I truly don’t have enough words to express how incredible Flora + Dean was for our wedding. Sal’s passion and creativity radiated with every call we had - I immediately knew I had found my florist when we connected. From our very first meeting, he completely understood my vision and found ways to elevate our plans while keeping us within our budget. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and installation was pure magic—joyful, elegant, and bursting with personality. I’ve never seen an arrangement as beautiful as my bridal bouquet. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the flowers were and that they’d never seen roses so huge! Sal and his team are not only unbelievably talented, but also so warm, responsive, and organized throughout the entire process. Absolutely incredible!! We truly cannot recommend Flora + Dean enough. From the very first consultation, receiving the most beautifully thought out mood board, attention to every detail, and even dealing with some time constraints with setup from our venue - Sal and his team were nothing short of spectacular to work with. We felt so comfortable trusting them to bring our visions to life and sure enough, all expectations were exceeded. Once we were able to see our reception room all set up, I couldn’t stop telling my husband “I can’t get over how beautiful everything looks!!!!” - every arrangement and centerpiece took my breathe away. Putting trust in vendors can be very stressful, but the Flora & Dean Team made it so incredibly easy for our wedding. Their work truly is art and I never had to worry once about what the venue would look like knowing they were in control. The mood boards Sal shared prior to the wedding executed my vision perfectly and his personality made all our conversations seamless. I knew Sal and the team at Flora + Dean were the perfect fit for my wedding flowers + decor from the start. Minutes into our initial consultation phone call, I knew Sal and I were completely on the same page as far as budget, aesthetics, creativity, and a shared love for Harry Potter! Only after sharing with him a few inspiration photos from Pinterest, he was able to pull together an entire detailed mood board with notes and pictures of what he envisioned could be possible for our wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. Sal’s mood board brought tears to my eyes, and I was instantly sold that Flora + Dean was the right choice for our wedding day! I fully trusted their suggestions along the way and had zero hesitation that they were going to blow me away. Throughout the planning process, the team at Flora + Dean were quick to communicate with me as I solidified details for the big day and answered any questions I had along the way. Flora + Dean completely transformed the entry lobby, ceremony space and reception room into a chic Vogue-cover atmosphere with unique touches that I’ve never seen done before with floral arrangements. Let’s take a moment to talk about my wedding bouquet. It was absolutely insane. Sal created the perfect combination of classic + chic but unique and whimsical all at the same time. If you’re looking for the perfect florist for your event, just go with Sal. Sal and Kaitlin made everything so easy .. from the first consultation right up to our wedding day. I wasn’t quite sure what kind of flowers I wanted, and I was having serious difficulty making decisions because I was overwhelmed. Sal took the time to work with me, and guided me through the whole process. He made a vision that I didn’t even know I had come to life on our wedding day. Everything was absolutely perfect, and looked better than I ever could have hoped for. His attention to detail and his honest nature is second to none. I worked with Sal from Flora and Dean for my September wedding. I first inquired on their website and was contacted within 24 hours. From there I worked with Sal about 4-5 times to put together my vision for the wedding. He really helped me with ideas about color schemes, placement, and incorporating other elements as well. His work is beautiful and he is very knowledgeable about what florals go best for your vision and timespan etc. I also love their work because I feel they have elevated the floral space with a more modern twist and expertise. I would highly recommend using this company, they are friendly, professional, and truly care about their work!

Sal understood all our wants and exceeded all our expectations at that. First off, we am blown away by Flora and Dean. Working with Sal and Kaitlyn has been an experience we will never forget. We booked them immediately as our first vendor knowing they were who we wanted to make our florals and centerpieces beautiful. We were so happy we booked them when we did because they are booked two years out! The planning process was easy and their expertise was really helpful. When you are planning a wedding, you have no idea where to start. Sal's mood board was beyond what we could have expected. He listened carefully to the wants our ceremony and reception and made it appear. I really wanted sunflowers as the focus and he made sure they were elevated in every piece. When we got closer to our wedding, we discussed wedding centerpieces and additional table decor. When we saw the huge candelabra and tall gold centerpieces, we fell in love. He supported our flowers being non traditional, vibrant, and bright, We mixed the sizes of the centerpieces and it elevated the event greatly. My bouquet was breathtaking and beyond my expectations. I could go on and on but the pictures will say it all. Everyone at the event commented how stunning the florals and center pieces were. My husband was blown away and I definitely started to cry happy tears when I saw the empty reception room before the ceremony. Flora and Dean will never disappoint and they are certainly the best in the business. Book them fast because you may not be able to! You will have an amazing experience working with Flora and Dean. Sal and his team did an absolutely stunning job designing and decorating our wedding. He was very receptive to our ideas and made them come to life in ways even better than we could have imagined. We got married in the Bok Building in Philadelphia, which is an old school so party was in the gym. We wanted bright colors and disco balls and Sal & co delivered and then some. It was easy to see how passionate they are with their work and how much fun they had to help our wedding come to life. We received tons of compliments on the floral arrangements and decorations and have these guys to thank. Sal was also a delight to work with; he was friendly, knowledgable, and resourceful. We were beyond satisfied with the value for their services. If you want your wedding to be as beautiful as it can be, you absolutely should work with Flora + Dean.

Call Flora & Dean immediately! Sal and his team made our wedding floral dreams come true and far exceeded any/all expectations we had (and the expectations were high). By far, the comment we got the most from our guests on our wedding day was that we had the most beautiful wedding flowers they have ever seen – and it’s true. I love that I will get to stare at them in photos every day for the rest of my life. The entire process was seamless and honestly so enjoyable. Not only is Sal amazing at his craft, but he is the absolute nicest/kindest person to work with - I genuinely enjoyed our planning calls and you can tell how passionate he is. He and his team were detail oriented, organized and so efficient – they listened to any concerns we had and kept us closely involved. After our initial meeting, Sal created a mood board for the various floral components that we legitimately used for everything – we referenced it for bridal dresses, shared it with other vendors and used it to coordinate other wedding colors with. Flora and Dean legitimately made our wedding day – I wish anyone/everyone would be so lucky to get to work with them!

I’ve been following Sal and Kaitlyn at Flora and Dean for a while now and always dreamed of using them for my events! When my husband proposed I knew straight away that they would totally understand my vision and that they would deliver! Sal and Kaitlyn were super easy to communicate with through the whole process! I loved working with them so much that my sister and my mom decided to surprise me and hire them to do the florals for my bridal shower, too! Everything was truly perfect. From the centerpieces, to my bouquet, to the stunningggggg ceremony nest that Sal created for us, we truly couldn’t ask for anything more. Sal has a gift! Not only is he blessed with an eye for design, he is so incredibly kind and absolutely hysterical. These are salt of the earth people here at Flora and Dean! I only have the best things to say about my experience with Flora and Dean. From beginning to end, Sal was transparent and honest which is something I look for in doing work with anyone. Sal had not yet done work at my venue (which I was slightly apprehensive about), but had a scheduled wedding prior to mine. The best phone call we had was after he had completed that work. He came with honest lessons learned and more importantly how we can make my wedding have a major impact, all while staying within the budget we set. To me, transparency and flexibility speaks volumes. Everything was beautiful, Sal nailed my "vision" and I would recommend Sal and his team to anyone in the area!!

Me & my mom met with one other florist before meeting Sal and immediately emailed the first person to let them know we decided to go in a different direction the moment we left our consultation meeting. Sal felt like family from the moment we met him. He is kind, funny, personable, attentive, patient and most importantly, excited to create. You can tell how passionate he is about each individual event he curates for and watching all of his behind the scenes on his Instagram stories are the best. We showed him our venue (Felina) and some inspo pictures and he exceeded every expectation I had on wedding day. He worked well within our budget. At our final design meeting, I basically changed half the vision and with a smile on his face, he had no problem at all! Sal hand delivered my bouquet the morning of before heading to our venue to set up. He is such a breath of fresh air for being apart of such a crazy industry. Flora + Dean - Honestly, I don’t think words can truly describe how amazing their work is but I will try. Sal was a pleasure from the moment we first spoke for our consultation. The excitement and care he expressed was so heartwarming. When I hung up with Sal, I just knew he was the one who was going to bring my vision to life. Owner Sal and his team are absolutely amazing! We recently had our wedding at the Park Chateau in East Brunswick, NJ and used Flora and Dean for all of our florals. With 150 guests and 24 in our Bridal Party, we needed centerpieces for 15 tables in the ballroom, florals for the ceremony in Chapel, florals for all bridesmaids, bouts for groomsman, staircase florals and florals for our sweetheart table and cake. We also had specific needs surrounding budget and Sal went above and beyond to get creative and work within it. Sal listened to exactly what I wanted as the Bride and was able to work with me to bring my vision to life. The execution of what we discussed for the big day couldn’t have been more exact and perfect. Not only was the quality of customer service including speedy response time, family oriented culture and pleasant demeanor of owner Sal and team wonderful, but the florals themselves were unbelievably STUNNING! We were blown away with how beautiful the colors, flower types, and presentation were - it was one of, if not THE highlight of our wedding. We were so pleased with the result and many guests commented on the beauty of our arrangements. Sal at Flora + Dean was absolutely phenomenal! From the first meeting to the big day in November, his responsiveness and attention to detail were outstanding. He effortlessly brought our vision to life, creating stunning table arrangements (3 different designs) for 18 tables along with a breathtaking setup for our sweetheart table. He also made the most beautiful bride's bouquet along with 9 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 flower girl bouquets, 16 boutonnieres, and 4 floral bracelets. I cannot recommend Sal and the staff at Flora + Dean, enough! They are incredible to work with. They are kind, considerate, attentive, responsive, and such professionals at what they do. Their work speaks easily for itself - in the beautiful floral arrangements that were made for us & all of their other brides. But what we loved most about working with Sal & the team was the comfort we felt from our first initial meeting until the day of the wedding. He was willing to listen to everything we wanted while also helping to create something unique. No matter how many times we changed our minds or adjusted what we were looking for, he was willing to listen and adapt as needed. I truly did not have anything “specific” in mind as I wasn’t sure where to start and provided very vague descriptions of what I was looking for and yet with very little information given, Sal and the team created a floral dream I didn’t know I even had. Sal is truly the best florist. From the moment I told him my vision for the wedding and the shower, he truly went above and beyond what I could have imagined. Any questions I had, Sal or a member of his team answered quickly and always kept us in the loop. When I looked at my bouquet the day of the wedding, the ceremony space, and the flowers at my bridal shower (Bridgerton themed) his attention to detail was impeccable, even brought tears to my eyes. Our venue coordinator loved what he did so much that she is now recommending him to so many couples because he was able to elevate the space with the florals and lots of candles to give warm, radiant light. Him and his team are all so positive and had such wonderful energy that you truly can't get anywhere else. Some of my flowers from our centerpieces in fact lasted nearly 2 weeks after the wedding!

Where to begin with how magnificent the Flora and Dean team truly is? Their kindness and thoughtfulness in correspondence is beyond any connection the average wedding vendor will offer you. Their attention to detail and specificity in the initial proposal gave us the confidence to trust Sal to work his magic! What Sal created for our wedding was beyond my wildest dreams. His design was nothing like I’ve ever seen on Pinterest or wedding blogs. He brought to life the true essence of our wedding day - honoring our modern vintage style while meeting our sustainability standards and budget. He made sure local NJ flowers were used in our arrangements and worked with our uniquely curated vintage vessels. A true work of art - Sal outdid himself with the blooms. Stunning flowers of the highest quality adorned every inch of our historical mansion venue. Wildly romantic and antique with textures to grab your attention - each table was uniquely captivating. All the other vendors raved about Sal while he was onsite - complimenting not only his work but his lovely energy.   The moment Sal handed me my bridal bouquet was a pinch-me moment I will cherish forever. In that moment I truly felt like a bride.   We had Sal’s flowers up-cycled after the wedding by Forget Me Knot flowers - spreading love and light to those who need it most on hospice. I don’t have words for how amazing my experience with Flora + Dean was. To start, every time I spoke to Sal I felt like I was just catching up with a long-time best friend. Then there’s his work… I was blown away from the second he sent me the mood board for my wedding. He took my rambling chaotic ideas and was able to completely understand my vision. When we came across some potential obstacles with ideas I had, he always figured out a creative solution. When he dropped off the bouquets on wedding day, my bridesmaids and I were all SPEECHLESS. They were absolutely stunning and I’m still not over it. The florals he made for the venue were GORGEOUS as well!!!!! I can’t express enough how breathtaking they were. I don’t have my professional photos back yet, but I’m going to just add pics to this review because the arrangements speak for themselves. I have guests still telling me they can’t believe how beautiful the flowers were, bridesmaids telling me that this is what they envision for their future weddings, and even all of the staff at our wedding venue approached me throughout the day raving about how much they enjoyed getting to meet Sal, how lovely he was to work with, and how amazing the arrangements were. Sal is truly the best!!!!! Adding the text I sent Sal after my wedding. If you're planning a wedding and reading this...I promise you will not regret going with Flora and Dean as the florist for your wedding (or any event)! Sal - I truly have not found the words yet. The flowers, the candles, the chuppah… everything was PERFECT. As you know I really wasn’t so sure what I wanted, but I feel like you got to know me and then created a design that was just so perfectly me. It was beautiful, elegant, fun, chic and just everything. I hope you don’t mind that towards the end of the night we used the roses as prop microphones. Everyone loved the flowers so much that they took flowers home, which made me so happy!!!! Absolutely loved working with you. Will recommend you to everyone. Thanks for everything!!!

Flora and Dean was an absolute DREAM to work with for my wedding! From start to finish, Sal (the owner) was sooo easy to work with... he is funny, personable, professional, and you can tell he's very passionate about what he does. I sent Sal my inpso pics from Pinterest and he was able to give me the perfect vision of what I wanted but within my budget. The communication leading up to the wedding was phenomenal... he frequently checked in and I was able to email or call him whenever I needed to discuss details, any changes, or day of timeline things... and he always responded promptly. Even the day of my wedding- he was early and set everything up so perfectly and quietly I didn't even know he was there!!! He greeted me with the biggest smile and congratulating me on my big day! He gave me and my bridesmaids our bouquets and showed us the proper way to hold them for photos- which was so appreciated! He came back at the end of the reception to break down the bigger centerpieces, and I couldn't be more thrilled to see him and his wife Kaitlyn and tell them how much everybody loved the flowers. My sister and mother even hired them to do my bridal shower florals months prior (which I was so also thrilled with) because I spoke so highly of Flora and Dean and they wanted to give him more business. EVERYBODY couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous my flowers were at both parties! Sal is not a cookie cutter florist- and it shows. Every single flower he chooses and where he places them is so thought out and calculated. He truly creates magic and I will forever be grateful to Flora and dean for making my special occasions so memorable and beautiful!

Sal at Flora and Dean is one of the best professionals I’ve ever worked with in the wedding industry. From start to finish every aspect of planning out our day was seamless! During our consultation conversations, not only did I feel like I was speaking with a close friend, but I also knew I could trust my vision with him entirely. I was completely blow away by the end result. The sketches and mood board he showed me came to life in the most magical way. He nailed every single detail I could imagine- delivery, color, shape, style- all how I had imagined and hoped. He went above and beyond to make sure our event felt special and looked exactly how we spoke it would. I knew I was collaborating with someone I could wholeheartedly trust and someone who was so experienced and talented he could literally do anything I asked for or envisioned! Sal and his team are so professional from start to finish. If you want all your wedding floral dreams to come true Flora and Dean is the florist for you. I cannot say enough amazing things about them. Walking into our ballroom the day of our wedding I was absolutely blown away. After struggling to find a florists, my wife and I came across Flora + Dean at a wedding we were at. Sal is one of the most genuine and honest vendors we had. The process was very professional and his ability to turn my wife's vision in to reality was amazing. The work Sal does is amazing but his flexibility to work within our budget was unbelievable. Flora + Dean provided incredible florals for my Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower. Each table had a unique centerpiece with thoughtfully curated details that brought a different movie reference to life. We had the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Tea Party & Painting the Roses Red artfully represented with stunning florals. Everyone in attendance had so much fun going from table to table to discover all the little surprises in each piece.

I cannot express how incredible Flora + Dean is. From the first consultation meeting to the day of your event, Sal and his team make dreams come true. Sal has one of the most creative minds when it comes to design, and he’ll take your ideas and make them come to life. We used Flora + Dean for our wedding (July 2022), and not only was it everything I could imagine, but the whole night we kept getting compliments from our guests, asking “Who did your flowers?!”!! Sal is incredible to work with. He can problem solve on the spot, has the warmest and most upbeat attitude about things - and all I can say is just trust him! He knows what he’s doing! Flora+ Dean truly are an amazing team! From start to finish they made everything perfect. From making my husband and I calm; to making sure each flower was placed perfectly on the tables. There is no one else I would recommend for flowers and all your bridal needs! Each person truly cares about you and how you feel on your special day. The one thing I cherished was what Sal told me “when everyone is eating dinner, look up and take it in, that was all you, and everyone is here celebrating you guys.” That was one of my favorite memories between my husband and I.
