I can not say enough good things about Flatland Photo. From her creativity and spontaneity to her calm demeanor and professionalism. My husband and I are not picture people, but she made us feel so comfortable allowing us to truly enjoy the moment without being self conscious! In terms of pictures one thing I loved is that she never washes you out for the sake of the look of the lighting or picture. I truly could not narrow down my favorites, so I have pictures from all our sessions with her all over the house! Booking Flatland Photo was easily the best decision I made for our wedding!

onal, personable and efficient. A lot of photographers that I’ve tried in the past sometimes make you feel like a burden or a time inconvenience and that couldn’t have been more opposite with lacey. She made sure that we had a good time when we were taking photos, made sure that we were comfortable AND and even made my husband enjoy taking pictures and that is something that is a very hard to do lol. Each session that we had with her was top quality and quantity with the photos they were worth the wait every single time. Each session we had were detailed and personable to my husband & i’s relationship & it made the photos even more special. The day of my wedding I had a change of plans on how I wanted to do my vows and lacey was all in. She never made me feel bad about it and encouraged me to make my day perfect and she helped to make my day perfect. Lacey also made sure to be my biggest supporter when it came to making decisions and hyped me up to be able to own what I wanted! she was extremely flexible and adaptable throughout the entire engagement season as well. All of my wedding party left the wedding being best friends with her because they had so much fun with her on the dance floor and even made after ceremony pictures fun when everyone was anxiously waiting to get back to the party. I can’t recommend flatland photography more and I will continue to sing her businesses praise!!!

Leading up to & our wedding day she was incredibly thorough, making sure we got every photo we wanted (and so many we didn’t even know we’d want. Hi sunset photos!!!). She manages to capture every emotion, every laugh, and every moment in between with such beauty, all while keeping things running smoothly. I felt so comfortable around her the entire time which makes such a difference in how natural and emotional our photos turn out.

When she flew to us for our engagement shoot, I was so nervous because we had never had professional pictures done before, but she made them extremely fun and so easy! AND they all came out absolutely stunning! Fast forward to the wedding...again she flew in for our wedding and was such a joy to be around all day. It was honestly like having a new best friend with me all day. Both of our families absolutely adored her, and she was such a calming spirit throughout the day! I felt like I could ask her to take last minute pictures that we hadn't discussed before the day, and she was totally on board for whatever we wanted! She researched the weather and time of sunset to ensure we could get the best photos. She was also a blast to be around. She brought all the energy and I was glad to be able to hang out with her outside of the wedding the night before.
And the pictures: Seriously magical. Gorgeous. Breathtaking. From the poses to the filters and colors- literally worth every penny and more.
