They say their company also operates in Los Angeles, which is how we found them. We emailed to confirm this and they assured us they operate all over the US. Five days before our w...
edding, the owner Ken emailed us to say that someone had stolen their equipment. We asked for a refund and he said he would do it “asap.” It has been almost a month and I’ve had to constantly email him to return our money. He’s lied multiple times saying “it’s in the mail.” And then “my wife is on the way to post office to get a tracking number.” Finally a couple days later he sends a picture of a tracking number that was generated an hour before emailing us. This correspondence happened today. I’m not sure if he actually is sending a check or if the check will clear. I wish I had seen other reviews before booking with this company. His excuses seem to be common lies that he uses to cancel on people right before their weddings/events.
*6/20/24 edit: I have received a full refund.
Man, people love flipbooks! Everyone is expecting a photobooth at the wedding, but this is such a unique experience that we haven't seen anywhere else. The videos make it fun for t...
he guests, and they also get a little souvenir, without having to wait in a long line. The photo quality is great, and they are very efficient. They were very easy to work with, and were willing to brainstorm with us on what to put on the cover. They are very reasonably priced and we would recommend for any event!
We are beyond grateful for Flip'n Sweet! Ken is very responsive and helped us along the planning process. Our guest LOVED the unique idea of a Flipbooks and to this day, talk about...
it. Great hit! 10/10 recommend!
They cancelled on us the Sunday before our wedding claiming their equipment was damaged the previous night. The communication from the time we booked up until they cancelled had me...
very suspicious on whether or not they were legitimate. Many emails and calls went unanswered. I wouldn’t waste your time. We scrambled to find another vendor and it was night and day difference!
Flip'n Sweet cancelled on us 5 days before our wedding. It's been over a week now and we still have not had our deposit returned after emailing them. They stated that the 2 people...
who were supposed to run the booth BOTH tested positive for COVID and they had NO ONE as a back up to support our wedding. It's curious that they have no back up support for their business esp at a time like COVID. It's just poor business.
Needless to say we were disappointed and frustrated but to be honest I was not surprised sadly. They had very poor communication throughout the planning process compared to our numerous other excellent vendors and even 2 weeks prior they emailed me because they had lost our graphics for the outside of the flipbook so I sent them a copy.
This is the Houston location as there are a variety of ones around the US but only one on The Knot.
Such a hit at our wedding!! Our guests loved making their own flip books!
Flip'n Sweet was the easiest vendor to work with for my wedding. Ken was super responsive from the very start and so helpful. On the wedding night, which we had a little less than ...
300 people at, he was so professional and nice. There was rarely ever a line because the service was so fast. He kept the books my husband and I made to the side and personally gave it to us before we left for the night. It has been a month since the wedding, and none of my guests go talking about the wedding without mentioning how much they loved our flip books. WELL and EASY deserved 5 stars and most highly recommended! Thanks so much to Ken and his team, I'm extremely happy we decided to use you all! :)
They are great to work with. They helped us design our cover for the flip books, arrived on time to setup their equipment and they had staff to guide the guests about the process. ...
They were supposed to have a TV display to show what's going on while guest are waiting in the line. Most weddings I have been to had normal photo booths, which are kind of old now and not many are really interested in doing it. Flip book concept really clicked with our guests. There was always a constant line. They did their best to move the line fast, but I like that people actually are using it as opposed to no line. Also they sent a link to all the little videos they took on a web portal. That was very cool. People loved it when we shared them on our facebook. I recommend their service. We had our wedding in Minneapolis, MN. They operate in Minneapolis as well, but for some reason they are not showing on the knot in Minneapolis. This was definitely one of the highlights of our night.
