Their selection is incredible, and the entire experience was fun, stress-free, and unforgettable. I’m especially excited that their talented seamstress is creating custom sleeves for my dress. Ayanna was the sweetest and knew exactly what dresses to pull out for me to try on. Everyone there made the experience great and welcoming!

ful, and knowledgeable! My sister and one of my best friends also found their dresses here. I can confirm this is a great place to find your wedding dress!

ervices, which is very convenient (and they offer a $50 discount for writing online reviews!). Overall good experience finding my wedding dress here.

us what I was considering, I was mind blown. They knew exactly what style would flatter my body type and the aesthetic I was going for. Additionally, the extra alterations I had done at the shop look exquisite. These guys know what they’re doing!

g and the whole process has been nothing but stress free and seamless. Ray was the best if you get the chance to work with her I highly recommend

perience more enjoyable than my experiences at other shops in the city.

ad a shorter timeline and they were able to get my dress in well before the wedding! Cannot recommend enough!

soon

found a nearly identical one in the store that I tried on and ended up purchasing!  Everyone else has been super helpful throughout the process including the store manager and the tailor.  Highly recommend!

n my choice. Lissa and Fady were also amazing during my tailoring appointment. They made me feel like I could do whatever I wanted with the dress and were so supportive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I had such a wonderful experience at Flares Bridal in Walnut Creek! From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel so welcome and comfortable. It’s a family-owned business, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into helping each customer. The team was friendly, patient, and thorough throughout the whole process. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. Their pricing is also very fair, which made everything even better. I need to have a few tailoring appointments due to my body size but nothing that’s their fault. Each visit has been smooth and reassuring. I’m so excited to pick up my dress soon! I highly recommend Flares Bridal to any bride looking for a supportive, professional, and genuinely caring experience. Shout out the people who have helped me so far Ray, Lissa & Fady.

tailed—they really know what they’re doing and made sure everything was sitting perfectly. What stood out the most was how comfortable they made me feel. It didn’t feel rushed or stressful at all… just smooth, supportive, and honestly kind of magical. Customer service? Top tier. Energy? Immaculate. I left feeling SO excited about my dress and can’t wait to see it all come together. Highly recommend if you want to feel like ✨that girl✨ during your fittings.

visioned and helped me find a gown that exceeded everything I imagined. I walked in feeling a little nervous and left feeling like the most beautiful bride-to-be. If you want a stress-free, magical, and fun bridal shopping experience, look no further! Thank you Flares!!

reat unique selection.

t fit comfortably. They work by appointment only, but I was able to schedule multiple fittings easily in the few weeks leading up to our wedding. Both of my sisters got their dresses here, as well. Thanks for helping our whole family through this process!

th a few styles in mind and Lissa helped me pick out a few options that aligned with what I had envisioned. I had a hard time deciding between two dresses and she helped me try both on twice to ensure I felt confident with my decision. I ended up saying yes to the very first dress I tried on. It felt meant to be!

king. Dress also arrived faster than expected!

g able to come back for a second appointment really helped me feel confident in my decision. The consultant, Ayanna was amazing! Super patient, kind, and easy to work with, she really made the experience enjoyable.  In the end I chose the original dress I first loved and I’m grateful to the Flares team for helping me find it!

The store itself is stunning—the lighting and ambiance make you feel like a bride the moment you walk in. Ayanna, my stylist, was a total dream. She listened to everything I was looking for and personally hand-picked the dress that ended up being 'the one!’ The staff is so warm and attentive, keeping me updated throughout the entire process and answering every question with so much care. I can’t thank them enough for making my bridal experience so sentimental and perfect.

etely supported the entire time. I ordered the dress last May and it came in October. When I went to pick it up, Ray again helped me pick out a veil to go along with it! I tried on so many and didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. I just recently had my first dress alterations fitting and the tailor was great and answered all my questions!

e so interactive! She gave each of my bridesmaids a tag to select a dress for me to try on, which made the whole party feel included. It was so much fun seeing what everyone chose for me. After trying on a few dresses, I finally found 'The One.' Huge thanks to Lissa for making the fitting appointment stress-free and fun!

owledgeable, patient, and truly listens to what you’re looking for. They carry such a wide variety of styles and price ranges, so there’s really something for every bride. I never felt pressured, and the entire experience felt special and stress-free. I’m so grateful I found my dress here and would absolutely recommend Flares Bridal to any bride-to-be!

ity of the dress is top notch. I went to a different store to try a similar style (slightly cheaper) and I could feel the difference in texture and structure. I would absolutely recommend this place for purchasing a wedding dress

atient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, made thoughtful suggestions, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. You can really tell they care about making each bride feel special and confident. Their collection is absolutely beautiful — so many stunning options to choose from! The quality, variety, and overall atmosphere made the experience so memorable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this store to anyone looking for their wedding dress. The service is outstanding, the gowns are gorgeous, and the team is simply the best!

y request on the dress I was looking for. The first dress I tried on ended up being the one I loved and picked for my wedding. These ladies in the picture were extraordinary. They made my dress fitting so memorable. Looking forward to continue going in for my alterations and bringing my dream dress to life.

re. The shop had so many options and many different styles to choose from. I went to so many shops before coming to Flares, and nothing compared to it. Lissa helped style my dress and gave me options to morph it into my style, and I walked away getting exactly what I was looking for. If you come to flares, ask for Lissa. You won’t regret it!

t I walked in, the staff made this exciting experience feel truly magical. They were honest, supportive, and always willing to share their opinions when I asked, which I really appreciated. They genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel beautiful and confident. I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal shopping experience!

eral description of what I was looking for. The customer service is impeccable - truly highlighting the intimate experience of a family owned business. I also love that they do in house alterations, knowing they would treat their dresses better than any outside source. Seeing familiar faces through each step of the process has made it both enjoyable and memorable. I could not recommend them enough!

special. They have a beautiful and thoughtfully curated selection, including several European designers, and you can really tell there's a strong appreciation for both design and quality. That mattered a lot to me given the price point, and I felt the pricing was reasonable compared to overall bridal dress budgets and the craftsmanship offered. The boutique is owned by two kind sisters who were warm and welcoming throughout the process. Since choosing my dress, I've been back to try on veils and for my first fitting, and everything so far has been smooth and positive. One small heads-up for future brides: make sure your try-on appointment is fully confirmed with a confirmation email. Their booking system isn't the most seamless--I experienced a test payment without the appointment actually being booked and only learned this upon arriving, which meant rebooking. Thankfully, things have gone well since then. Overall, a great experience with lovely people, beautiful gowns, and high-quality pieces. I'd definitely recommend Flares--just double-check that appointment confirmation.

ing on wedding dresses. I was so grateful to the care and support that each lady provided...Ayanna is the BEST hype gal around and really made me feel so special. I found my dress on the first day. While I was trying on dresses, other women were too and the environment was so kind and warm; everyone was telling each other how beautiful one another looked...It was a really special day that will be a core memory for me for the rest of my days Fast forward to my first alteration and I had the EXACT same, incredible experience. This time, Beatrix was there to work with me to make my dress perfect and she did just that. Every detail was thought of and cared for. Lissa her team are one of a kind and I would encourage anyone ready to get their dress to go to Flares.

was a delight from the very start! She listened to us both, asked the right kind of questions, and made the whole experience such a vibe. I ended up choosing a dress she picked as a wild card, just to try. She knew! I absolutely love it and cannot wait for my fiancé to see this beautiful dress Ayanna helped me find! They had a wide selection of dresses to choose from and a spread of pricing. Ayanna was great about listening to our budget and helping to think about alteration costs so we were trying options that were in our budget total. I am doing my alterations at Flares but my sister lives out of state so she has to find another shop in her town. I'm so glad we came into Flares and grateful for all Ayanna's help! I definitely recommend coming shopping here!

letely changed my perspective, and I feel it’s important to update my review to reflect that. Something worth noting — the shop asks every bride to leave a 5-star review at the time of purchasing their dress in exchange for a $50 discount (they do the same when you bring your dress in for preservation). Knowing this now makes me question how accurate many of the glowing 5-star reviews actually are. On the day of my wedding, the left strap on my dress broke as soon as I put it on — not later while dancing (I’m not even much of a dancer). It broke immediately. Thankfully, I was able to temporarily fix it for the ceremony with a safety pin and the dress was fine the rest of the wedding. After the wedding, I called the shop and explained what happened. I was told it would be no problem to bring the dress in, have the strap fixed, and then sent for preservation. When I dropped it off, I specifically showed the broken strap to one of the girls (sister of the owner I think) and was told it would be fixed before being preserved. A few weeks later, my preserved dress arrived in the mail. I had a feeling I should check it — putting on the preservation gloves that came in the box, I saw that sure enough - the strap was still broken. It had never been fixed. I called and spoke with the owner Lisa. When I explained that the shop had said they would fix it before preservation, she asked if I was planning on wearing the dress anytime soon — which felt irrelevant. The issue wasn’t when I’d wear it, but that they said they would fix it and didn’t. She also said it wasn’t their responsibility since the dress had already been pressed, again ignoring the fact that they had promised to fix it beforehand. She even suggested I could bring it back in 10 years for a vow renewal or 20–30 years from now if a daughter wanted to wear it — which is unrealistic, as there’s no guarantee the business will even exist then. After I explained how frustrated I was — especially after spending over $4,000 on the dress and $400 on preservation — she finally said to bring it in and that she would call the preservation company to see if anything could be done. I then drove over an hour back to the shop. She took the dress in the back for about five minutes, put two quick stitches in the strap, and handed it back to me in the pressed box. While the strap was technically fixed, the dress was no longer properly preserved — meaning the $400 preservation was essentially wasted. When I asked if she had called the preservation company like she said she would, she responded, “For what? They aren’t going to fix it for free. The strap is fixed — problem solved.” At that point, I just took my dress and left. What was most disappointing is how quickly the care and customer service disappeared once the money had been paid. If they were willing to fix the strap in five minutes, there was no reason it couldn’t have been fixed when I first brought it in for preservation (like they said they would) — which would have prevented this entire situation. Ultimately the dress was beautiful, I still had an amazing wedding, but the lack of accountability and follow-through afterward was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would caution future brides to not rely on promises made once the sale is complete.

rtable and well taken care of throughout the entire process! Flares has a great selection of wedding dress styles and matched with their expertise and genuine warmth - I couldn’t recommend them enough to any bride to find their wedding dress ♥️

close to my wedding (1.5 months away) and they were still able to fit me and do alterations in time.

ares! There were no weird feelings with my initial appointment when I would say I liked or disliked certain things about each dress. The stylist who worked with me took all of my opinions and helped me find the PERFECT dress! I decided to do my alterations through Flares as well because the team there is so awesome and I trust them to do amazing work with my dress. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience and have told all of my engaged friends that they need to go to Flares when dress shopping!
