EventSmith Productions was officially established in 2009 (Formerly named J&D Productions) by Jessica Smith-Williams. Jessica shot her first wedding on 08/08/08 for a college friend from China. After graduating from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in Spring 2009, she was asked to shoot another friend’s wedding… Then another friend… then another. Just like that a passion for capturing one of life’s happiest moments became a full-time profession that we absolutely love! As we grew over the years, our team has expanded to include more photographers, cinematographers, as well as several photo and video editors. Based in the Houston-Galveston area, we love shooting all kinds of photography and videography, but specialize in weddings and special events. We love what we do and the people we get to meet every day. The best part about our job are the connections we make and lasting friendships we form. You may walk in the door as a client but you most definitely will leave as a friend.

onal, fun and quick to respond to any questions we had. Before the wedding we ran through the day-of timeline to ensure we were all on the same page time-wise and that we had covered all of the shots we wanted. The day-of felt so seamless, it was magical! Jessica kept us on schedule, and double checked our shot list often throughout the night to make sure nothing was missing. When they weren’t with us or directing us, it felt like they weren’t even there but managed to capture everything we wanted. All of our shots were perfect and accounted for—and they turned out so beautifully! Within 10 days we received a sneak peek and all of our photos in about 4 weeks. It was such peace of mind knowing we were working with an amazing, fun, talented, professional and trust worthy team to capture our special day. Do yourself a favor and make this part of your planning easy! Have that peace of mind and look into J&D Productions. We are beyond in love with our day, and have more than amazing photos to look back on forever. Thank you J&D Productions, we are obsessed! Highly recommend!!

From the guys enjoying their time at Top Golf and a surprise arrival of a groomsman, to the girls arriving at the venue and every shot in between until the very last sparkler was out. Fabulous, professional, fun, they were everywhere!! Highly recommend!

was on the way to the photo shoot and got in a minor fender bender, but she called me right away to tell me that Dave was on his way to fill in. I believe any other vendor would have rescheduled the photo shoot, but they went above and beyond to honor their scheduled commitment to us. For the bridal pictures it was one of those stormy, cloudy, rainy days in Houston and Dave was able to take some amazing shots that looked like it was even sunny outside! For the big day, Jessica kept us on schedule and made sure we captured all the photos we had discussed in our meeting. They put out a sneak peak of our pictures in just 1 week after our wedding and they already look amazing! Every session we have done with them we have been amazed at the quality and quantity of pictures we get to choose from. They are the most understanding, kind, and thoughtful team to work with and I'm so glad we had the honor of working with both of them this past year!

to budget and most importantly wedding advice. Her team is amazing, the day of the wedding she made me feel relaxed and I knew all of the precious moments were going to be captured- she was very patient and organized and that's what you need on your wedding day. I was not wrong since I just recently got my photos back and I'm IN LOVE! I would choose them all over again and I'm looking forward to growing my business with them in the future!

Jessica is passionate about her work and fun to work with. I love our sneak peek photos and can’t wait to see the rest of the beautiful shots her and her team captured. Would definitely recommend them for your special event!!

lped us make the best decisions throughout the planning process. We sat for hours looking through photos of venues where they had shot before to help us decide on the perfect place for our special day. It was truly personalized service for our needs and wants and I knew I could call at any time with questions, concerns, or panic moments and Jessica and Dave would be there with a solution! They were truly wonderful and made our day stress-free and captured the most beautiful moments. As far as products, we are highly pleased with all of our photographs, videos, and highlights! We will cherish these moments forever through the photographs and video documentation captured by J&D Productions. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day!

videography. They also did my bridals. Thanks to my photography, Nikki, I felt like the most beautiful bride in the world. She was so kind and focused, plus extremely creative!! We also did a “My Love Story” which was a HUGE hit. It will be something we always go back to watch and reminisce. The young man who did our love story and also our videography was awesome! We are so pleased with choosing J&D, there was never a second we had to worry about a thing thanks to them. Instead of recommending, I would demand if i could that you book them, haha! You will NOT be disappointed. Your pictures are the main thing you get out of your wedding day, choose wisely and believe me when I say, there is no better team than J&D! They went above and beyond for us, and we will forever be grateful.

ng, instead she took a ton of stress out of my wedding! It felt like some of my good friends were shooting our wedding! They had a preview of photos we could enjoy a week after our wedding so we didn't have to wait forever to see pictures. The quality of the pictures and video they did for us is just outstanding. They are worth every single penny! I would recommend j&d to anyone and everyone!!! I wish I could rate them 10 stars!

to capture so many great candid shots! Jessica was so great and easy to work with. She went out of her way to ensure that we got all of the pictures (and then some!) that we wanted! The whole team was AMAZING! Our guests even noticed their professionalism!! If you are looking for a photographer, I would highly recommend J&D Productions to you!!! Thank you J&D Productions for capturing our day!!
They were amazing and the footage (especially the drone footage) was amazing!
They were super attentive to our requests and made us feel super special.
We could not recommend Jessica and her team more! We hired J&D Productions for both our engagement shoot and our big day. They were even able to travel to San Antonio to do our eng...
agements at our favorite spot in town. The whole team was wonderful to work with and all communication was quick and easy leading up to our wedding. They were great about answering our questions and making us feel comfortable and worry free! We were a little nervous about posing for all of the photos, but they made us feel completely at ease. We worked through shot lists, special requests, and inspiration for the big day so we knew everything would be perfect. The team arrived early to our wedding, kept us on schedule, and they were incredibly detail oriented, making sure every shot was perfectly set up. We were able to enjoy our big day with the confidence that we would get all the photos we wanted, and they did all of this without interrupting our experience like unfortunately I have seen at other weddings. I hardly knew they were there, but they captured everything! And WOW the photos came out even better than we imagined. We received a sneak peek first and then all of our images and we could not be happier with our photos and with our whole experience working with J&D Productions. We were so pleased that they captured all of the action, the special details, and our guests, above and beyond what we had asked for!

r, but that she would also be a forever friend. She is the most passionate, hard-working, dedicated and fun person to work with. For our engagement photos, she made our vision come to life when we were able to take photos at our high-school, where we first started dating. She is always willing to try new ideas and can make anyone feel comfortable while doing so. She has calmed my nerves every time and given me confidence to be a beautiful Bride. On our wedding day, Jessica and her team did an amazing job staying on schedule and organized. We had to retake Groomsmen photos and even added a last minute first look with my brother! It’s not only about the memories we have but also about having photos to look back on and relive the moments through - J&D Productions has given us just that. Highly recommended!!

deo and the highlight video and got everything back in a good amount of time even-though we were the ones slowing the process by picking our music late. The ONLY regret I have is not adding extra hours to get more photos and video of the reception after the party really got going. We booked them until 9:30 and I feel it would've been worth it to have them there at least another hour. I will recommend their services to my family and anyone else I know who will be getting married soon. Thank you guys for catching all the perfect moments!!

ssica, Dave, and their team are wonderful! The pictures from both looked amazing! I'm still getting compliments. They're very prepared and organized and have a lot of good ideas/tips if you're not sure about things. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. They always replied to my emails promptly and answered all my questions. We were on a budget for our wedding and were able to pick from the different packages they offer that would fit in our budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding day!
