Five Star Event Services

We used Farmhaus Catering (Five Star Events) to design and supply linens, glassware, flatware and bar glasses for our daughter's wedding. From conception to day of set up and cleanup, Farmhaus (Elaine) was professional and responsive to any and all changes and creating a beautiful tablescape. It was perfection and just and end result was just as I imagined. The champagne velvet table linens were amazing. I will will not hesitate to use Farmhaus for future events. They really are Five Star!

Five Star Event Services was amazing to work with! They were recommended to us and from the beginning we knew we made the right decision. Selecting Farmhaus catering was one of our easier decisions! The food was delicious and all the guests spoke about how great the food was. They were helpful throughout the process helping us pick out our menu and selections that helped make our night a memorable one. I would chose them again and again!

I cannot say enough great things about their catering service-Farmhaus Catering. The food is AMAZING! They did my wedding a few weeks ago, and everyone raved about how delicious the food was! They have a great variety of appetizers and the entrees were delish! They also made cookies for the dessert table that people said were great (they got snatched up quick!) we also used their bartenders who did great at mixing the speciality cocktails we picked. They are also super accommodating and can fit pretty much any dietary restriction. But I also need to rave about how amazing the people are at this company. We met Jason Lewis from the beginning, who is super nice and responsive. Our event captain, Aaron, made sure the day went off without a hitch. But the person we worked with the most, who was helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything meshed well, was Elaine Glatz. She somehow understood my numerous emails that I sent one after another, and was flexible. Of course there were things that happened at the last second (changes from my end), but she was super understanding and accommodating. Long story short-if you want great food AND great service, go with Farmhaus Catering at Five Star Event Services. We will definitely consider them for future events.

We upgraded our menu with our all inclusive package with Davis & Grey Farms and Jon was so easy to work with. Super accommodating and so helpful with any questions I had. The guests loved the food, specifically the pot roast and salad! 10/10 recommend

5 Star Event Services did an excellent job with our wedding and reception. Our guests loved our food choices (fajita bar), and the team made sure that my bride and I got to eat a private meal together in the groom’s suite at Davis + Grey. They even provided a vegetarian meal and gluten-free meals to several of our guests. Our wedding had fewer people than our package was designed for, 5 Star Event Services provided delicious appetizers while keeping us within budget. The team showed up on time and did a wonderful job cleaning up. I was thrilled with the level of service 5 Star Event Services provided, and I would happily recommend them to anyone else.

This was a good company to work with. Overall decent at communicating with us and fairly organized. I did run into some hiccups with them, including my point of contact changing 1/2 way through my engagement and not being notified, as well as them not communicating with each other closer to my wedding date about details and meal choices. I was asked a few times by different people for guest count/meal choices when I had already provided the information. At the tasting our food was fantastic, however at our wedding day it was a little overdone. This was to be expected, though, as at the tasting they made food for just the two of us versus 100 people. On wedding day, all staff were excellent and extremely professional. They did set up and take down very swiftly, and everyone was on time and doing what they needed to. I would recommend them to another couple.

We used these guys for our rehearsal and our wedding and they were one of our favorite vendor decisions. The food at both events was fantastic and we got compliments non stop & the servers were also great. We were able to do 2 tastings for each event as well which helped us narrow down the menus. I sent countless emails over the year about food/linens/questions and they were always very responsive. We were very thankful for their service and highly recommend them to anyone looking!

Hire them - they are amazing!! We went back and forth on several aspects of our menu, quantity, pricing, etc. and they were super accommodating and flexible. For the tasting, it's supposed to be 4 people, but since my in-laws were in town, they made an exception and allowed for 6 people - which meant the world to us as our family is from out of town and this was super special. The food was beyond incredible, their choices are super varied, and their pricing is extremely reasonable compared to other vendors. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

The food was phenomenal! I had several guests come up to me to say the pesto pasta was particularly delicious. No celebration is complete without food, and your team ensured it was a great one. Five Star Event Services is true to their name: Five Stars!

We selected Five Star Event Services/FarmHaus Catering based on recommendations from the Venue and from our initial conversations with them. Five Star certainly lived up to their name...Definitely a 5-Star Experience. Really not sure how it could have been any better/gone any smoother. Pre-wedding they were very attentive, professional and reassuring with all our seemingly last minute questions/requests/changes. They always answered the phone…rarely did I need to leave a message…always accommodating. Very pleased with Jason and his team; a week out we (I) forgot to mention we had a handful of Gluten-Free guest…Jason’s reply, “No problem, I got you covered”. Very comforting. Regarding the Food, I've been in the restaurant business for 30 years and I must say the Food (which was VERY important to me) was really exceptional. It’s tough to provide quality, off-site food for a large event…apparently not for Five Star as they really knocked it out of the park. It's been three weeks since the wedding and friends are still commenting on the great Food/Event. Additionally, the staging was absolutely beautiful, so many compliments. I have zero reservations about recommending Five Star for any similar catering needs.

We hired Five Star Event Services to cater our wedding on 4/8/22. As a couple that loves cooking, exploring new restaurants, and well...eating, food was one of the top three priorities at our wedding. When we went in for our tasting, we saw the immense care and passion that each staff member and the chef had as they presented us delicious dishes and helped us plan the wedding dinner of our dreams. As we planned our menu, Jason was very accommodating in making sure we had a variety of options to cover all of our guests' dietary restrictions. On the day of the event, Jason was there from the moment his staff began setting up until the moment everything was cleaned up. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of service that we received on our wedding day, and we were blown away by the food--seriously, the compliments about the food I got from my guests were endless. Jason and his team were phenomenal and we would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer!

Jason, Jairo, Troy, Grace, and everyone else at Five Star Event Services are fantastic! You cannot find a better caterer in the DFW area. They take personal pride in giving you their best in every event. Beyond the stellar service they provide, they bring the "receipts!"...their food is tasty! Guests at my wedding last week raved about the empanadas and the bacon wrapped jalapenos we had at our cocktail hour, as we as the chorizo queso and borracho beans from our fajita meal. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day a wonderful event!

Jason, Troy, Grace, Hiro and all the amazing staff for Five Star really made the wedding special. The food was great and the service was exceptional. We received many compliments about the friendly and accommodating staff. Troy was an outstanding crew lead. Jason is the best caterer you will find in the metroplex. He has such vision and creativity and delivers on every detail.

Jason is amazing! 2 weeks before our wedding, we met with our florist Holly Viles Designs at her new studio, we decided we wanted to do our rehearsal dinner there. Holly mentioned that Jason was right next door, she texted him and he came to talk to my fiancé and I within minutes. They had 1 open spot, and after 15 minutes of looking over the menu we decided to book Jason and his team. We were absolutely BLOWN away with the food and service we got! The food was incredible, and so was the main course. The staff was attentive, and very professional! We are so happy for the last minute series of events that brought us to Jason and his team!!

Five Star Catering completely won over our hearts and bellies! We often got laughs when telling family and friends that we wanted to do breakfast for dinner at our wedding, but man did they run with it! Everything was absolutely phenomenal from the mini-yogurt parfaits to the chicken and waffles with amazing topping options - our friends and family were talking about that food for weeks after! With a small COVID wedding they were also amazingly easy to work with and adjusted our menu & schedule a few times with such ease. They took safety and health seriously and made us all feel super comfortable the entire night. You will definitely not be disappointed, I highly recommend!!

When I got engaged, I was so excited to start looking at meal options for the wedding. However, I quickly realized it takes so much time figuring what to serve, how much to serve, that you should have a variety of hot food options and cold food options. It just got a little too complicated. Luckily, my wedding planner, recommended Five Star Event Services for catering and I trusted him! When they sent over a menu, everything sounded soooo good, it was hard to pick just a few things. I really wanted to have a grilled cheese and tomato soup app to be passed around during cocktail hour and they made it happen! We went in for a tasting, and they were so accommodating and were extremely helpful with our questions and concerns. The food was so delicious and our guests still go on about how great everything tasted!

I wish we could give Jason and team 10 stars or more. After somewhat of a rough start to our wedding planning my husband and I were married on Nov 17th, 2019 and our wedding day was amazing, more beautiful than we ever imagined and everything that we hoped for. Everything was absolutely perfect and 5 Star was one of the big reasons why. When my now husband and I first started looking at wedding venues, we were turned away by one of the top venues on our list. It was a beautiful country/barn venue with excellent reviews. However, the day before our scheduled tour we received a private message from the owner that said our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and he would not host our wedding at his venue. We were devastated. We shared our story and word got out about what had happened to us and everyone at 5 star events heard about it and they were committed and eager to help make things right and make our wedding day absolutely perfect for us. Even before we saw their prices we fell in love with the food. In the tasting they led off with the brisket stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon and it was love at first bite. Its a very effective strategy on their part. They probably already knew they had us at that point but everything we tasted from then on was also fantastic. When we saw the prices we were so surprised at how affordable they were, especially since the food was so good. And then on top of that they gave us a discount and a bunch of free stuff because they really wanted to make things right for us. We were blown away. Jason and Laura and Eddy and the rest of the team were just so amazing from beginning to end. This is a company that truly believes that love is love and embraces all couples regardless of what they look like. Jason and Eddy were there at our reception from beginning to end setting up, tearing down and making sure everything went smoothly . As we expected, everyone at the wedding came up to us and raved about their food. We had a buffet dinner, but the decor of the buffet table and the quality of the food made it feel like high society dining all the way. We cannot say enough good things about 5 star events and hope to use them many more times in the future. If you are interested in supporting a small business with heart, that is inclusive and welcomes all couples no matter what they look like, please give 5 star event services a look. You will not regret it!
