My husband and I were absolutely thrilled to work with Fletch Photography for our wedding in Kona. They were immediately responsive and answered all our questions, while providing friendly guidance for a photo package perfect for us. We are so happy with our photos--they are beautiful and so special to us. I loved how Josh and his partner helped us feel comfortable, since it can be awkward getting photographed! Their art direction was spot on, and we have gorgeous photos and memories of our destination wedding. Fletch was seamless during the ceremony and reception, and the online tool for viewing our photos was a great way see and share our special day, too. Fletch Photography is without a doubt, the best photographer on the island. Josh’s style and talent is one of a kind, and the only way to describe it, is for you to see it yourself! He has a lot of his work up on his IG page so please check it out!! He did our wedding and engagement photos, and they both came out better than we imagined. As a couple doing a photo shoot for the first time ever, we felt a little silly posing for photos. We talked about how we were worried they were going to come out awkward...but Josh directed us throughout and made us feel at ease. When we got the photos back we were blown away!!! Somehow Josh used his magic to make the photos come out absolutely beautifully! We looked like a picture frame couple and the background looked like a screen saver!! Josh and Emily worked so hard during the wedding and were taking pictures all day. We are so thankful that we had the honor of working with them, because now we have photos we will be proud to show off for a lifetime. JOSH IS THE BEST!!!!! I knew that picking our wedding day photographer was the single most important decision we would make for our wedding, because we would carry those pictures with us forever as reminders of our special day. So I took special care when choosing Fletch and pored over sample albums from photographers all over the big island (and the rest of hawaii) to find the very best. Josh's images stood out: go see his website for yourself, the composition and framing and colors have true artistry that is head and shoulders above the competition. Come wedding day, Fletch did not disappoint, in fact they exceeded our wildest expectations. Josh came with a colleague so we had 2 camera folks on site. They were both SO kind and sweet, keeping us calm on our big day while also getting us in position for perfect lighting and shooting some stunning shots. The album download link came back earlier than expected, and we now have thousands and thousands of images, each more perfect and vivid than the next. We asked Fletch to adjust white balance on the b/w photos and they did that kindly for us which was a nice extra touch. Looking back through the photos, not only are they visually stunning but more importantly Fletch took LOTS of pictures of the bride and group, wedding party, and every single guest. Unlike some other photographers who take a billion pictures of the food/decor for their own portfolios, Fletch focuses on the PEOPLE, and there is so much heart and emotions in the photos that were captured on our big day. This is the highest quality, most artistic, and most complete set of images I could have wished for on my wedding day. These two are amazing!!!!!!!! I am speechless, but going to try to put into words how appreciative we are.  When we received our photos, we stayed up for hours looking at them. They are perfect. I would recommend Fletch photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! We got married on 2/13/2017 and our wedding photos are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Josh and Miho were very punctual, incredibly professional, and very kind. They were calm when everyone (including myself it was my wedding day) was not. We received our wedding photos 8 weeks later (which is normal if not faster than normal.) They are so stunning!!! I felt they were reasonably priced as well. Don't hesitate to book them as your wedding photographer- you will not be disappointed. They really captured so many beautiful moments on our wedding day.

My husband and I both agree that we thoroughly enjoyed working with Josh and Miho. We had our wedding on June 18th, 2016 at a private beach club in north Kona with about 70 guests. We were fortunate to have a gorgeous sunset with the full moon rising over Hualalai Mountain. They managed to capture the setting even better than I had imagined. I specifically loved our photos of the dance floor action! It was like we were back on the dance floor! Smiles and laughs! Josh and Miho were beyond fabulous! We're from Minnesota and planned a destination wedding in Hawaii, so 99% of planning was via email/internet. The Hilton Waikoloa Village had a list of preferred photographers, and just by looking at Fletch Photography's portfolio online, they by far had the best quality photos, and the style we were looking for. It's always nice to have a husband and wife team (or two photographers) so that you can maximize the photos you get during your big day (women getting ready, girls getting ready, details of the ceremony and reception setup, multiple views of the first look, etc.) These two were so fun to work with, listened to our wishes, and also had tons of creative ideas for our photos. Although I don't know the total time they ended up being with us (crazy day!), I'm pretty sure they stayed a bit longer than necessary to make sure we captured everything we wanted. I'll be honest and say that the photos did about 11 weeks to get to us. That being said, we got almost 900 photos back for the 4 hours we had with them, and every single one of those color photos in black and white as well! It was so worth the wait!! I could tell that they really took the time to edit each and every one of our photos carefully. I'd work with them again any day!

Josh and Miho shot our wedding in Kapaau and I am glad we found them. The first thing I struggled with was finding a photographer who had a style I admired but their site helped me understand their style. They were very responsive and easy to work with even as I planned the wedding from the mainland. Most importantly the photos came out beautifully and they managed to capture so many beautiful moments it is hard to thank them enough. Especially since I cannot pose or smile on demand. The preview photos they sent ahead of the entire batch were a beautiful overview of the day. They helped make sure memories of the day will be easy to share and pour over for years to come.

My husband and I had a very small wedding in Hawaii in April 2015. There were 10 guests in total and 13 people altogether including my husband, our officiant and me. We knew this was going to be a small and intimate, but very special affair, and one that we knew we wanted documented the same way that one would document a big wedding. We also knew it would be a challenge to find a photographer who could be there and blend in to catch the magic moments in a candid and authentic way. Josh and Miho were the perfect pair to take us on. They worked with such confidence and ease making all 13 of us feel comfortable in the presence of the camera. They provided suggestions at just the right times to ensure our photos would be well placed that we were taking full advantage of the beautiful sunset and surroundings. At the same time, Josh and Miho let the evening unfold naturally and we ended up with a wonderful collection of memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We cannot thank them enough and would not have wanted anyone else there with us that day. We were in the best of hands!

We were married on March 5, 2015 at the Puakea Ranch on the Big Island. We had some reservations on hiring photographers we hadn't met before however Fletch Photography exceeded all our expectations! Their pricing and service options were clearly explained and there were no last minute surprises or shortcomings. Josh is clearly a skilled photographer who works very hard to ensure he captures more than enough special moments. He "dual wields" having 2 cameras at his disposal and often quickly changes lenses to get several different perspectives. Miho is also firing away from unique angles to make sure nothing is missed. They were professional, fun and easy going, and after a short time, we almost forgot they were there. The quality and quantity of images we received was outstanding. Our wedding photography was one of our top priorities, and we decided on Fletch Photography based on the beautiful pictures on their website. We were married at the Fairmont Orchid on June 4, and this talented photographer couple knew precisely how and where to take our wedding party and us (bride and groom) to capture the best scenery and light. I LOVE HIM! I was worried going into my wedding because I do not (and especially my husband) take good candid photos. Josh was so incredibly easy to work with, was open to trying a few ideas I had, and helped me and my shy husband to actually take photos worth sharing. I hadn't read his time frame for how long the edits would take. I received them approximately 2 months after my ceremony, and he/they are 150% worth the wait!

Long overdue amazing 5 star review for Fletch Photography! Josh was our photographer for our May 2nd, 2015 wedding at the Sheraton in Kona on the Big Island and everything was more than perfect. He was so warm and friendly and my entire family loved him right off the bat. Josh has such a talent for catching perfect candid moments with perfect lighting. We took photos at the wedding site, on the lava rocks overlooking the ocean, in the chapel, all over the resort! I would not change one thing about my wedding day and photos. I would recommend Fletch Photography to any and every engaged couple looking for a photographer on the Big Island.

We couldn't be happier with Josh and Miho!! We did both traditional wedding and underwater photography. The wedding photos turned out incredible, and the underwater part was not only fun, it kept people talking for months. I dont know where to start, we receiver our photo gallery link last night and I am speechless. I cant believe how AMAZING everything looks!!!! I cant believe thats actually my wedding!! These two are such an amazing team to work with. It was easy, I didnt have to manage them, they got my entire shot list and more!! Everything just looks like a dream!! I cant say enough great things about them. We had our wedding in the water, so as soon as I saw their website, I KNEW they were the photographers for us. Not sure where to start but I guess a bit of background info might help to paint a better picture. We are based in the UK and wanted to get married in Hawaii. Our wedding planner was ever so helpful in choosing the location and arranging the details of the wedding including the photographer. We were given a choice of 7 or so photographers and we had to pick one just judging by their work posted on their websites. There were some that I (the groom) quite liked and there some that missus liked, however, the one we both could agree on was Fletch Photography. Their work instantly amazed us both and decision was made. On the day pictures were taken by Josh, who is professional as well as easygoing person. Working with him was absolute pleasure and everything went very smooth. How brilliant he is as a photographer we only managed to find out when we got our pictures 2 days ago and it absolutely blew us away. His artistic vision is second to none and the quality of the pictures is outstanding. Certainly brings those beautiful memories back. If we are ever back in Hawaii for a special occasion we will most certainly want him to capture it.

My husband and I had never been, so we were having to rely a lot on our online research to find vendors for our wedding. We happened upon Fletch's blog and from that point we were hooked. The amazing and creative photos just took our breath away and they have such a unique style! We felt they would capture our wedding in a way that was unique to us. And they did just that. On the day, they were so accommodating and patient with all our family and friends. And they really focused in on my husband and I during our photos with just the two of us, giving us quiet moments to just be with each other and take in the moment all while capturing it so we could keep it forever.
