Flawless Image Makeup by Marisa Verdi

. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, and the few times I have gotten my makeup done professionally I felt really overdone. This was not the case at all with Marisa! I am so thrilled with how my makeup came out both in person as well as in photos. Two of my bridesmaids also had their makeup done and loved it - one of them even said she liked it better than her own wedding day makeup! And the other bridesmaids who had opted out said they wished they had gotten theirs done, because Marisa did such a good job on all different types of skin tones, complexions and styles. Plus, Marisa is very kind and laid back, and just a pleasure to have with you on your special day. I had a wonderful experience working with Marisa - a lot of things went wrong for our 2020 wedding, but my makeup was not one of them! :)

She took notes at the trial to have everything organized for the wedding day, and even advised me on what lipstick to buy so I could continue to touch up during the wedding day. Marisa was always quick to respond to emails and super organized, providing a schedule for the day and even adding an extra girl last minute. I am so happy with how my makeup turned out! What I love about Marisa is that she is honest, a direct communicator, and most importantly, she really brings out your natural beauty! No one looked too overdone or pageant-y. She also works great with large wedding parties. She is a pro at remaining calm, polite and professional and all of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and chatting with her. Not to mention, her products are the highest quality, and she keeps all of them extremely organized. On the day of the wedding, she brought her own hand held mirrors and chairs! nsive via email and was very flexible with her time, especially because I was trying to coordinate a makeup and hair trial for the same day, with a separate hair stylist. We did a trial together a month before the wedding where I showed her a few photos with ideas for my makeup. She used the photos as inspiration to create a unique look that looked and felt perfect for me. After the trial I was 100% confident that my makeup would be perfect on my wedding. When the big day came, Marisa arrived right on time! She set up quickly and got to work on me, my mom and my maid of honor. She is so nice and easy going and she made everyone feel at ease. All three of us were totally happy with her work and we all received so many compliments on our makeup throughout the night. My makeup lasted 12 hours, through eating, drinking and dancing. I would absolutely recommend Marisa to anyone getting married in the Hudson Valley. You will not be disappointed!

At our trial, Marisa took one look at my face and was able to determine what kind of foundation would sit best on my skin type and was even able to recommend product I could start using in advance to look my best on the day-of. I knew she was truly the real deal when I asked for a different lip and she changed the blush to match better! The day-of she was on-time (early!) and ready to go. I didn't smudge or get lipstick on anyone. Photos are perfection, no retouching necessary. I bought the lip color to have on-hand and didn't even use it (though I'm obsessed with the color)! Our portraits were at 7am, followed by ceremony and then TWO rounds of guests, so it was a 20-hour wedding day. Flawless literally the whole time. FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH!!!! Thanks chick!!!!
