Of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, I think Jeremy and Josi at Flip Flop left the most lasting impression. From our initial phone call with Josi to the 4 hour (yes, 4 hour) dance party at our wedding, we feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered Flip Flop. The thing that has been brought up most consistently by our guests post-wedding is, without question, the music and the dance floor – we’re obviously biased because it was our own wedding, but Jeremy was unquestionably the best wedding DJ we’ve ever seen. If you are opinionated about the music and vibe for your wedding and/or you want to have a once-in-a-lifetime dance party, stop reading reviews and go book Flip Flop right now. Jeremy took the time to sit down with us for over an hour prior to our wedding to get into the nitty-gritty of which music genres and artists we love, what we tolerate and what we really don’t like. He even created a couple of “sample” playlists for us to give him feedback on whether he was on the right track. He clearly cared deeply about creating an experience that represented us and, while this may have been something that only I noticed, Jeremy also looked extremely happy while he was doing it – he obviously has a passion for his craft. Thank you Jeremy and Flip Flop for being such a big part of the best night of our lives! (We got married in 2023 at Brasada Ranch just outside of Bend and had about 85 guests.)

Our DJ was Josi and she was absolutely AMAZING!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Our reception was pretty long- 5:00-11:30 and she made it so all of our guests were dancing until the very end. People were raving about her and even wanted to extend her time haha! Overall we loved her personality, DJ skills and overall presence on our wedding and 10/10 would recommend!

Flip flop Sound was not only willing to be our vendor month of wedding but provided the best all around service. Specifically Josi (our DJ), was phenomenal! She worked with us leading up to the wedding and supported us thru the last minute vendor change. She really got to know us and personalized every aspect of our wedding, from pre-wedding music thru wedding send off. She emphasized special moments and enhanced a personal first dance. Somehow in very little time, she got to know our guests and truly set up an atmosphere of nothing but fun for all! Everyone loved Josi and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Your DJ really sets the mood from beginning to end and Josi killed it!! Hands down a million star rating!!!

Briar absolutely CRUSHED it as our wedding DJ. We had silent disco headphones due to noise restrictions at our venue, and it was way more fun than we even imagined. Briar had two stations, a live one and a prerecorded one, that guests could flip back and forth on their headphones. Both had absolutely killer music and kept everyone dancing all night. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and speeches that also required sound went perfectly as well. Briar was so fun to work with and really made the event something to remember. Thank you Briar and Flip Flop!

We had DJ Mike for our wedding when we hired Flip Flop Sounds and it was fantastic! You recieve access to a client portal where you can curate your event playlist with any song you want, including songs you DO NOT want to hear, which was important for us! We did have a majority younger crowd at our wedding and wanted it to be a party. That it was! Everyone was dancing all night long. Mike was professional and accomodating to our requests. The music was such a huge part of our day and we're really glad we went with Flip Flop Sounds! Not only was the dance floor poppin, but Mike did a great job with our entire ceremony - working closely with us to accomodate our requests! If you can dream it, Flip Flop Sounds can deliver it!

Jeremy with Flip Flop Sounds was our DJ and both my husband and I were so grateful to him! He was so good at moving the night along which was so great in taking some stress and pressure off of us. He understood the mood we wanted to set for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance party and he absolutely killed it with the music. Highly recommend booking Flip Flop Sounds!

Can’t thank her enough for being so communicative and collaborative. We had such a great wedding and her experience and humanity was what made it all possible. THANK YOU!!

Josi with FlipFlop Sounds was exactly what we needed in a DJ for our wedding day. She was easy to work with, incredible at reading the crowd and knowing what to play next to keep the party rolling, and she was downright personable. By the end of the night Josi wasn't just our DJ, she was our friend. We are so lucky to have had her help make our day amazing! Thank you!

My husband and I hired Flip Flop for our 6/4/22 wedding at Tetherow, and we had Danny Cecchini as our DJ. Our wedding was a blast! We ran out of room on the dance floor as everyone was having so much fun partying it up. We met with DJ Danny to discuss song preferences and the vibe we were going for, and he was super professional and helped us bring the party on our special day. We highly recommend Flip Flop!

I have reached out to the owner multiple times to try to talk with him first, before leaving a bad review. He is not responding. We hired Flip Flop for my daughters wedding and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The DJ, Leah, seemed to have zero personality, and not at all energetic. She seemed very unorganized, almost like she didn’t know what she was doing. She had clear instructions on the order of events and she clearly didn’t follow them. There are multiple things I’m disappointed in, but I would not recommend this company at all, in fact, I have been telling my friends with kids not to use them for their events. I’m disappointed in the lack of response from the owner as well. For the cost of this service, I expected premium service, which wasn’t even close to what we got. I would look elsewhere for a DJ!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding! Flip Flop Sounds was responsive and professional. Their platform was great leading up to our big night. We had DJ Brian take care of us. He did everything- guest arrival music, ceremony music and sound, cocktail music, dinner music, reception toasts, dancing/party music, announcements...etc. I can't express enough how thrilled we were with his work. He took into account everything my husband and I requested. He knew what worked and what didn't and advised us appropriately. And most importantly- he kept the party going all night long and when it was over, our guests were bummed it had to stop! THANK YOU!

Overall, pick Flip-Flop for all your music needs! We selected Flip Flop after reading the rave reviews and they were spot on. Flip Flop provides sound, lighting and experienced DJs. Courtney was a pleasure to work with and honored all our very specific music requests. They also have a photo booth and an awesome selection of templates. Very easy going and responsive, Flip Flop accommodated our many requests and kept the music lively and current. Courtney was thorough and made sure anyone giving a speech or acknowledged was done so in a timely manner.

Eric from Flip Flop Sounds did a great job DJing our wedding. He was very helpful with keeping the reception flowing along, and when it came time for the dance party he had everyone up on their feet. We appreciated that we got to talk through the details of our wedding with him ahead of time, and he was able to answer all of our questions. He also helped us make sure there were songs that appealed to guests from different generations. We would definitely recommend booking Flip Flop Sounds to anyone getting married in the Bend area!

This DJ service was great for us and willing to travel to our location. They played our list of music so all of our guests were entertained. We only wish that the sound system could have been louder for our outside venue. Announcements in our tent could not be heard well.

Leah was great to work with over the past year and I loved that we could use their website planning so we could fill in everything online. Eric Ruggirello was our DJ for the day of and he couldn't have been more awesome! He helped us out so much and made everything flow smoothly and played all the music we wanted. We live far out of the Central Oregon area so finding a DJ that would let us plan online was everything for us! It was so easy to make all the payments, use their planning worksheet and pick out our music online. We could both log in whenever we had time and pick out what we wanted and then come back to it and add more throughout the planning period. Flip Flop offered us everything we wanted including an amazing photo booth that was non stop occupied the night of our wedding! I'm so happy we decided on Flip Flop Sounds!!

We had Eric from Flip Flop Sounds DJ our recent wedding in Bend and he did a fantastic job! As we live in Portland, we were not able to meet with him prior to the wedding but he was easy to communicate with over the phone and via email. We sent him quite a lengthy list of songs that we didn't want played and he took that list very serious (thank you for this!!!). We had a fairly small wedding so we didn't have a wedding coordinator, so again without much direction, Eric took the lead and was able to direct guests on where they needed to be and coordinate all the tables to get food from a taco truck without creating a massive line. He also had some great suggestions during the event! I would definitely recommend Flip Flop Sounds!

Courtney, the owner, was the DJ at our wedding. He did a fantastic job! He kept the wedding on schedule and kept people dancing. Everyone danced the night away and had a memorable time. He understood my vision and took instructions well. Great communication and easy to work with!

We had Courtney from Flip Flop sounds DJ our wedding and we could not have been happier with anyone else. He was so personable from the start and helped me figure out what kind of feel I wanted for the big day. He did the sound for everything from the precession to the reception and it flowed beautifully. I asked him to find some very specific instrumental versions of songs for the ceremony that I could not find on iTunes and he was able to find them and play them at the perfect time which made it that much more perfect and special when I walked down the aisle with my dad. I compiled a list of songs that I wanted to be played and they were all over the map. He did such an amazing job of placing them in the right order and playing them at the right time through the evening. He took our requests on the fly as well and everyone had such a great time dancing. he was great and the company was very helpful when it came to making payments and navigating the website. I highly recommend them, especial Courtney.

Courtney at FlipFlop Sounds was perfect! He was professional and fun. This isn't his first rodeo so he was able to set up the night perfectly and allowed us to not worry about a thing. The crowd loved his energy and he had every song we wanted. He did a great job of playing songs that got everyone dancing and it also reflected us. He was awesome and we loved him!!!

He kept everything on schedule and was very friendly. Everyone was raving about how much fun they had and how they have never seen a better wedding DJ.

Mike was great, totally kept on schedule with Toasts and first dances. Played songs based on the crowed energy, he was great!

Great crew! Our reception did not have a dull moment due to these guys! They did a great job.

Courtney from Flip Flop did an amazing job for our wedding! He was able to keep the party going all night long! We had a small lull in dancing towards the beginning and he was able to get it back up and going! People were begging him to keep going even after we were ready to get out of there. They helped to make it the best night of our lives!

Great experience with Flip Flop Sounds! We met them at a bridal show and were impressed by their youthful, chill (yet professional) attitude. Very friendly. When we found out Courtney with Flip Flop couldn't be the one at our wedding, we were a little worried. We had communicated with him for months, and this change was just before our wedding. They are also out of Bend, OR, so we couldn't easily meet in person to discuss, it was all via email and phone. His partner Yancy would be coming instead, and we had to fill him in on our itinerary and other info. But I have no idea why I worried so much! It worked out perfectly, everyone at the wedding loved the music choices (we did Rat Pack/Sinatra for dinner, more contemporary later on). Their website makes it easy to fill in your info and music requests, and also put in a schedule of events. We used a DJ for ceremony and reception (in the same location) so that required a bit more coordinating. But it all went well, from when the music started going down the aisle, to dinner music, to bouquet toss, garter toss, first dance, the list goes on. Very professional, and very easy to work with. And the price was really reasonable ($850) for how long he was there (3:30pm setup to 11:30pm breakdown). I would definitely recommend Flip Flop Sounds to anyone!

Courtney with Flip Flop Sounds was so much fun to work with. It is obvious that he enjoys what he does and he is so good at it. We immediately felt at ease with him during our first meeting. He has an awesome website where you can add all of your "must play" and "do not play" songs plus your timeline with the special song info. He also has helpful playlists of all of the most popular bouquet toss songs, first dance songs, etc. that was fun to look at. He totally got the party going at our wedding, I never left the dance floor! I wish I had more events where I needed a DJ in my life, because I would love to work with him again!
