out to plan our wedding in a record 3.5 months, I already knew who my first vendor ask would be. There was no question. After Jenn and Derrek Zoom-chatted with my fiancé and me, my guy was sold as well. These two approach their clients with kindness, authenticity, frankness and an infectious collaborative spirit. They agreed to travel to Brooklyn from Jacksonville, FL, and their rates were both transparent and more than reasonable. We remained in constant communication throughout the planning process, and as we designed our wedding in a crunch Jenn and Derrek offered loads of stellar, specific-to-us vendor recs and were directly responsible for our hiring our incredible local florist! They’re not only consummate professionals, they’re generous collaborators with intuition as to what other cooks belong in your wedding kitchen. Cut to our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception— where their coverage and creativity in full force proved BEYOND-BEYOND. Jenn and Derrek are inventive in their set-ups, clear and gentle in their direction and just damn fun! I work in entertainment and have worked with loads of wonderful photographers. So I’ll admit, Wedding Photography was not a world I was thrilled to acclimate to, let alone expose my photo-loathing beau to. But Jenn and Derrek are artists in every way they approach your day, transcending what Wedding Photography can be. Truly. They discovered moments we’d never realize were there, and made our wild Brooklyn waterfront weekend a joyous, seamless celebration of who and why we are. Hire them, hire them, hire them. And be rest assured, your investment will last you the rest of your lives and more. Both in photographs and in memories.

Savannah, Georgia in December of 2021. From the start she felt like an old friend, and made what could otherwise have been a long stretch of photo taking seamless and fun. All of our family and friends left the day raving about Jenn, and it has continued since the wedding and especially now that we have received our pictures. She took all of our creative direction and feedback when we were going through the planning process and executed on it flawlessly - perfectly capturing our stylistic vision on the pictures. There are photographers that shoot for low-volume artistic batches and ones that shoot for volume - somehow Jenn does both. We received 2,200 pictures back after our weekend that were well worth the wait - capturing every detail perfectly and grabbing those in-the-moment emotional moments of ourselves and our guests that leave us in need of an art gallery to print and frame all of our favorite images. If you are trying to figure out where to get the most for your money on your wedding day - add the extra hours, the extra shooter and be sure to have Flora + Fauna there on your big day.

turned outs - I can't stop looking at them. :) But beyond the photos that perfectly captured the day, Jenn and Derek were absolutely fantastic to work with. Leading up to the wedding - from booking them, to initial intro calls, to day of planning - they made everything easy and stress free. They had tons of great recommendations for the flow of the day and day of timeline. Jenn and Derek were also such great vibes all day/night long - they make taking photos actually fun and are such a dymanic duo, we had a blast spending time with them. They were so kind and comforting and helped us shake away some pre-wedding nerves and have a really special way of balancing wanting to capture "the shot" without making us feel like we were missing a single second with our family or friends. My only regret :) is not booking Jenn & Derek for our rehearsal dinner too. They are incredible!!! <3

o easy to get along with. We just clicked with them and knew we met forever friends! Their photography - just WOW. Breathtaking and timeless! They are truly talented and amazing at what they do and it shows in their work. We loved the fact that it was never awkward being in front of the camera. They made sure we were always comfortable, nothing ever felt forced. They were so great with our pups too since they were a part of our engagement photoshoot and our wedding day. As the rain is falling, we are trying to take cover and both of them were very relaxed and kept everyone at ease and on time. Every picture we wanted to take, they made happen! was so fun to get our photos back and see all the beautiful images and happenings from the big day captured on camera. Because their personal aesthetic is so similar to our own they knew how to photograph us, our flowers, the cake, the setting, and the venue in a way that fit the feeling of the wedding- organic and candid, not stiff, posed, or forced. We love, love, love our pictures. The video was perfect. From the music they chose to the vintage film feel to the actual footage, it was everything we could have hoped for. Not only were the final pictures and video amazing, Jenn and Derrick were super professional, punctual, helpful, willing to travel out of state to Austin, and best of all, they are a really fun couple to spend time with. They make you feel comfortable which leads to really great pictures and an easy working relationship. We cannot say enough about them, they are wonderful!

credible and awe inspiring. Jenn & Derrek captured not only the spirit of the day but the spirit of my wife and I as individuals and as a couple. They were both extraordinary in their ability to read and foster our authenticity in the photographs they took; they take beautiful traditional wedding portraits, but are supernaturally gifted at finding the more candid, quiet moments of an occasion. We felt seen and heard and cared for in every moment we spent with Jenn & Derrek. They listened carefully and enthusiastically to the vision we had for our photography and then produced an album that superseded our wildest imaginations of that vision. They shot film and digital (experts in both), and even some Super8 video footage (an extra, surprising, treat). Beyond their level of craft, what makes Jenn & Derrek most remarkable is their ability to create an emotional atmosphere while shooting that made us comfortable and relaxed in the midst of everything. This is their super power! And it is SO VALUABLE. The time we spent shooting with Jenn & Derrek was a breath of calm and an opportunity to be truly present. We can't say enough about how treasured those images and those moments are and will continue to be for us when we think of our wedding day. Jenn & Derrek truly felt like lifelong ‘ohana every step of the way—and now they are!

ately clear that they were a great fit for us. They make such a wonderful team, and we felt extremely comfortable around them both really quickly. I can't even begin to express how lovely our photos turned out. More than just capturing the day, they really managed to capture the whole mood and energy of the day too. They were able to document the entire day but never ever felt even remotely in your face. They also just did a great job of never creating forced moments or poses--everything was so organic, and it really shows in the pictures. Also, our wedding video is so, so special and beautiful. We really could not be more blown away with how it turned out. My husband and I also really appreciated their guidance and support as we picked all of the images for our wedding book, as well as smaller books for our parents, respectively. The books are all beautiful, thanks to all of their imperative assistance! I'd also like to add that despite the fact my husband and I live in Philly and Jenn and Derrek live in Florida, that was never an issue. They were always highly communicative, punctual, and an absolute treat to work with in every regard. I really can't say enough good things about them. Getting our photos taken is not super natural for us so having chill photographers who don't stress you out and are able to give clear directions while making you laugh was key. They were also able to work with our planner and other vendors really well. The photos came out better than I would have ever expected. Oh and adding the video was the other best decision we made. Derrek did a fabulous job editing the hours of footage into a highlight reel that makes us look much cooler than we actually are.
