History Awaits You and Your Wedding Guests at Flander Hall
Flander Hall was built back in 1903 in Excelsior Springs, MO, and it has been beautifully preserved ever since to ensure it remains a landmark building in the Show-Me State. One hundred and ten years after its birth, it was transformed into an elegant event hall ideal for wedding celebrations, anniversaries, and any other standout moment in life. With a capacity of up to 200 people, Flander Hall can accommodate both intimate and extravagant affairs, and it welcomes you and your loved ones to make memories that last forever.
Transformation Complete
In 2013, Flander Hall reopened as a two-story venue that maintained its timeless charm but now with added modern amenities. When you and your guests step onto the main floor, you will immediately feel the warmth of the building's original character, thanks in no small part to the classic tin ceiling, rich wood floors, and the old school architectural columns throughout. From upstairs on the second floor, two balconies will provide your loved ones with a unique vantage point of the day's festivities. The second floor is also perfect for a cocktail hour celebration, where folks can chat and mingle while the main floor transforms from ceremony to reception.
All Packages Include...
The most popular choice for newlywed couples is the Flander Hall two-day package, which allows for decorating and rehearsals on Friday, before Saturday hosts the main event. Each package also includes the use of chairs, tables, lines, a bridal suite, and a games room, along with the initial setup and post-wedding teardown. It's hard looking for the perfect venue to get married in, but when I found Flander Hall that was it! It had the grace and charm I was looking for. The owner is lovely and the Hall is picture perfect!

Excellent place for a wedding andnor reception. It has a catering kitchen, which means food needs to be prepared before arriving, small warmer for food, a small deep freeze for bags of ice, refrigerator in kitchen for food and at the bar for dr...

Lovely rooms upstairs for mingling and pictures, room for bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Downstairs for the groom and groomsmen to get ready.
Seating is also available upstairs in the front and back of the venue.
Beautiful, rustic, with a very interesting background.

Speaking as a wedding photographer who has worked at many many venues, this was one of the most unique spaces I've seen. I absolutely loved the vintage house feel upstairs with the mixture of vintage and industrial in the main event space. All ...
the hard wood and exposed brick is beautiful. So affordable too! And located in a cute little town where you can get some cool street pictures, or walk a little ways to The Hall of Waters I think it's called and get some cool shots there.
The main event space has extra opportunity for seating in their "upstairs" areas. A great venue for getting a big group shot of everyone at the wedding!
Only have good things to say :)

A hidden gem in Excelsior Springs. Truly the best value in Kansas City. We did the two day package for $2,200 and had our rehearsal dinner here as well. It’s a beautiful venue that doesn’t need a ton of decoration. We received countless complim...
ents on our venue choice. Our guests were intrigued by its charm, and many wanted to learn more about the history of the building. Doreen was great to work with. She kept things simple and was available to answer questions throughout the whole planning process. There is tons of space upstairs for the bridal party to get ready and an area in the basement for the groomsmen. Overall, we are so happy with our venue choice!
