Flora MiLou is a Florist in Fenton, MO Alaina Huebner is the owner of a florist dedicated to weddings and special events across Missouri and beyond. Along with her team, she designs organic, fresh arrangements that will brighten up and elevate your ceremony and reception spaces, in the colors and styles that mean the most to you. Inspired by Marriage Alaina is a former kindergarten teacher who has always enjoyed any opportunity to use her hands and get creative. Her passion for teaching children morphed into a deeper love for connecting and celebrating women. On June 18th, 2022, Alaina married her better half, and upon seeing her bouquet, everything changed. It had a profound effect, so much so she decided to leave her career in education and start up her own business, becoming owner and lead designer at Flora MiLou. Three C's - Creativity, Connection, and Celebration Alaina opened the company in October 2022, predicated on her three C's principle. C stands for Creativity, Connection, and Celebration. The initial consultation will see you and your partner connect with Alaina and the Flora MiLou team as they learn all they can about you. In the weeks leading up to your special day, they will source the highest quality products and flowers to ensure your "I do" scene exceeds all expectations in beauty, warmth, and joy. Hi!!! My name is Abby and most people would describe me as an old soul! I'm from Holland, MI and am currently pursing my dream of becoming a neurological Physical Therapist. Some of the things I love are needlepointing, books, baking, early bedtimes, my 2 dogs, Gilmore girls, crafts, shopping, Christmas time, and of course flowers! I've been with Flora MiLou since Fall of 2023, and it has truly become a home away from home. I've worked in almost every role, but now you'll mostly catch me behind the computer as the administrative assistant.

It was my story, held in full bloom — the colors, textures, and fragrance all coming together in a way that made me feel grounded, celebrated, and completely at peace. That moment planted the seed for Flora MiLou — a floral design studio built on connection, creativity, and care. What began with weddings has grown to include events, corporate experiences, and even custom storytelling arrangements that honor life’s most tender milestones. Through every arrangement, we aim to bring beauty, ease, and meaning to our clients’ lives.

Hello! My name is Amy. I have been married to my best friend, Doug, since 2012 and we have 3 amazing children who keep us very busy with sports and dance. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, reading, going to the lake, and hanging out with my family. I enjoy working with our Flora MiLou team and bringing our client's visions to life. I enjoy being creative and working with a wide variety of flowers!

just knew I wanted everything to feel pretty and special, and I was honestly a little overwhelmed at first. Finding Flora MiLou was such a relief. From the beginning, the whole experience felt easy and comfortable. They really take the time to understand what you’re looking for, even if you don’t know how to explain it perfectly which was definitely me. I felt listened to, supported, and never pressured, and they worked with me to design something beautiful that fit within my budget. One thing I absolutely loved was how creative they were about repurposing flowers throughout the day. Arrangements from the ceremony were used in such smart and unique ways at the reception, and everything looked so cohesive and thoughtfully put together. When I saw my flowers on the wedding day, I was honestly blown away. They were absolutely stunning—lush, elegant, and even more beautiful than I imagined. She made my vision come to life! Every single detail was perfect, from my bouquet to the ceremony and reception florals. People at my wedding kept asking about them all night. Guests kept stopping me to say they had never seen flowers like that at a wedding before and could not believe how gorgeous everything looked. After we got the contract, we asked for changes to lower the price. We never got it so we didn’t sign. We read the contract and it said you pay contract price even if you change it...

and it is lower, you still pay the initial price. So glad we read that a d very disappointed that we never got a revised lower bid that we asked for.

the first following up with you in regards to making the changes. We sent that your way on January 13th and notified you the changes were made. "Hi Ashlie! I just updated that quote for you! To answer your question, yes you can adjust the quote to increase the amount but not decrease after the deposit is paid. We are happy to push back the deposit due date until you have your meeting if that makes it easier for you! Please let me know if you have any other questions!" My assistant, Abby, followed up with you on January 21st after your meeting with Pleasant Hill Chapel and stated: "Hi Ashlie! I just wanted to follow-up after your meeting with Pleasant Hill Chapel. Let us know if you want us to make any adjustments to the quote or if you have any questions :)" I just want to make sure that you were able to see all of the updates we made to the quote on January 13th, I can send documentation your way for reference as well. We do have a clause about committing to the minimum investment initially agreed upon; we of course can make changes from there, the investment holds our clients' dates, locking in product forecasting, inventory management, and managing the booking of other clients with our current work flow. I apologize if you interpreted this differently. I will take this into account moving forward. I enjoyed our conversation and was really looking forward to working with you. I enjoyed hearing about how you and David met, even meeting with your Mom. I am sorry you feel this way. If you would like to discuss over the phone for further clarity, I would love to do so. I have given Alaina's name to a couple of my friends, and they have used her services as well. In fact, she has provided flowers for a couple bridal showers I have hosted as well.
