos forever.

lmost a year ago until now, he has always been timely with communication both in responding to us as well as keeping us on track on what he needed from us throughout the process. Fitz really took the time to understand what we were looking for and called out areas of concern ahead of time with solutions so we could plan accordingly (i.e. recommending a 2nd shooter based on the photos that we wanted and timeline.). Fitz is a man of his word which is so important when selecting someone to capture one of the most important days of your life. (i.e. always on time when meeting us and sending us the finished product when he said he would). We highly recommend Fitz!
