UNPROFESSIONAL THIEVES * 7/1 - I made an appointment online for a classic full set for a date of Tuesday 7/11 at 5:30pm * 7/11 - The day of the appointment, my boss schedules a meeting that will end around 5:00-5:15pm that is mandatory for me to attend. - I then call Flirty Girl Lash Studios at 11:30am and leave then a message informing them that I may be 15-20 minutes late and that it was out my control but I would definitely be there. - I received a call back from the front desk receptionist at 3:23 explaining that they only give a 10 minute grace period per their policy. I asked her to please ask of they could make a concession with me and that I was willing to pay extra or tip very well for the time inconvenience. The receptionist said she would find out and call me back. - I never received a call back. I then called them at 5:15 to let them know I'd be there by 5:45-5:50pm. The receptionist said they could not take me. So I would not be serviced. I literally begged for them to reconsider as I was preparing for an international trip and was on a time crunch. The receptionist placed me on hold and spoke with the owner Bacal who refused to talk to me directly but relayed the message it was not going to happen. I immediately jumped off the phone looking for other places to serve me only to see that Flirty Girl Lash Studio charged me a no show/no call cancelation few of 50% of what my service would have been $66. This policy should apply when a first-time or repeat customer did nothing to communicate nor attempt to make their appointment. I WANTED MY APPT! This is a poor business practice and I understand they are in business to make money but stealing from people for all the reasons I just mentioned is tacky and classless. Do better, period.
