Fleckenstein's Bakery Mokena and New Lenox

This bakery EXCEEDS all expectations! They were so helpful with designing our wedding cake to our liking. They were timely with delivery and everything turned out perfect! The cake was bigger than we expected and the price was great! Would definitely recommend!

Great cake—it was exactly what I wanted and it tasted so fresh! I got a lot of compliments from my guests!!

Fleckenstein’s bakery was so friendly and so creative when creating our wedding cake! We gave our ideas and they exceeded all expectations. I was so happy and impressed with our cake! The price was fair for everything we got (100 cupcakes and a small 2 tier cake). Everyone enjoyed it! They were timely and friendly with delivering our cake. I would definitely recommend this bakery to all couples!

We had pies for our wedding. The pies were absolutely delicious. The staff at Fleckenstein’s, especially Bob (the owner), were always helpful and gave their input and thoughts if we had any questions. Such a great bakery.

We only needed a small cake because we were having donuts at our reception as well. The cake was the perfect size, looked gorgeous, and was delicious! They had many options for flavors, icings, decorations, etc.

Definitely recommend this bakery for a wedding cake! When we initially met, we met with one of the owners; very professional and knew what he was doing. I showed him some pictures of inspiration and he was able to design and quote us there. Price is VERY reasonable. The cake turned out gorgeous, and just how we imagined.

Fleckenstein’s did our bridal shower and wedding cake, and we were so happy we chose them! They were great to work with, and we received so many compliments on our cakes. I am gluten-free, and their gluten-free cake is absolutely amazing!

Super easy to work with, was able to do most of the planning over the phone! Did a tiered cake and sheet cakes it was perfect!

The most delicious cake I have ever had. We went with Fleckenstein's for our wedding shower cake and the wedding cake. Both of them were beautiful and delicious! We had a dessert table with cheesecake, cookies, and brownies as well and everyone had a slice of the cake! We will definitely continue to use Fleckenstein's for all of our cake needs!

Fleckenstein's did a wonderful job on our wedding cake! We were able to discuss all colors and themes (lego) with the designer. We were also able to have a tasting cake prior to making that decision. The cake looked and tasted wonderful, and I was very happy with the price!

We chose Fleckenstein's Bakery and it was absolutely amazing. It is reasonably priced and the cake was so delicious. Bob allowed us to take a small cake home that had different flavors so we could choose. I also designed the cake and bring in a drawing that I wanted. And they created it perfectly the way I wanted. It was amazing.

After a bit of a rocky start, we managed to have a better experience second time around. Originally, my fiance and I made an appointment for a consultation and when we arrived, we were greeted warmly by all the employees there. Unfortunately, we waited about 45 minutes to have our consultation, but never had it and decided to leave. A few days later, Mr. Fleckenstein called to reschedule and explain why we were not met with that day. The second consultation proved to be very helpful and he took his time to go over all the pricing options as well as listen to what we were hoping to do.

Fleckenstein's really helped bring my cake vision to life. We were able to work with them to tell them what we pictured and the day of our wedding it was there waiting when we entered the reception. The price was reasonable, and the quality was AMAZING.

Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, and it tasted just as great! Not a single slice of cake went un-eaten, which is saying something since we had ~100 guests and the cake was supposed to feed 125! We had one tier lemon cake/lemon filling, and the other tier was white cake/raspberry. Great people to work with. Highly recommend!!

I was very unsure of how the cupcakes were going to turn out for the wedding. I went into Fleckenstein's twice. Once with my husband and once with my mom. Both times I talked to a gentleman that I believe is the owner. He was not a fan of us doing cupcakes instead of a wedding cake but he went along with it. He didn't really offer a lot of suggestions along the way and when I went with my mom to finalize the order he laughed at my mom when she asked what different types of flowers could be put on the cupcakes as a decoration. I didn't realize that was funny. Also, he gave me a book to pick out the cake design for a small cake for the top and my first 3 picks he told me could not be done (well then why are they in the book?). In the end though the cupcakes turned out very well and looked really nice and we got a lot of compliments on them. I just wish it was a little easier to deal with them when ordering.

We loved our wedding cake it was everything we hoped it was going to be. Mr. & Mrs. Fleckenstein were so wonderful to us.

I knew from the beginning that I was going to get my cake from Fleckenstein's. I grew up down the street and would visit all the time as a kid. After buying a chocolate long john I would galk at all the amazing looking wedding cakes and daydream about having one of my own. I liked that Mrs. Fleckenstein gave us a sample cake on our first visit (didn't need an appointment or anything) so we got to try each flavor. We went with yellow cake with a strawberry filling. I visited once more to pay show her the wedding color and give her the cake topper and that was it. The cake was beautiful, the color decor was right on, and everyone really liked the strawberries! I did stop in a couple other bakeries just to price compare, and fleckensteins was in line with the other bakery prices, maybe even a little cheaper.

First of all, the cake tasted amazing! Not only did it make the perfect midnight snack after a night of dancing for myself and my wedding party, but I received tons of compliments on just how delicious it was from the guests. It was exactly what I envisioned, delivered on time, fresh and seriously ... DELICIOUS!

Our cake turned out Beautiful and it was so delicious! Their prices are great and Mrs. Fleckenstein is such a sweet lady. They gave us a whole cake to take home and try when we asked for a sample. Everything with the delivery went smooth.

Sometimes hard to deal with but the cake ended up looking beautiful. And delicious!

Our cake was absolutely perfect. We had a four tiered round cake with buttercream frosting. Mr Fleckenstein ordered our cake topper and was able to help us find one that was perfect for us. It was customized even!! The cake was absolutely delicious. We had red velvet with cream cheese filling, chocolate with buttercream filling, and white with buttercream filling. We wrapped and saved our top tier and can't wait to enjoy it on our First Anniversary. Fleckenstein's was helpful, friendly, and a dream to work with.

I gave them a picture and they recreated it perfectly! My husband and I didn't get to taste the cake we were so busy taking pictures and greeting guests but everyone said the cake was delicious!

I have always ordered from Fleckenstein's but they were amazing for our wedding! The cake was perfect and had the exact colors we wanted. The cupcakes were phenomenal! I highly recommend any of them on their list. We had 5 different kinds and everyone wanted to try one of each! Luckily I had some saved at the end for me - delish!

This bakery totally exceeded my expectations! We had red velvet cupcakes that everyone loved! Plus they made us the most amazing "cupcake cake" that was soooooo awesome! It really looked like a giant cupcake! Everyone thought it was amazing! Completely recommend this bakery!!!!!

I was a little concerned when I first went in for a consultation. Watching Cake Boss I was expecting to sit down with the head baker and have her draw a cake for me. Apparently this is not standard at every cake shop. But her price beat everyone else's, and I knew her baked goods were known for their deliciousness. So I found a picture that I thought was perfect from the internet and brought it to her. Not only did she reproduce it, but it tasted absolutely amazing. She also designed an incredible grooms cake from my husband that incorporated a submarine diver's helmet.

I had a breakfast at Tiffany's themed wedding, and had a four-tiered, square cake that looked like a Tiffany's box. The color matched perfectly, the ribbon and pearls looked perfect, and so did the bow on the top! I did not want to cut the cake, it was so gorgeous!! People are still telling me that my wedding cake was the prettiest they'd ever seen. Not to mention, it was absolutely delicious!! In fact, my guests call me up and ask where I got my cake from, as they are now ordering Fleckenstein's for their parties.

We were very satisfied with Fleckenstein's. It's a family owned and ran business. We priced a few other bakeries in the area and they were all WAY more expensive than Fleckenstein's way. Our cake was super yummy and looked beautiful.

I went in three months before my wedding. They worked with me to find a cake that would fit my style and budget. They suggested a smaller two-tiered cake along with a sheet cake to feed everyone. IT was perfect. Loved it!

Fleckensteins made choosing my cake so very easy. Great Price, Great Flavor. The only thing was we had to order a cake that served 100 and we only had 60 guests. That was basically the smallest size they could do for the style that I wanted but that was fine with me. The cake was beautiful!

I found a picture of a cake that was not offered at Fleckenstein. I was a little concerned and thought the cake would not turn out like the picture. It didn't, it looked even better. I also dropped off a swatch of the color roses we wanted on the cake and it was identical. I will be a lifetime customer.

Exceeded my expectations! My family loves using Fleckensteins Bakery for all birthdays,celebrations and holidays so it only seemed natural that I use them for my wedding cake. It was simple to pick out my wedding cake because of the helpfulness of staff. My cake turned out beautiful and delicious.

They were very friendly and helpful. The cake tasted very very good. Each layer was a different type of cake and very layer was moist and the filling that they suggested complemented each flavor the of cake.

It looked beautiful! Was delivered at the right time so it was set up for people to see at the reception.;I wish they had more specialty flavors, cake types, etc to bump up the taste a little more. To make it more special than other cakes. It seemed a little like a birthday cake.

It is a great family run business. Eventhough our wedding was on Easter weekend they still made it possible to create our cake. It was delicious and everytime we told someone we were having Fleckensteins they were so excited to eat.;They don't have wonderful pictures to look at but the cakes come out amazing.
