My husband, bridesmaids, mom, and grandma and I decided that instead of hiring a florist and paying hundreds, we'd order our flowers wholesale and do them ourselves. I ordered through Florabundance out of California, and spent $500 for ALL of my flowers. A friend who used to work in a floral shop helped, but it was fun to be able to make my own bouquet and my grooms boot. Florabundance was considerably cheaper than other wholesalers, packed my flowers well and they arrived on time. Some of my greenery wilted/died before, but the flowers that mattered, the Roses, were perfect. The flower heads were large and held together well throughout the whole day. A good majority of the flowers were also grown in California, so if you like to support American farmers/growers, you can as well (only my cream roses were South American because we couldn't get them local!)
