Chelsea and Steven were the absolute dream team to have as photographers at our wedding. My husband, Mike, and I have always felt uncomfortable behind a camera, yet somehow, these two managed to capture photos of us that were beyond our wildest imagination. They are both so down-to-earth, patient, honest, and above all, so passionate about what they do, which is reflected in their work. Their creative vision and keen eye for detail is so impressive. They have a unique sense of storytelling through their photos and videos, capturing all the genuine moments and allowing us to relive the best day of our lives over and over and over again. Most importantly, they took EVERY ounce of stress off us in terms of photo/video because we didn’t have to think twice about what photos needed to be taken or wondering if they were getting everything we wanted. We just got to sit back and truly enjoy our wedding day, knowing they would find us to take specific pictures if they saw fit- or just give us a chance to step away from everything to spend time together, capturing all of those intimate moments- and that their eye and vision would be infinitely better than anything we could imagine. There’s no words for how grateful we are to have had Chelsea and Steven as our photographers and have no doubt that we will use them again for ALL photography needs in the future.

They did phenomenal! Made us feel comfortable the entire time when pictures can be uncomfortable. They were very personable and made us laugh. And of course their pictures are stunning!! Would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Flightless Bird Photography. Chelsea and Steven were so sweet and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. Chelsea helped with so much, from the wedding timeline to keeping me calm throughout the day. Steven made the pictures so fun for all of the groomsmen who would normally not enjoy having to take all of those pictures. We had a crazy storm and power outage on our wedding day and they somehow made it beauty out of the chaos, all while making sure we were as relaxed as we could be. I also really appreciated how Chelsea addressed my 5 year old flower girl by her name and spoke directly to her. She made her feel so special. My family had so many positive things to say about Flightless Bird Photography. Our venue owners were also absolutely obsessed with the team and their style. Both our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely beautiful and something we will cherish forever. I plan to recommend this team to all of my friends in need of photography in the future and we will certainly continue to use them throughout our life for family pictures.

My husband and I got married in the middle of COVID restrictions and had to change our wedding completely with only 2 weeks to plan. ~married 10.13.2018~ My (now) husband and I hired Flightless Bird Photography for our engagement session, bridal shoot, and wedding. Chelsea is so creative, flexible, and easy to work with! She made my search for THE photographer easy because she does it all AND she's so open to your vision. Both her and her husband listen to what you want and make it happen. The most difficult thing was waiting for my portfolio after each shoot, haha! I specifically asked for authentic photos. I think staged photos are beautiful, but I preferred to catch the REAL expressions and feelings throughout each event. And Flightless Bird delivered. Thank you a million times! My husband and I will be back for family photos (and more), rest assured❤ ps My guests loved our photos so much because Chelsea and Steven honored my request that they capture many fun family photos of our guests dining and dancing.

We cannot stop bragging about Chelsea and Steven and our friends can’t stop looking at our pictures! Chelsea and Steven were great to work with from start to finish. First of all, they are the most genuine people and we appreciated their honesty and creativity. They also captured our love, ceremony, and family in the most perfect and special way. Chelsea and Steven make for one amazing team! My wife and I were planning our wedding ourselves and Chelsea made it easy for us by providing us with a detailed questionnaire that made the day-of photos much easier. Prior to the wedding, we met with her and she was so quick to respond and answered all of our questions and eased any anxiety we had about the whole process. On the day of, Chelsea handled the bride and bridesmaids and Steven took care of the guys. The photos were all absolutely incredible. Their creativity and fun personalities made the whole experience wonderful. I can't recommend this amazing team enough! We will definitely use them again for any photography in the future!

Absolutely amazing photography team! Chelsea and Steven were one of the major highlights of our wedding. We're all absolutely in love with the photos Chelsea took of our wedding. She's professional but also so creative and fun to be around. Our portraits turned out beautifully because of her! There aren't enough words to say how amazing Chelsea is. She's so sweet and fun and is open for anything. She takes AH-mazing pictures and makes the whole process fun and relaxing. She was always open to our ideas and even let us drag her out on a hiking trip and down to the beach. She was even willing to help with non-photography related things, such as other wedding ideas. Chelsea really takes the time to get to know her clients; it's not just a business for her. She's awesome. We couldn't be happier with how all of our pictures turned out.

Chelsea was a great photographer for our wedding! The photos turned out beautifully, they really caught our personalities and the joy of the day. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to work with for our wedding. Chelsea put together our day-of timeline for me (with me but she basically did all the work). On our actual wedding day, Chelsea was fabulous and made us feel so relaxed and had so many great ideas for locations and poses to shoot.
