EventSmith Productions was officially established in 2009 (Formerly named J&D Productions) by Jessica Smith-Williams. Jessica shot her first wedding on 08/08/08 for a college friend from China. After graduating from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in Spring 2009, she was asked to shoot another friend’s wedding… Then another friend… then another. Just like that a passion for capturing one of life’s happiest moments became a full-time profession that we absolutely love! As we grew over the years, our team has expanded to include more photographers, cinematographers, as well as several photo and video editors. Based in the Houston-Galveston area, we love shooting all kinds of photography and videography, but specialize in weddings and special events. We love what we do and the people we get to meet every day. The best part about our job are the connections we make and lasting friendships we form. You may walk in the door as a client but you most definitely will leave as a friend.

Jessica kept us on schedule, and double checked our shot list often throughout the night to make sure nothing was missing. When they weren’t with us or directing us, it felt like they weren’t even there but managed to capture everything we wanted. All of our shots were perfect and accounted for—and they turned out so beautifully! Within 10 days we received a sneak peek and all of our photos in about 4 weeks. was on the way to the photo shoot and got in a minor fender bender, but she called me right away to tell me that Dave was on his way to fill in. I believe any other vendor would have rescheduled the photo shoot, but they went above and beyond to honor their scheduled commitment to us. For the bridal pictures it was one of those stormy, cloudy, rainy days in Houston and Dave was able to take some amazing shots that looked like it was even sunny outside! For the big day, Jessica kept us on schedule and made sure we captured all the photos we had discussed in our meeting. They put out a sneak peak of our pictures in just 1 week after our wedding and they already look amazing! Every session we have done with them we have been amazed at the quality and quantity of pictures we get to choose from.
